Chapter 374 Graduation Banquet

Chapter 374 Graduation Banquet
Moran glanced at it; the several new mutated plants included were quite interesting, but not very useful to her.

She went to the card shop and bought a {Drilling Mushroom - Seed Card}.

This card is just a vessel for her cards; the seed inside was provided by Sylph. So even though she is the owner of the Card Book, she still has to honestly buy it from the shop.

You don't need a {planting pot card}, you can just make one directly.

Moran chose the smallest planting pot, number 1, which was originally brown and a small square pot with sides of 50cm. After she redesigned it, it became a white round flower pot with a diameter of 50cm, and there was a red Q-version small mushroom on the flower pot.

After choosing the right pot, she materialized the seeds of the ground-dwelling mushroom.

The seeds of the ground mushroom are not spores, but look like a red rainbow candy.

Moran first used the No. 3 alien magic to convert its magic power into the plant energy it needed, and it hatched and turned into a red mini mushroom.

Before she could plant it, it jumped into the planting pot and buried itself.

Moran used the third type of alien magic to summon it out, revealing its little red umbrella outside.

Sylph said unsurprised, "The burrowing mushroom is very sensitive to the soil. According to the burrowing mushroom I raised, it feels insecure if it's not touching the soil."

As soon as Moran withdrew the alien magic, the burrowing mushroom couldn't wait a second longer and immediately burrowed back into the flowerpot.

It was clear that it had only barely poked its head out to eat the plant energy she had given it.

“You need to nurture it more. Once it becomes familiar with your exotic magical energy and recognizes you as its master, it will invite you into its mushroom house and protect you as well,” Sylph said.

"From what you're saying, it's as if the mushroom house already exists as soon as it grows out?" Moran asked curiously. "Isn't the mushroom house formed after it grows up?"

"At first, I also thought that it only appeared when I grew up. In fact, the process of cultivating the burrowing mushroom is to attract it with alien magical energy and build a good relationship with it."

"It already had mushroom houses from the beginning, but the bigger it grows, the larger the space inside the mushroom houses becomes," Sylph said.

"This feels a bit like having a plant-type magical pet."

Moran used a different kind of magic to lure the burrowing mushroom out again and teased it for a bit.

As the burrowing mushroom jumped up and plunged into the soil, Moran suddenly noticed that its mushroom stump was flat and round, with no roots at all.

“It grows entirely on exotic magical energy; the energy it obtains from the soil is almost negligible,” Sylph said.

Moran: "The burrowing mushroom is truly a magical thing!"

After playing with the burrowing mushrooms for a while, Moran and the little witches went to bed to rest, so they could be well-rested for the graduation ceremony that evening.

As night fell, Ms. Amisa's voice rang out:

"Fifth-year witches, put on your school robes and arrive at the Great Hall before eight o'clock to attend the graduation ceremony."

Each little witch was accompanied by a set of standard school robes: a black hooded robe, a white undergarment, a black long skirt and stockings, and brown leather shoes, just like the ones they were given when they entered school.

"Wow! They're giving out clothes again!" Ais exclaimed in surprise.

She was the most raggedly dressed little witch in the entire grade, and she still maintains the rugged style of dressing in animal skins that she wore during the survival trials.

It wasn't that she didn't want to dress presentably; in order to take advantage of the graduation event and draw more cards she wanted, she recharged all her extra magic power into gem coins to draw cards.

She ran out of gem coins to buy a {Clothing Card}, and hadn't drawn one either, so she could only slightly refine her existing animal hide clothing and wear it. She thought she'd graduate looking like this, but then came an unexpected surprise!
Where there are witches, there are also witches who are troubled.

Moran, who had carefully prepared a unique graduation gown for herself, sadly put away the {graduation gown card}.

He picked up the ordinary-looking school uniform with only a touch of nostalgia: "Hmm? This robe feels different from the one we were given when we enrolled?"

She touched her inner garment and skirt again and found that all the other clothes were the same as those issued when she enrolled, except for this witch's robe, which was different.

Moreover, it was strange that Moran couldn't even recognize what kind of fabric the robe was made of.

She had touched every type of fabric in the fabric warehouse back then, and Moran recognized all the common magical fabrics in Valen.

Rare magical fabrics that are not commonly seen all have their own distinct characteristics. Even though she had never handled them herself, she had seen pictures of them in Lady Tracy's picture book, so she wouldn't be unable to recognize them.

She asked Ms. Amisha curiously, and Ms. Amisha only said that she would know at the graduation ceremony.

Moran knew nothing about the witches' graduation ceremony; like the entrance ceremony, he had never seen a description of it in any book.

“My mom said there will be a surprise at the graduation ceremony,” Sylph said.

The other little witches chimed in, "That's what my mom said too!"

“Didn’t your mother say the same thing during the entrance ceremony?” Vasita muttered.

Her mother had said there would be a surprise at the entrance ceremony, but she ended up getting confused by the teleportation portal and landing face-first at the academy.

The little witches, remembering their entrance ceremony, froze in their anticipation: "Oh no, are there more traps waiting for us?"

Given Ms. Amisa's twisted sense of humor, it's almost certainly true!

Suddenly, they became more wary of the upcoming graduation ceremony.

At 7:30, the little witches, dressed in their newest attire, cautiously made their way to the Great Hall.

Ms. Amisa has not yet arrived. There is only one long table in the auditorium, with twenty-eight chairs around it.

The little witches took their seats one by one, leaving the head seat for Ms. Amisha.

"Is there another banquet tonight? This is the table where we had the feast at the entrance ceremony, right?" Vasita asked expectantly, touching the table.

"If I could have one more gourmet feast before leaving school, I would have no regrets!" Ais exclaimed. "Dean, did you hear that?"

Amisha appeared at the head of the table: "Since you've arrived early, let's start the banquet early so you can have more time to eat."

Various delicacies immediately appeared on the table.

The little witches were practically drooling.

“Speaking of which, why didn’t I see the magic book for the Feast of Delicacies at the academy?” Vasita said between bites. “That’s the magic I most want to learn.”

"The Feast of Delicacies is not a traditional witch's magic, but a new magic created by combining otherworldly magic with cooking magic that surpasses the pinnacle."

"The witch who created this magic has passed away. It's now kept in the witches' library, and all witches who have earned the title of Gourmet Witch can copy it down and learn it," Moran said.

She can take advantage of her trip to the witch town to copy down the magic book of the Feast of Delicacies.
