The Queen of Scrolls never admits defeat

Chapter 1035 Moran's Daily Life Raising a Child 2

The four houses are located side by side, with low fences in the front yards symbolically separating them to maintain independent entrances and private spaces, while the back yards are directly connected, forming a vast and free shared green space by the lake.

This enormous shared backyard was created by them through a joint spell.

Near Moran's house, the original simple fishing platform on the lake shore has been widened and reinforced, transforming into a spacious platform that combines fishing and sightseeing. A small and exquisite dock extends from the edge, with several cute little wooden boats and brightly colored children's pedal boats moored there, all in preparation for future water activities.

The original wooden pavilion next door, which has been preserved and slightly modified, has now become the "activity center" of the shared backyard. It is furnished with a long picnic table and comfortable chairs, making it a perfect place for outdoor dining, afternoon tea, or for mothers to chat.

Near Sylph's backyard, the grass was lush and green like a thick carpet, interspersed with a few low berry bushes laden with tempting fruit, and several fruit trees with outstretched branches casting comfortable shade.

This is the planned "Nature Picking and Exploration Area," where children can learn about plants and taste the fruits they pick themselves.

Further to the side, near Vasita's backyard, the ground was magically transformed into a small patch of soft, golden sand, next to which stood a whimsical yet safe climbing frame, a small slide, and a swing.

Some clean sand play tools were scattered in the sand.

At the very back, near Lilith's backyard, is a fairly large, crystal-clear swimming pool.

The pool water is precisely filtered and a temperature-regulating magic array maintains the most comfortable temperature and purity. There is a gentle slope leading into the water, as well as lounge chairs and parasols for resting.

The pool walls and bottom are painted with marine life patterns that change slightly with the water flow, creating a dreamlike atmosphere.

Moran has finished compiling the "Parenting Handbook," and everyone has studied and discussed it repeatedly. The theoretical knowledge is ready. Today is the day they agreed to set up the planting of the Witch Tree and the birthplace of the little witch.

Moran's residence in Cuixi Plain was ready. She strolled out of her backyard, through the picking area, and arrived at the back door of Vasida's house.

The door was ajar; she knocked lightly and then pushed it open to enter.

"You're back so soon?" Vasita was lounging lazily in a huge sofa in the living room, covered with soft animal hides, holding a thick, slightly frayed copy of "The Baby Care Handbook" in her hands.

Unlike others, she didn't specifically seek out a place with special childhood memories or beautiful scenery.

For her, the shores of Chunjian Lake were the best place.

Now all that's left is for everyone else to be ready so that they can plant the witch's tree together.

“Hmm.” Moran sat down next to her, the sofa so soft it was almost a sinking sink. “The {Mobile Residence Cards} were all pre-designed, and there’s plenty of open space in Cuixi Plain, so there’s hardly any need for extra cleaning.”

“I just put the special space planting pots in the front yard and that’s it!” Vasita smiled. “As for the interior decoration, I’ve pretty much got it done. The rest are just minor details.”

As the two were talking, a noise came from outside the door.

Lilith and Sylph have returned.

Lilith returned from the border between the Rose Sea and the Sunset Forest. She replanted her mutated hollow tree, but the interior decoration needed major improvements, and the special space planting pot was placed directly on the platform at the top of the tree.

Sylph returned to the depths of the Starlight Forest where she had lived in her childhood, but the forest was so dense that she had to carefully clear a space to place her dwelling.

"They're all back? Does that mean we can exchange for the Witch's Tree seed now?" Vasita slammed the book "Parenting Handbook" shut, leaping up from the sofa, her face beaming with anticipation. With ample theoretical knowledge, supplies, and the necessary space, everything was ready except for that seed that would mark the beginning of new life!
Upon hearing this, Sylph nodded solemnly.

She stretched out her hand, and the air above her palm rippled slightly, revealing a simple, antique-looking wooden box.

She was about to use her magic to condense the Witch's Tree seed from the Box of Myriad Seeds when Moran suddenly raised her hand and gently stopped her: "Wait!"

All three of them immediately focused their attention on her.

As the time came to prepare for planting the Witch Tree, Moran suddenly became a little nervous: "How about I use divination magic to choose an auspicious time to condense the Witch Seed?"

Vasita blinked: "I've never heard of having to choose a time to exchange for a Witch's Tree seed!"

"The outcome of the prophecy magic may be ambiguous, but it will never be wrong. Let's give it a try!" Lilith also hoped to choose the best time to welcome the witch tree seed.

Sylph felt this sense of caution was something she hadn't experienced when planting the Witch Tree, so she nodded in agreement.

Seeing that the three of them wanted to choose a better time, Vasita nodded in agreement: "Let's go! Hopefully, the time won't be too long apart!"

Moran closed his eyes, and his magic transformed into the power of destiny.

"I've got it." She breathed a soft sigh of relief, a satisfied smile appearing on her face. "The perfect time is within fifteen minutes before or after sunrise three days from now!"

“Three days later, at dawn?” Sylph murmured, her eyes shining. “At sunrise, all things awaken…it is indeed a wonderful time full of life.”

“Three days, just right!” Lilith nodded. “We can use this last bit of time to check our respective residences one last time and get ourselves into the best mental state. Let’s make sure everything is perfect.”

“Well, three days isn’t too long!” Vasita said.

Three days passed in a flash amidst methodical final preparations and ever-growing anticipation.

On the eve of the appointed day, they all slept well and maintained their abundant magical energy.

Early in the morning, they gathered in Vasita's living room.

Sylph summoned the Box of Myriad Things once more, and when the time was up, she infused it with magic.

A moment later, the box lid opened, revealing four vibrant original witch tree seeds lying quietly inside.

Sylph reached out and took out the four tree seeds one by one, handing them to Moran, Lilith, and Vasita, who were already waiting nearby, while keeping the last one for herself.

The original tree species are all exactly the same, and the witch mothers need to nourish them with exotic magic until they sprout before they can be planted.

The four carefully held their witch tree seeds, and without prior agreement, they transformed their magic into a different kind of magic to nourish them.

Other witches would need several days to nourish the primordial tree seed and get it to sprout, but these four high-ranking witches completed this step in minutes. (End of Chapter)
