The Queen of Scrolls never admits defeat

Lilith strained her waist, her arm muscles bulging slightly. Although witches are not known for their strength, she is a blood witch who has fused the blood of several physically powerful races such as dragons and titans. Wrestling with the underwater behemoth was a piece of cake for her.

The fishing rod bent under the strain, the mithril alloy groaning under its strain. Then, she suddenly pulled upwards with all her might, and with a deft flick of her wrist, the alchemical runes on the "Wave-Breaking Spiral Spear" lit up abruptly.

The seawater below suddenly burst open with a huge wave, and a massive black shadow was forcibly torn out of the deep sea.

The group had all learned the vampire's blood magic, Dark Vision, and could clearly see its eel-like streamlined body, covered in obsidian-like scales, with a ferocious head covered in sharp bone spikes and tentacles.

A giant mouth opened wide, revealing layers of spirally arranged sharp teeth, which were clamped tightly onto the net containing the bait.

Lilith's spiral spear, however, pierced deeply into the soft tissue near its head!
"It's a 'Shadow Sea Dragon Eel'! And a grown-up one at that!" Vasita exclaimed in surprise. "Its flesh is firm and chewy, rich in shadow and water elemental power, making it a top-quality ingredient for grilling and sashimi! The more it struggles, the more delicious its flesh becomes under stress!"

The Shadow Sea Dragon Eel was clearly enraged. It twisted its body wildly, trying to break free of the foreign object in its mouth. Its thick tail slammed against the sea surface, creating waves several meters high. The powerful force even made the flying carpet beneath Lilith's feet shake.

"That's about enough. If we keep going like this, the meat will start to turn sour."

Washida seized the opportunity, pulled out an inconspicuous little gadget from her pocket that looked like a spice grinder, and gently pressed it against the struggling sea eel.

A tiny, almost invisible clump of powder was propelled out by the wind elemental force and precisely entered the giant mouth of the sea dragon eel, which opened wide in its roar.

The next moment, the sea dragon eel's frenzied movements suddenly stopped, its wildly twisting body became limp and powerless, and the fierce light in its eyes was quickly replaced by a blank, as if intoxicated, dazed look.

It stopped struggling and simply floated on the surface of the sea by instinct, twitching slightly.

"What is this? It knocked it down in one go!" Sylph asked curiously.

“‘Seven-Colored Nightmare Powder’—just a tiny bit is enough to instantly plunge most creatures into the deepest ‘delicious coma’ state, completely relaxing their muscles and calmly containing their magical energy. It’s perfect for processing top-quality live seafood!”

As Vasita explained, she was already figuring out how to make the cut:
"The tenderloin of the Shadow Eel is the most succulent, its liver is a delicacy, and its skin is rich in collagen... Let's go, let's take it back to the island to process it!"
This thing is big enough for us to have a huge barbecue party, and the smell of blood and the commotion we just made might attract some other 'curious' guys..."

Lilith decisively switched the flying carpet under her feet back to the more agile flying broom form. With one hand firmly controlling the broom and the other hand pulling the tough fishing line, she dragged the unconscious Shadow Sea Dragon Eel and flew swiftly towards the island.

Moran, Vasita, and Sylph followed closely behind.

As the enormous sea monster's body was dragged onto the pristine white sand, its heavy form carved a deep and wide furrow into the fine sand, eventually becoming half-stranded near the tide line.

Vasita couldn't contain herself any longer. Before even landing, she put away her flying broom, plummeted to the ground, and quickly circled the behemoth once. Then, she took out her {Mobile Kitchen Card}, and a fully functional kitchen appeared on the beach.

The largest and heaviest silver-white kitchen knife in the kitchen automatically unsheathed with a "hum," gleaming coldly, and flew towards the fattest and most succulent part of the sea eel's neck, hovering above its scales. Just as the knife was about to fall, the previously calm sea surface suddenly began to churn violently as if boiling water.

Immediately afterwards, countless eerie lights, chilling to the bone, lit up the deep, inky black sea in the distance!

Red, green, blue, yellow... of varying sizes, flickering and shimmering, countless greedy eyes peered into the darkness at the shadowy sea eels on the beach.

"Boom! Boom! Boom!"

Several thick columns of water shot into the sky, exploding into a spray of water, accompanied by various hissing and roaring sounds, as several deep-sea monsters of different shapes suddenly burst out of the water from different directions.

"Tsk, they really know how to pick their timing!" Vasita paused.

"These unruly guys who disturb the chef, let us handle them!" Lilith's eyes gleamed with fighting spirit.

Vasita's gaze swept rapidly over the group of menacing sea monsters as she spoke at breakneck speed:
"To the left front, the 'hammerhead shark' charging at the very front has a piece of 'living flesh' three inches behind its gill cover, formed from years of high-speed swimming. It's incredibly tender and perfect for stir-frying over high heat!"

"On the right, that 'Armor Crusher Bug'! Don't let its ugly shell fool you, which looks like discarded slag. The muscles hidden beneath the shell are snow-white and delicate, rich in water element essence, and exceptionally sweet. If you stew a pot of it in soup, it will be so delicious it'll make your eyebrows fall off!"

"And then there's that 'Ghost Jellyfish King' that's sneaking around trying to sneak in... Its translucent umbrella-shaped part is crystal clear like top-grade ice, with a chewy and smooth texture. Whether it's served cold or made into magic crystal jelly, it's a wonderful appetizer!"
Be careful with the tentacles; they might contain paralyzing toxins, but if handled properly, they can be a valuable seasoning!

In an instant, she accurately identified three "high-quality ingredients" with the greatest culinary value from this group of ferocious deep-sea monsters, any one of which could wipe out an ordinary fleet!
"The Hammerhead Shark is mine!"

Lilith acted almost before she finished speaking. Holding the Wave-Breaking Spiral Spear, she rode the waves at breakneck speed and took the initiative to meet the Hammerhead Shark.

Just as the giant shark opened its massive jaws, filled with spiraling teeth, to bite down, her figure twisted strangely, and the spiral spear, with a piercing sound, pierced the hammerhead shark's relatively vulnerable eye at a tricky angle, penetrating straight into its brain.

The excruciating pain caused the giant shark to struggle wildly, but Lilith twisted her wrist, and the paralyzing runes on the spear instantly destroyed its central nervous system.

With a soft shout, she used one arm to lift the several-ton giant shark from the sea and violently flung it back onto the beach like a bag of junk, splashing up a shower of sand.

"I'll catch the armor-crushing bug! It'll be perfect for testing my newly bred 'strangler water vine'!"

Sylph was intrigued. She raised her right hand, palm up, and gently flicked out several dark-colored seeds. (End of Chapter)
