We've kept in touch all along, and we even chatted in the "Witch's House" group yesterday, but when we met in person, we still had so much to talk about.

"Before leaving Delicious Island, I finally knocked Igniva down with my fists! Now, my physical strength is the strongest among the young dragons!" Vasita showed everyone her strong arms.

Lilith pinched it, feeling it didn't quite feel real: "It looks stronger than before, but these muscles still don't look as big as the warriors in the Chaos City arena! They can only fight against high-level magical beasts at most!"

"That's such an ugly thing to look like!" Vasita said. "The power ceiling that muscles can provide is too low. Even dragons, with their strong bodies, aren't all covered in muscles!"

"Vashida, what's wrong with your shoes?" Sylph stared at Vashida's feet in confusion.

They had been lying side by side on the grass. When she turned her head to the left, she could see Lilith resting her head on her arm with her chin slightly raised, and she could see Vasita's mouth opening and closing as she chattered incessantly. When she turned her head to the right, she could see Moran's eyes shining brightly as she stared at the starry sky.

Everyone seemed to be thinking at the same level, and at that time she hadn't realized something was wrong.

It wasn't until Vasita excitedly sat up and showed her arm that Lilith also sat up and touched her arm.

The two were a full body length apart, and Vasita was a head shorter than Lilith, which made Sylph realize something was amiss.

When they were standing, Vasita was about the same height as them, but now that they're sitting, the difference is so great.

After staring at it for a few moments with a puzzled look, he finally noticed the shoes on Vasita's feet.

The thickness of the sole is a bit too much.

Upon hearing Sylph's words, Lilith also looked at Vasita's feet: "You wore these shoes to defeat the genius red dragon Igniva?"

Vasita shrank back, but realizing she couldn't hide it any longer, she became even more assertive: "That's right! Even wearing platform shoes, I can still fight!"

Moran had noticed it back on Delicious Island, but out of consideration for Vasita's pride, he hadn't said anything. Seeing Vasita's sullen expression after being exposed, he chuckled and comforted her.
“You don’t need to torture yourself by wearing these shoes. It’s not that you’re too short, it’s that we’re too tall. Your height is normal among witches and humans.”

Vasita, who is 1.6 meters tall, found her excuse, kicked off her shoes, stood up barefoot, put her hands on her hips and said, "That's right! I'm not short at all!"

"Seriously, Moran, you've learned so much magic, both mage and dragon magic, don't you really have any magic that can make people grow taller? Magical items or potions will do!" Vasita grabbed Moran and asked.

Moran shook her head: "If I had one, I would have recommended it to you already."

After all, it wasn't the first time she'd noticed that Vasita was bothered by her height.

"Hahaha!" Lilith couldn't help but burst out laughing.

Vasida turned to look at her again:
"Lilith, what about you? You've studied and analyzed so much blood from different races, haven't you found a blood magic that can make people grow taller?"

“There’s nothing that can make you grow taller, but there is something that can make you shorter, but it would double your strength. Do you want that?” Lilith said. Vasita waved her hands repeatedly, “No, no! I can’t get any shorter! If I get any shorter, I’ll become a dwarf.”

"This blood magic is extracted from dwarven blood, and it sells very well at the Dawn Academy! Many mages buy it for their younger relatives who don't have magical talent," Lilith said.

"What have you actually researched all these years?!" Vasita couldn't help but say, "Isn't your blood magic supposed to only absorb the advantages of other races and not have any side effects? How come it has such a huge side effect as shrinking?"

"Because being too tall will affect the center of gravity and the ability to generate power! Being shorter allows the energy in the blood to exert its maximum effect. This is not a side effect at all; it's just preparing the body in advance."

Not everyone can possess power beyond the physical potential of a dragon. Otherwise, I wouldn't have put {Blood Magic - Dwarven Extraordinary Power} in the Dawn Academy for sale, and instead put the better {Blood Magic - Dragon Extraordinary Power} in the Witch's version of the card shop.

Lilith kept trying to tell her, "Your current height isn't necessarily a bad thing. Maybe it's just that your physical strength is so high that it takes extra time to grow!"

"You're right! I just grow a little slowly!"

Vasita lay down comfortably: "After everyone returns to the wilderness this time, shouldn't we wait until the situation stabilizes before going out again?"

Sylph shook her head: "I'm already prepared to establish a witch's house here and settle down."

"Now that the situation has stabilized, you're not going out to travel anymore?" Vasita asked in surprise.

“Not for now,” Sylph said. “These past few months since I came back have made me realize that I still prefer to find a place where I can peacefully cultivate my plants. If it weren’t for the plant seeds from all over the world, even from other worlds, in the card shop, I might go out to collect seeds I’ve never seen before. But right now, what I have in the card shop is enough for me to study for a long time. I’ll probably only go traveling again when there are no more new plants for me to study! But at that time, I’ll probably just go straight to the Sky Well.”

"That's right. Your Myriad Seeds Box only needs to continuously cultivate different plants to produce mutated plant seeds."

Vasita understood her choice and turned to Lilith, asking, "And you?"

“I’m about the same as Sylph. I’ve collected almost all of Valen’s alien blood, and I can buy the corresponding {blood cards} in Moran’s card book. I’m not short of research materials at all. I can find a safe place to carefully study my blood magic. There’s no place safer for a witch than the wilderness,” Lilith said.

After listening to their words, Vasida also reflected on her future plans:

"To be honest, I don't know where I need to go to travel to Valen to further improve my melee skills. Apart from the dragons, there shouldn't be anyone in Valen who can withstand one punch from me."

I'm currently quite interested in dragon magic, and Moran has already collected all the learning materials. Learning dragon magic in the wilderness seems safer than learning it elsewhere.

“Then you can stay in the wilderness and learn dragon magic!” Lilith said. “That way, everyone can stay in the wilderness and get together more often like this.”

Finally, the three of them looked at Moran together.

“Don’t look at me, I’m determined to get out of here. I haven’t even been to the Abyss yet! I won’t settle back in the wilderness until I’ve mastered the magic of all the races of Valen,” Moran said. (End of Chapter)
