The Wheel-Turning Master.

Chapter 350: Continuation

At the foot of Wanshou Mountain.

Kong Shu's black robe was torn, but his body had no wounds. He used his secret technique to burn off a lot of his lifespan. Now his strength was exhausted, his heart was dead, and he lay in front of the dead tree in a panic.

It took just over two quarters of an hour from the time the two men started fighting until Kong Shu was defeated.

Songhe Mountain and Wanshou Mountain were quiet, then one side became noisy and joyful, while the other side was filled with sorrow.

After a while, Kong Shuqiang took a deep breath, supported himself with his dry hands like chicken claws, and sat up, leaning against the dead tree.

His sparse white hair was scattered, his already fleshless face was now covered with dirt, and his cloudy eyes were lifeless.

Kong Shu leaned against a dead tree, took a breath, and looked around. He saw a crane-shaped jade pendant and a gold and silver double ring broken into several pieces, a corner of the Tianshu plate was missing, and the ice jade was broken into two pieces.

There were also many broken swords and various useless magic weapons, all scattered under the dead trees.

When he looked up, he saw Chen Zhiyuan holding a long sword, standing ten steps away. He had no pride in defeating a powerful enemy, nor did he have the aura of a high-level cultivator. His back was slightly hunched, as if he was carrying something.

But he raised his head and looked towards the sky, as if looking for something.

"I know what your inner sword is." Kong Shu squeezed out a voice from his old throat.

Upon hearing this, Chen Zhiyuan looked at Kong Shu, holding the hilt of his sword upside down, bowed, and said, "Brother Dao, you really pushed me into a desperate situation."

At this moment, Zou Mi and Chi Shangxing rushed over and landed in front of Kong Shu.

The treasures that they had cultivated for many years were broken, and they both turned pale with blood on their lips.

"Your Excellency is worthy of the name of a god. We are willing to admit defeat and let you do whatever you want. Please spare my brother's life." Chi Shangxing stepped forward and bowed heavily.

Chen Zhiyuan nodded slightly and said, "I am not here to kill."

Chi Shangxing and Zou Mi bowed to Chen Zhiyuan again, then turned around and knelt on both sides of Kong Shu. Chi Shangxing's eyes were bloodshot and he grabbed Kong Shu's hand; Zou Mi's eyes were filled with tears as he took out the pill and gave it to him.

"Defeat was already decided, it's just a matter of time." Kong Shu was not convinced. He leaned against a dead tree, looking at the sky. He saw a few white clouds coming near and far, peeking out. It was obvious that they wanted to get closer to take a look, but were afraid of being plotted against.

"People have lofty ambitions, but luck is the only way to achieve them. Chen Zhiyuan is their luck." Kong Shu's withered and embarrassed face actually had a smile on it, but there was no flesh on his face, only dry old skin, which made him look a little scary. "Last time, Jiang Xingchi asked for a fight, wanting a dignified victory. Now the situation is set, and I am going to die soon, so the only way is to seek peace."

Upon hearing this, Chi Shangxing and Zou Mi both lowered their heads in shame.

"If we let you stay, what will happen in the future?" Kong Shu asked.

Chi Shangxing and Zou Mi did not answer, but looked sideways at Chen Zhiyuan.

Chen Zhiyuan had originally come to listen out of curiosity, but when he saw the two men were so on guard, he turned around with his sword held upside down.

"The gods disdain these petty intrigues, just keep talking." Kong Shu said.

Chi Shangxing and Zou Mi naturally agreed with this statement. With Chen Tianren's demeanor, he was definitely not comparable to someone like Jiang Xingchi who spoke without thinking and engaged in scheming.

Chi Shangxing knelt beside Kong Shu, clenched his fists, and whispered: "A hidden dragon lies in the abyss, waiting for the right time to move. Gather strength, endure and hide your name."

Kong Shu sat against a dead tree, looking at the sky in the distance, nodded slightly, then looked at Zou Mi and asked, "Where is Mi'er?"

