Chapter 215 Double Speed

The other little witches quickly snapped out of their daze, rewound the video, and started watching it again.

Moran didn't move at all.

Most of the time, you can just listen to the language lesson videos.

She had been daydreaming for a while, but it didn't affect her ability to listen to the lesson with the ear that was wearing headphones.

Now that her attention was fully focused on the lesson, Moran even felt that the lecture was a little slow, so she adjusted the video playback speed.

I first set it to 1.5x speed, but after listening for a while, I felt it was still too slow, so I changed it to 2x speed.

At 2x speed, Moran's thought process was still fast enough, but Ms. Amisa's voice was not as clear in the video.

This was a language class, and considering the importance of word pronunciation, she didn't speed up the pace. Instead, she flipped through the "Angel Language Dictionary" while listening to the video lectures, only watching the videos when there were demonstrations.

When it came to teaching her the pronunciation of Angel Language, she would slow down a bit, listen to normal speaking speed, and quietly repeat after her.

As Moran began to read the words, Amisha glanced at her, then leisurely strolled among the little witches, wine glass in hand.

When Amisha glanced at the playback speed of Moran's video, she almost thought she was drunk.

She didn't know before why the projector had this feature.

Now I know.

As one of the few all-around witches, Amisha is often praised by other witches for her hard work and eagerness to learn.

Lady Tracy even said that although she wasn't the most naturally gifted, she was the most hardworking.

Before becoming the dean, she only had magic; after becoming the dean, she had a life.

But now, Amisha says the "most hardworking" person is going to be replaced.

Fortunately, she has already achieved her goal of mastering all types of magic, so she no longer needs to compete with the students.

Quickly drink two more sips of wine to calm your nerves!

The other little witches, upon hearing Moran's voice, knew that her video was being shown in front of them.

However, they didn't know what happened next, or how much faster it was.

When the clock struck ten, Ms. Amisa tapped the table to stop them:
"Those who didn't finish listening can listen to it at their own pace after class."

In addition, be sure to record yourself reading the words aloud, listen to them, and compare them with the videos to see if your pronunciation is correct.

I will check your pronunciation before the next Angel Language class.

You can't learn a language very well by just spending time in class; you need to spend more time on your own after class.

get out of class dismissed! Ten minutes later, in the same classroom, it was time for Demon Language class.

"I'll be going now!" Alba put the flat panel projector back into the card slot and left the classroom.

“I haven’t finished reading yet, but I’ll start reading now!” Lilith said.

Upon hearing this, Sylph and Vasita also pressed the play button again.

Moran got up and went to find Ms. Amisha, who was waiting for the next class: "Dean, do you still have the teaching videos for the Angel Language class? I've watched them all."

"That's it." Amisha was finally convinced.

Last night, she worked through the night to record instructional videos using multiple clones, recording two lessons at a time, just so that little witches who wanted to learn ahead of time could have access to the learning materials.

Unexpectedly, this little witch who watches videos at double speed appeared.

"There are also videos for the elective courses for second-year students. Do you want to copy them in advance?"

"Yes!" Moran said without hesitation.

A minute later, she returned to her seat satisfied, holding the videotape containing fourteen new lessons. She put away the *Angel Language Dictionary*, took out the *Devil Language Dictionary*, and then opened the first lesson video in Devil Language—still at double speed.

Today is the first time she has learned a foreign language with her exceptional memory.

I have to say, this feels amazing.

She really learns a little bit, masters a little bit, and once something passes through her mind, it becomes hers.

The angelic alphabet and vocabulary she memorized were as firmly ingrained as the witch language that had been introduced into her mind through her bloodline at birth.

If you learn this skill, without looking at the wings, who would be able to tell her apart from an angel!
There are no difficulties or troubles in learning; instead, you're filled with the sense of accomplishment of acquiring knowledge, making it incredibly addictive.

Even after watching two one-hour instructional videos, I still felt like I hadn't had enough.

Fortunately, the tutorial videos for Angel Language are gone, but those for Demon Language are still available.

Just as Moran was about to press the play button, three heads squeezed into front of the flat panel projector screen.

One red, one black, one green.

"My God! Double speed!"

"No wonder we couldn't even finish watching a one-hour video lesson, but Moran, you watched two lessons!"

"So fast, can you understand me?"

Three faces were shocked.

"Sure!" Moran said, "You can try gradually increasing the speed, but of course, you should be able to understand it. You can't listen to new lessons too fast, but you can listen to them during review!"

Lilith, Vashida, and Sylph were skeptical, but went back to continue watching the video of the first lesson in Angel Language that they hadn't finished watching.

1.2x speed, huh? Not bad!
1.5x speed? No way, it's too fast!

When listening to the pronunciation, you should play it even slower.

Then look at Moran, who can still find the energy to look up words in the dictionary while listening to videos at double speed.

The three little witches: "..."

"I strongly suspect that above witches and sorceresses, there exists a transcendent being that has awakened three times, probably looking something like Moran. And I have evidence!"

Vasita confidently stated, "Human women awaken as witches and gain magical bloodlines; witches awaken as sorceresses and gain materialized talents; sorceresses awaken again and gain extraordinary memory and thinking abilities."

“I think what you said makes some sense!” Lilith said, stroking her chin. “Only awakening can explain it.”

Sylph looked puzzled: "Didn't Moran say that her extraordinary memories might be a gift from the consciousness of her previous life? Some souls from other worlds do indeed possess special talents."

Vasita and Lilith both turned to look at her.

At this point, let's not blurt out any blunt truths!

"Just a friendly reminder, there are five minutes left before the Demon Language class starts!" Moran, her eyes glued to her book and one earphone in her ear, took the opportunity to give them a quick reminder.

The three little witches: "!!!"

I'm not going to say anything more, let's keep watching.

If the discomfort of not having watched the videos yet after class is one, then the discomfort of knowing that Moran has finished watching two videos while they haven't even finished one is one hundred!
They are all friends who have agreed to go on adventures with other races in the future. They can't all pretend to be mute and leave Moran to speak alone, can they?
A mute girl's adventure team? Hmm~ that's too weird!
After watching the first lesson video, before Ms. Amisa could even speak, the little witches checked the time.

Good grief, five minutes of class time have already passed.

"There are no other little witches choosing this class. As usual, just keep reading!"

Amisha said this while opening a bottle of wine.

The little witches: "..."

This class is getting more and more casual.
