Chapter 689 The Abandoned Palace
"This……"
Seeing this, Jiang Hua was also taken aback. He quickly said, "Quickly urinate on this thing; a boy's urine can ward off evil spirits."
Upon hearing this, Qin Feng disregarded everything else and quickly pulled down his pants, urinating on the monster corpses. As soon as his urine fell, his body regained its freedom.
But at this moment, a talisman suddenly appeared in Jiang Hua's hand. He then threw the talisman out, and with a loud bang, the talismans instantly exploded into flames.
The surroundings were illuminated, and Jiang Hua and Qin Feng finally breathed a sigh of relief.
Jiang Hua wiped the sweat from his forehead and said to Qin Feng, "That was close! We were almost controlled by this thing. I really don't know what's in there that has such terrifying pressure."
Jiang Hua looked around. The monster corpses had long since disappeared, but the soil at their feet was scorched black, clearly indicating that a violent explosion had occurred there. He just didn't know who had done it.
Looking at the mess here, Qin Feng couldn't help but sigh, wondering what secrets were hidden here and why there was such a terrifying pressure.
"Whatever's in here, let's get out of here first."
Qin Feng looked at Jiang Hua and said.
"Come on, let's move on."
The two continued on their way, not walking fast, because they knew there would be dangers ahead, so they needed to explore slowly to save time and reach their destination as soon as possible.
After walking for more than half an hour, a light suddenly appeared ahead, along with a very narrow corridor with stone walls on both sides.
The walls were covered with symbols that looked ancient. Some seemed to have existed on Earth as long as they existed, while others were left over from a distant era. This gave Qin Feng a sense of familiarity.
It seems that these are the same symbols they've seen along the way, but now they look quite different.
Jiang Hua was also a little puzzled when he saw this, because he realized that the feeling he had when he saw this symbol before was exactly the same as the feeling he had now.
Seeing Jiang Hua's expression and the confusion on his face, Qin Feng explained, "I think we've seen similar symbols somewhere before, but I don't recognize them."
"Could it be the legendary dragon race?" Jiang Hua suddenly asked.
"Dragon race?" Qin Feng was stunned for a moment, then shook his head and said.
"I don't know either, but judging from those monsters we just saw, they were definitely a very powerful group. Perhaps they were even dragons. Let's keep going and see what's inside."
Jiang Hua nodded, and then the two continued walking forward.
The further in he went, the lower the temperature became, and Jiang Hua found it difficult to breathe. He tightened his clothes and felt the cold around him. His face turned pale. The environment here was many times colder than outside.
Even with his internal energy protecting him, he felt somewhat uncomfortable from the cold.
Qin Feng was the same; his face was also very pale. However, he was quite tolerant. Although he also felt very cold, he did not react like Jiang Hua, which made him admire Jiang Hua's perseverance.
"Won't we die if we keep going like this?"
After walking for more than half an hour, another stone gate appeared ahead.
Jiang Hua and Qin Feng went forward and pushed the door, only to find that it didn't budge at all. This surprised them, because at this moment, their internal energy had been completely depleted, and their bodies were simply unable to withstand such high temperatures.
"It seems we have no choice but to resort to brute force."
Jiang Hua took a deep breath, then exerted force with both arms, but still couldn't push it open. However, he did notice some grooves on the stone door, and inside one of them, there seemed to be a sword stuck. "It seems there's some kind of mechanism inside."
Upon seeing this, Jiang Hua's heart stirred, and he reached out and pulled the sword stuck in the door.
After Jiang Hua drew the sword, he found that it was not sharp and was quite heavy. He held it in his hand and weighed it in his hand, finding it very light and not sharp at all, which surprised him.
“This sword is no ordinary sword,” Jiang Hua said to Qin Feng.
"What's wrong?" Qin Feng asked immediately when he saw Jiang Hua's expression.
"This sword must be a divine weapon; otherwise, it wouldn't be so hard. I estimate that the force I used just now could have cut through even steel."
As Jiang Hua spoke, he then held the sword in his hand and played with it for a while.
After listening to Jiang Hua's words, Qin Feng also examined the sword carefully and found that it was indeed extraordinary.
"Take this sword. I already have one, so I'll give you this one."
Jiang Hua thought for a moment and then said.
"How embarrassing."
Upon hearing Jiang Hua's words, Qin Feng immediately declined. He knew that Jiang Hua's sword was very precious, and if he accepted it, it would be a great favor. However, since Jiang Hua had already given it to him, it would be inappropriate to take it back.
"Don't be shy, your sword suits you very well."
Jiang Hua smiled and said to Qin Feng.
"Okay, thank you then, young man."
Seeing Jiang Hua's insistence, Qin Feng finally stopped being coy and put the sword away. At the same time, he secretly sighed that he was really lucky to have met such a kind young man.
He was extremely grateful that they even gave him their own sword.
Jiang Hua continued to observe the stone door. Since he had pulled out the sword, the grooves on it were now visible, and Jiang Hua could see them very clearly.
Looking at the groove on it, Jiang Hua frowned slightly. Then, an image appeared in his mind. He thought for a moment, then placed his hand on it and pressed it a few times. An image immediately appeared in front of him.
The scene depicted was an ancient tomb.
This ancient tomb appears to be an abandoned palace, the buildings inside of which have all collapsed, and in the very center of the tomb stands a statue.
The statue depicts a giant azure dragon, so lifelike that it seems as if a real dragon has descended to earth. Scattered around the statue's body are numerous luminous pearls.
It emitted a soft light, illuminating the area as if it were daytime. Next to the statue was a huge coffin, decorated with many strange patterns and emitting a faint red glow.
It looked very beautiful, and above the coffin hung bloody human heads, all of which were wearing various kinds of armor.
Each suit of armor was engraved with peculiar patterns. These heads looked like soldiers from some country, and the armor was all very new.
They were all clearly newly made, which left Jiang Hua feeling shocked after just one glance. (End of Chapter)