Zou Mi, however, lowered his head, remained silent, and did not dare to look at Kong Shu. He just held Kong Shu's hand tightly.

"I understand." Kong Shu sighed, took out a wooden box, and tremblingly handed it to Chi Shangxing, saying, "Give it to Jiang Xingchi. He is cunning but honest, and will never kill again."

Seeing that Kong Shu had already made arrangements, Chi Shangxing and Zou Mi clearly had a plan for the way to Shoutian Pavilion, they both couldn't help but sob on Kong Shu's body.

"I have fought all my life since I entered the Tao, but scheming and scheming cannot stop the mighty trend. Now that I have heard the Tao, there is no need to stay for long." Kong Shu's turbid eyes gradually dimmed.

The sky was clear after the battle, with white clouds scattered in the distance and cranes flying slowly by.

Kong Shu struggled to push Zou Chi and the other man away, supported himself with his back against a dead tree, pressed his hands on the ground, and moved slowly.

Chi Shangxing and Zou Mi didn't understand what he meant, so they asked, but Kong Shu didn't answer.

After a while, the old body in tattered clothes finally stopped, leaning against a dead tree, facing the northwest. His cloudy eyes seemed to have become brighter. One hand tightly held Chi Shangxing, and the other hand was raised as if to grab something.

"A few lonely winds and moons, the stars and frosts change frequently. The sea is vast and the mountains are far away, I don’t know where my hometown is." Kong Shu murmured, and gradually his voice became soft and silent.

Chi Shangxing and Zou Mi could no longer bear it and knelt on the ground.

Chen Zhiyuan held up the long sword, stretched out his finger and lightly stroked the blade, saying: "This sword follows me everywhere. It is the sword of survival. Brother Kong is also for survival. Now that this sword has witnessed the style of the high cultivators outside the domain, there should be no regrets."

As he spoke, the sword in his hand made a series of noises and fell in front of the dead tree, sinking half a foot into the ground. The hilt of the sword was still shaking.

At this moment, the excited voices of the Northern Expedition Allied Forces rose one after another, but Wanshoushan could not stop sobbing, and his grief and indignation surged to the sky.

“Inside and out, he is unparalleled. If I hear the truth in the morning, I can die in the evening.” Jiang Xingchi, wearing a black and white chess-patterned Taoist robe, put one hand behind his back and twirled his beard with the other, looking at the dead tree at the foot of Wanshou Mountain in the distance.

Standing behind him were Jing Situi, Shi Qingyu and Jiang Xiaobai. The three of them were also stunned and speechless for a long time.

Xiuxiu looked into the distance and saw the fox standing up with its feet on her head, looking at her, even forgetting to wag its tail.

"I always thought that I had overestimated little... Chen Tianren, but I never thought that I had underestimated him. He deserves the title of Tianren." The fox sighed endlessly.

"Is that old thief Kong dead? I feel like I've escaped from a cage." Du Jueming asked.

"You have long legs, go and take a look," said the fox.

Du Jueming sneered and ignored the fox.

The excited sounds on both sides of Songhe Mountain lingered for a long time, and there were several vortexes of spiritual energy. It was obvious that someone was taking advantage of the opportunity of the Nascent Soul Battle to become an apocalypse and wanted to advance and climb up.

"Brother Lihuo and his companions perished in front of this mountain. Now that new trees have sprouted, it is finally time to stop the war."

Seeing someone building a foundation, Jiang Xingchi sighed, "I have traveled many times and experienced many difficulties. Now I have borrowed Chen Tianren's sword to flatten Wanshou Mountain. Looking back, I feel that today is not easy to come by."

He turned around, looked at Jing Situi, and said, "Situi, you have worked so hard this time. But there are still bumps on the road ahead, and the way to heaven is uncertain. Are you still willing to stay with me?"

