“Of course there are! But those are legendary treasures, extremely rare and precious, only seen once in Valen,” Alamir said.

If he had a spatial treasure capable of storing plants, he would probably be back in the Elf Forest by now.

He wasn't considered powerful among the elves; he hadn't even set foot in the Sky Well, so where would he find such a treasure?

"Is it that rare?" Greta murmured.

If she remembered correctly, there was a card in the Dawn Society's resource list that could transplant plants!
The price is indeed very high, but even at that price, it only costs gem coins!
You can exchange it for magical energy.

"What did you say?" Alamir didn't hear what she said clearly.

“It’s nothing,” Greta said.

She now knows what Mr. Elf's predicament is and how to resolve it.

But telling him now would seem too deliberate.

She needed to think carefully about how to give the Dawn Society invitation to the elf while letting him know that the Dawn Society had what he wanted.

He'll definitely accept the invitation then.

Greta chatted with the elf for a while longer before taking her leave when her colleagues at the inn called for her help.

It seems like it was just a spur-of-the-moment thing, a brief chat with Mr. Elf.

In a small suite facing the sun on the second floor of the Oak Tree Hotel.

Moran, Lilith, Vasita, and Sylph all stood by the window watching this scene.

“Greta has gone back to the Golden Ball Inn. It’s getting late, let’s go across the street for dinner!” Vasita said.

“Eat a little less later, check on Greta’s condition, and then come back to our own tent for dinner,” Lilith said.

"I'll just have some vegetable soup or other vegetarian dishes later; vegetarian dishes are less likely to go wrong," Sylph said.

They still vividly remember the meal they had at the Silver Flower Hostel last time.

"Let's go!" Moran turned and walked towards the door.

*
Golden Ball Hotel.

“Welcome~”

"There are still empty seats here, please come this way."

"What would you like to eat?"

Greta greeted the four guests who had just entered with a friendly smile.

For some reason, these guests seemed to linger on her face for a rather long time.

If these weren't four young ladies who were mages, she would have almost thought they had designs on her.

Moran flipped through the menu: "Honey roast suckling pig, moss soup, salted herring, agave stewed deer heart, peacock berry pie, that's all!"

"Okay!" Greta noted down the name of the dish and hurriedly ran to the kitchen.

"Your face looks a bit rounder; you must be doing well lately," Sylph whispered.

Everyone knew who she was talking about and nodded in agreement.

Moran, having read Greta's Memories, was more deeply moved by it.

Walking through the hostel restaurant, serving tea and water, Greta, who didn't seem like a mage, was living a much more frugal life than when she was in the preparatory saints' class at the temple, but she looked more energetic and vibrant.

"Mentor, did we order a bit too much food today?" Vasida's tongue was a little numb after hearing Moran recite a long list of dishes.

Sylph and Lilith were also a little uneasy.

Moran chuckled inwardly and reminded them:

"These dishes are all specialties of the Golden Flower Inn. I heard that they were created by the witch marquis of the Duchy of Lance. You can't find them anywhere else."

After I complained to Grandma Della about the food at the Silver Flower Inn in my last letter, Grandma Della recommended these dishes to me, so I came here today to try them out.

"What? A witch's dish?" The group's hearts sank back to normal.

The witch's dishes, at least, were generous with the use of spices, and the ingredients were prepared very meticulously.

Looking around the restaurant, it was filled with monks.

The apprentices are all very young, and those who are a little older are at least junior mages.

Judging from their attire, they are both in very good financial condition.

Wealthy mages also value enjoyment. The fact that they chose to dine here in such a large city as Lance indicates that it is a relatively high-end restaurant.

Vasita and the others felt even more at ease.

It took about half an hour for all the dishes to be served.

Every dish looked very appealing.

Everyone's attention was focused on the moss soup and the peacock apple pie.

Vasita looked at the bowl of green, seemingly glowing soup with a puzzled expression: "This is a thick soup, not poison?"

“You’re too kind.” Greta had just placed the dishes down when she heard this and explained, “This thick soup is made with fluorescent moss from the underground world, which is why it has this color. Its color will lighten as the temperature drops, and it will be at its best when it turns the same green as the bowl.”

"Really? How does it taste?" Vasita asked curiously.

“It’s very refreshing,” Greta said. “Some guests have said that the dish also has a slight energizing effect.”

"Fluorescent moss is quite common in the underground world, isn't it? I've never heard of it having any special effects!" Lilith asked, puzzled.

“You’ll know once you try it,” Greta said.

"What about the peacock berry pie?" Sylph asked. "Wouldn't it be a bit odd to make a pie with berries and poultry together?"

She simply couldn't imagine what it would feel like to combine sweet berry pie with poultry.

"The poultry used in this dish is a three-month-old duk, and the meat is very tender. It has a unique flavor when paired with berries!"

Greta answered without hesitation.

Although she herself didn't quite understand this way of eating, introducing and recommending dishes was also part of her job.

Trusting her grandmother Della, Moran was the first to try it out.

The gamey smell of the meat was removed, and the saltiness was just right.

The flavor is just so unique.

The thick moss soup was as refreshing as mint soup.

The agave stewed with deer heart has a rich, aromatic flavor.

The dukuk meat in the peacock berry pie has a smooth, pudding-like texture.

Only the salted herring and honey-roasted suckling pig tasted somewhat like what they had imagined.

Sylph loved moss soup, Lilith loved agave stewed with deer heart, Vasita loved peacock berry pie, and Moran loved honey-roasted suckling pig.

"The witch's food truly lives up to its reputation!" Lilith exclaimed. "Mentor, when can we come back for another meal?"

Sylph and Vasita also perked up their ears.

Moran smiled and said, "This time it's on me, but next time it's up to you."

Lilith brought over the menu and glanced at the prices: "I suddenly feel that these dishes aren't so great after all."

Vasita peeked out, then silently withdrew her head; even the cheapest one cost a gold coin.

Sylph still remembered today's scene: "1200 bowls of moss soup could buy the Oak Inn, that's too expensive!"

Moran: "..."

She didn't know whether to be thankful for her friend's superb acting skills or to lament that this meal would be her last. (End of Chapter)
