Moran stared at the 15 Gem Coins and {Energy Storage Card - 1 Mana} on the wooden board: "You can buy it with Gem Coins and Energy Storage Cards?"

"The value is the same! Thanks to your card magic, Moran, everyone has more money on hand, and my tavern's business has improved a lot. That last drink was on me. But you'll have to spend some money now!"

Ildis turned the wine glass in her hand upside down; there wasn't a drop of wine left in it.

Both Magic Coins and {Energy Storage Card - 1 Mana} contain 1 Mana of magic power. 15 Gem Coins can buy a single {Energy Storage Card - 1 Mana}, so in a sense, they are indeed equivalent in value.

Moran simply hadn't expected that a witch would so quickly equate gem coins and {energy storage cards} with magic coins, using them as a form of currency.

“This is basically the standard trading model in Witch Town now,” Lilith said, unsurprised. “You also have another title now: the Wealth Witch. Everyone says you’re the witch who controls Gem Coin Cards and Energy Storage Cards, a symbol of wealth.”

Lilith meant it when she said she'd treat everyone to drinks. She activated her card magic and started searching for cards in her storage compartment:

"Seriously, Moran, can't we just convert Gem Coins into Gem Coin Cards directly? You can't accumulate Gem Coin Cards without drawing cards. Or how about making more denominations of Energy Storage Cards, or even allowing them to be combined or split? Sometimes it's hard to even out the change."

She rummaged through her things and found four {Gem Coin Cards - 10} and five {Gem Coin Cards - 1}, handing them to Eldis: "Give each of us three a glass of this Tiger-Scented Rose!"

Eldis took the card: "Meme!"

The large copper kettle on the campfire immediately jumped down from the shelf.

With his hands on his hips, Tonghu called out, "Children, it's time to entertain the guests!"

Three of the wine glasses by the campfire stood up, ran over, jumped in front of Moran and the others, and landed steadily in their hands.

The wine glass in front of Zizi was in a dilemma, because Zizi had only poked her head out, and her hands were still hidden in her handbag.

"Why don't you take your hand out, sir?" the glass said. "Or would you like to try holding it in your mouth?"

Zizi, who had been taught a little Valencia by Moran, understood the word "hand," popped out of her bag, and sat down next to Moran.

The wine glass breathed a sigh of relief and jumped into Zizi's arms, where it was hugged.

Copper Kettle then gracefully walked over, filled their wine cups with wine, and then hung himself on the campfire.

Moran looked at the wine glass in his hand, then at the bronze pot, his eyes filled with surprise.

She suddenly realized that this trip to the continent of Valen might bring many surprises just like Meimei's.

Two "plop" sounds came from nearby, one big and one small, and Lilith and Zizi both fell to the ground on the grass.

The witch and the monkey had both emptied their cups and lay on the ground, their faces flushed, completely drunk and unconscious.

"Squeak! Lilith!" Moran asked Ms. Ildis with some concern, "Just from that sniff, this wine shouldn't be this intoxicating!"

“There are two ways to drink this wine. One is to sniff it gently, and the other is to sniff it intensely,” Eltis said.

When I saw the wine card with the name "{ZhiZhi's Favorite Wine - Cat Carrying 100 Barrels of Wine}", I gasped.
"You're quite the easygoing little monkey, but I only have the few remaining Fierce Roses from Meimei's belly, not enough to exchange for your wine card. Besides, I can't let you buy them all; I still need to sell them at the tavern!"

Moran brought Zizi back.

Silly girl, the senior is bargaining! Who raises the price themselves? Luckily, Ms. Eltis didn't go along with the deal.

In the end, Lilith was unable to negotiate a lower price, as there wasn't much Tiger-Scented Rose brewed by Eldis, and this was just a special occasion to give everyone a taste of it on Independence Day.

Even if they wanted to buy, they were only willing to sell three cups to each person, and Zizi was counted as one of them.

And it's not a discounted price, it's the original price.
