Chapter 14 Devouring the Stomach

Chapter 14 Devouring the Stomach
The stomach, no bigger than the palm of a hand, was stuffed with a half-meter-long breadfruit, yet it still didn't seem to have grown any bigger.

After swallowing the breadfruit, my stomach only moved slightly.

Lilith, who had been paying close attention to Vasita's magical state, immediately noticed the change in her:

"My magic power has recovered somewhat!"

Vasita also felt her hunger lessen: "It really can be digested directly by the stomach! That's great!"

With the elimination of chewing and swallowing, eating breadfruit was no longer a problem for her.

She squatted down, widened the opening of her stomach bag, and quickly stuffed all the remaining breadfruit on the ground into it.

The next moment, she was back to her peak condition, and she could even feel that there was still some surplus energy stored in her body.

"Your magic is overflowing." Lilith couldn't help but show an envious look: "The energy-replenishing effect of breadfruit is particularly noticeable on you, which is undoubtedly the effect of your innate manifestation."

With this ability, as long as you have enough food, you don't have to worry about running out of magic!

"Vashida, promise me, once witch magic is developed, you'll let me know first, and I'll sign a contract with you immediately!"

Lilith often suffers from a lack of magic power, and Vasita's talent is exactly what's needed to replenish magic power.

Vasida was utterly flattered.

I was surprised to learn that the ability that came with my frequent hunger was actually so useful.

Moran and Sylph were also happy for her: "Breadfruit is so useful, let's pick more and store them just in case!"

"Yes!" Vasita, now refreshed and full of energy, replied.

This time, Lilith lit the lamp under the tree.

Three "monkeys" climbed up the tree to pick fruit.

The further you go into the woods, the more breadfruits you'll find on the trees.

Strings of breadfruit fell to the ground.

Seeing that she had picked quite a lot, Moran worried about wasting it and looked down at the tree: "Senior, how long can breadfruit last?"

“It will keep for a week at room temperature without any problem,” Lilith said. “Usually, one bunch at a time is enough to last about a week, but that’s for a typical little witch.”

Vasida's appetite could not be judged by normal standards.

Even she herself couldn't say for sure how much she needed to eat each day to maintain her energy levels.

“Then let’s pick as many as possible and store them in Vasita’s dorm. If we can’t carry them all, we can make a few more trips. Anyway, we don’t live far away,” Sylph suggested.

She was actually exhausted, but considering Vasita's unstable condition, she decided to persevere.

“Okay!” Moran said.

Hearing their words, Vasita pushed aside the leaves obscuring her face and peeked out from another tree:
"Well, I can just put it in my stomach! Excess energy will be stored and won't be wasted."

“That’s even better! Try filling your stomach completely!” Moran said.

The three little witches picked a large bunch of breadfruit, twelve bunches in total, sixty or seventy pieces.

These would be more than enough for an ordinary little witch to eat for two months, so they figured it should be about right and had Vasita start pretending.

She ate them one after another without stopping, and in no time, all the breadfruits on the ground disappeared.

The stomach in her hand still showed no signs of bloating.

"How is it? Can you still pretend?" Lilith asked.

Vasita took a moment to gauge the volume, then gestured with her hand: "About... I can fit five more of this."

"Five?" Lilith was stunned. "Can they really pull that off?"

Vasida nodded. She started picking again, picking sixty-three bunches before stopping.

This time, as they got to the back, Moran and the other two finally saw their stomachs slowly swell.

After stuffing the sixtieth skewer of breadfruit, my stomach was so full that there wasn't a single wrinkle left.

Vasita let out a burp: "I can't fit any more."

"That's equivalent to you storing a year's worth of food for an average little witch!" Moran exclaimed.

Lilith had been keeping a close eye on Vasita's condition: "Even with your stomach outside, you don't seem to have lost any magic power. You must have been replenishing it as you used it, right?"

"Hmm! I don't feel hungry for a while."

Vasita patted her bulging stomach, feeling an unprecedented sense of satisfaction: "Thank you so much for tonight!"

“Don’t mention it! While we witches strive for independence, we are absolutely willing to lend a helping hand to our companions!” Lilith waved her hand and said.

“We can’t just watch you wander into the breadfruit grove alone at night and faint in the woods!” Sylph said.

"Besides, the three of us didn't come away empty-handed!" Moran said, pointing to the remaining three bunches of breadfruit. "These are ours, and we won't need to come back to pick any more for the next week."

Vasita felt the kindness of her friends and volunteered, "I'll carry it!"

The three bunches of breadfruit, weighing several dozen pounds in total, looked much bigger than her, but Vasida picked them up with ease.

Moran and Sylph offered to help, but she wouldn't allow it. Holding onto the breadfruit tightly, she took off running out of the woods, saying as she ran, "I'm full, I'm full of energy!"

Lilith, who had intended to use levitation to help reduce her weight, silently withdrew her wand.

Let's let the young female student, who's like a bull in the calf, show her skills!
Moran and Sylph reluctantly followed.

A well-fed Vasita is full of energy, a stark contrast to a hungry Vasita.

When they reached the dormitory area, Moran and the others finally caught up with Vasita.

Before parting ways, Lilith remembered something and reminded Sylph and Vashida: "Remember to give your innate talents a cool name!"

"Name?" Sylph and Vasita asked, puzzled.

Lilith glanced at Moran.

Moran understood immediately.

“Mine is called the Bloodthirsty Needle!” Lilith held the syringe, smiled wickedly, and revealed dangerous fangs.

Moran also summoned his innate manifestation and, inspired by Lilith's appearance, came up with a signature pose for himself.

A gilded book floated in front of her, moving without wind: "Mine is called the Book of Cards!"

Sylph: "..."

What's so awkward about this?

"Wow! That's so cool!" Vasita's eyes lit up, and she clapped her hands. "Compared to that, my 'stomach' is so rudimentary! Hmm... what should I call it? Let me think... a stomach, its function is to digest food... 'Digestion' isn't a good word..."

After thinking for a short while, Vasida suddenly had a flash of inspiration: "I know! From today onwards, my innate manifestation will be called 'Devouring Stomach'!"

"Devouring stomach? Not bad, not bad at all. Just hearing that makes you sound formidable. Its domineering aura is on par with my Bloodthirsty Needle!" Lilith praised.

“That perfectly matches the characteristics of your stomach!” Moran said.

Now only Sylph is left.

"Sylph, what about you? Do you have any thoughts?"
