Chapter 1025 Moran's Laying-Down Daily Life 10
Little Leila compared her thighs, then looked up at Zizi, who was now much taller than her, and stared in surprise, her eyes widening and her mouth forming an "O": "Big Zizi?"
She walked half a circle around the enlarged Squeaky, looking it up and down curiously. "Squeaky, how did you suddenly become so big?"
Moran couldn't help but chuckle, and squatted down to explain to her, "Zhizhi is a high-level magical beast with some innate skills, and changing size is one of them!"
"Warcraft... can grow bigger?" Little Leila seemed to understand, but the concept of "growing bigger" clearly intrigued her. "Then... how big can it get? As big as this tree?"
She pointed to the huge hollow tree where they were.
Squeak immediately straightened her back: "Of course!"
"Wow—!" Little Leila's eyes instantly lit up with a light even brighter than when she was swinging on the swing. "I want to see! Sister Moran! I want to see Zizi grow to the biggest, biggest size! As big as a mountain!"
She grabbed Moran's hand and shook it, her little face filled with pleading, "Please, please!"
Moran looked at Zizi, who nodded excitedly, clearly eager to show off its "true skills" in front of Xiao Leila.
“Alright then, but we can’t transform near the treehouse, or we’ll break things. How about we go to the flower field outside?” Moran took Leila’s hand.
"it is good!"
Squeak jumped down from the treetop platform, its silver fur moving without wind, and its body began to expand at a visible speed, eventually becoming a head taller than the mutated hollow tree.
It lowered its head, its huge, still lively eyes looking at little Leila on the treetop platform, and let out a deafening roar: "How is it? Big enough?"
"Wow...so amazing!" Little Leila looked at it with utter admiration. "It really is as big as a mountain! Big Squeak is so cool!"
Moran gestured to Sentai, who immediately understood.
Several thick main vines quickly extend from its body, weaving and twisting nimbly along its broad, flat shoulders.
Soon, three sturdy, comfortable "vine chairs" with simple safety railings were completed, positioned perfectly on Squeak's shoulders, providing both safety and an excellent view.
"Would you like to sit up and take a look?" Moran asked Leila, looking down at her.
"Is it okay?!" Little Leila's eyes were filled with longing.
"Of course!"
Squeak reached out and helped them onto the seats.
"Squeaky, take us for a 'run' around the flower field! Be careful, don't go too fast," Moran said to Squeaky.
Squeak's enormous head nodded up and down, letting out a soft hum of understanding. Then, it turned around and started walking.
It walked briskly and steadily, and little Leila, sitting on Squeak's shoulder, felt as if she were truly "sailing on a sea of flowers".
On either side were walls of roses rushing by like pink waves, and above her was a clear blue sky. The wind carried a rich fragrance of flowers, eliciting gasps of amazement from her.
Wow! We're flying above the flowers!
A child's pure joy is always incredibly infectious. Watching little Leila wave and shout, her face flushed with excitement, Moran felt as if she were seeing herself for the first time when Zizi led her away.
We spent most of the day riding on the giant Squeak "parade" through a sea of roses with little Leila, even having a unique lunch on the Squeak's broad and stable shoulders. It wasn't until the afternoon sun became a bit scorching that the energetic little one finally started to droop her eyelids and drifted off to sleep.
Moran then carried her back to the mutated hollow tree.
Just as I settled the sleeping little Leila into her crib in the children's room and covered her with a blanket, the rattan communication bracelet on my left wrist began to vibrate gently.
She clicked on it, and Sylph's message popped up:
[Sylph: Are you there?]
[Sylph: I'm back!]
A hint of a smile flashed in Moran's eyes as she replied:
[Moran: I'm finally back! I'm in the rose garden outside Sunset Forest, here are my coordinates.]
She casually sent over the precise spatial coordinates of the mutated hollow tree.
The sound of Little Leila's even breathing came from upstairs. Zizi and Sentai spontaneously stayed in the children's room, one curled up on a soft cushion dozing off, and the other climbing along the wall.
Kaba sat silently to one side, checking the results of today's shooting.
Moran tiptoed downstairs, sat down by the window in the living room, took out a set of elegant white porcelain teaware and a small tin of tea from her card, and began to slowly brew tea.
Hot water is poured in, the tea leaves unfurl, and a refreshing aroma rises gently, blending with the natural woody scent inside the treehouse, bringing a sense of peace.
Just as the tea was brewed, a green figure rushed in through the door.
"Phew—! Finally back in Valencia! The air at home smells the best!" As soon as Sylph appeared, she threw herself into the soft sofa opposite Moran without any regard for appearances and let out a long sigh of relief.
She wore an elegantly tailored, natural-looking spring forest-themed witch's robe. The robe's main color was a variety of shades of green, creating a rich and layered effect, as if she were draped in a miniature, vibrant forest.
But what's even more eye-catching are her sparkling accessories: glittering dragon scale hair clips, gleaming gold necklaces, and colorful gemstone bracelets...
"What? Judging from your 'sparkly' outfit, you seem to be quite comfortable being a green dragon in the world of Thran?"
Moran pushed a cup of freshly brewed tea in front of her and teased her.
These sparkly, golden ornaments were something Sylph would never have worn before.
As a witch, if she truly disliked it, she wouldn't be affected to this extent by the green dragon bloodline.
Sylph picked up her teacup, gulped down a large mouthful, and then smacked her lips, saying, "Being a green dragon is nice, but the growth rate is too tedious! You have no idea, I've collected and cultivated all the known and unknown magical plant seeds on the Seran Continent, and I've only unlocked less than half of the dragon inheritance memories!"
Thanks to Lilith! She sampled and studied the blood of all the major branches of the dragon race, and created dragon blood fusion magic, which greatly accelerated the growth of our bloodline. Otherwise, I don't know how long I would have stayed in Thranlan!
Thranduil is a wonderful world, but Valen is our home. After being away for so long, we always long to return. Only when we're back can we truly find peace.
"Where are Lilith and Vasita? They should be back soon, right?" Moran asked upon hearing this.
"Yes, she should be back soon. Senior Tracy will probably stay in Thranth for a while longer," Sylph said with admiration.
"She also reverted to her ancestral form and became a high elf. Now she's quite something, having risen to become the dean of the Starshine Magic Academy, and is thriving in the cutting-edge magical research of the Star Elves!" (End of Chapter)