A sneer was heard, and the fox's tail swung, "If you want to accept a disciple, just say it directly! Why are you beating around the bush? I think you really want to eat up Jiuzha Mountain..." Before he could finish his words, the fox was held down by Xiuxiu and Huang Ruhua.

Jing Si Tui was not moved by external things, he immediately knelt down and said: "Master, please accept my disciple's greetings!"

Jiang Xingchi smiled and stroked his beard, looking very satisfied.

Seeing this, Wu Muqian, who was trying to get close to Zhu Jianyang in the distance, opened his mouth, seemed hesitant, then gritted his teeth, stomped his feet, hurriedly ran to Jing Shitui, and knelt down side by side.

"When I first met you, I felt like a great awe-inspiring person and wanted to learn from you..." Wu Muqian cried and kowtowed, mumbling incoherently.

Jing Situi had just stood up when he couldn't get a word in. He was a worldly-wise man, but he was a little dazed at the moment.

Jiang Xiaobai held his forehead and turned away. Wang Yueying frowned and watched, with disdain and a bit of envy on her face.

"Fellow Daoist Wumuchun and I hit it off right away, and you are no stranger." Jiang Xingchi lifted his sleeves to help Wumuqian up, saying, "Since you are interested, then follow me from now on." "Thank you, Master, for taking me in!" Wumuqian kowtowed again and again, and turned to Jing Situi and knelt down, "Senior Brother, please accept my respects."

Jing Situi quickly returned the greeting and said some nonsense about how brothers don't need to be polite and that they should support each other in the future.

"Alright." Jiang Xingchi stopped the new brothers and warned them, "Si Tui, take him down and take care of the formation. Keep the younger generation under control and don't let anything mess up."

Jing Situi immediately accepted the order and retreated with the crying Wu Muqian.

Gu Yao watched coldly, and suddenly an idea came to her mind. She approached Gu Qingshui and whispered, "Grandmaster, Lin Zhuanlun is quite talented, and he has made some contributions in the Northern Expedition. He is not an outsider, so why not take him a step closer, Grandmaster, and accept him as your disciple?"

"He once inherited a part of the Taoist Master Wuxiang. How dare I be his disciple?" Gu Qingshui refused.

Gu Yao lowered her eyebrows, clenched her fists, and looked for Miaomiao and Jiang Yu with great grievance.

"How's things going, Brother Xiang?" Gu Qingshui looked at Jiang Xingchi.

"Karma has also arrived." Jiang Xingchi looked at the peak of Wanshou Mountain from afar, "I will be able to pass it soon."

Gu Qingshui fell silent upon hearing that. Fox, Old Ancestor Yang, and even Du Jueming all looked towards Wanshou Mountain.

At this moment, Lin Bai was in the ruined attic, holding Pei Ning's hand, and looking towards the dead tree under Wanshou Mountain.

This battle was too shocking. Kong Shu had a method of confinement, which seemed to be able to trigger rules and laws, and then rule the world. Chen Tianren broke it with the most true and pure sword, and finally he was able to transform himself into Taoism and break the law by borrowing the will of all things. He really deserved the name of Tianren.

"Brother Mo, I once imitated Chen Tianren's Pure Sword and achieved some success. But now it seems that Chen Tianren actually uses two swords at the same time. What is the other sword?" Lin Bai asked curiously.

Mo Yingcheng spread his hands, "I'm not a sword cultivator, and Master never mentioned that." He nodded his chin towards Pei Ning and said with a smile, "It won't be me who will inherit Master's legacy in the future."

Pei Ning said nothing, but just looked up at a few lonely clouds in the sky.

"I just hope that after the matter here is settled, I can seek advice from the Heavenly Being in person." Lin Bai had a vague feeling in his heart, and thought that he could also be like Chen Tianren, with the sword divided into yin and yang, and the Tao divided into yin and yang.

"How did Master cultivate?" Li Wusheng put his hands on his hips, full of curiosity and yearning, with admiration and respect on his face.

No one answered for a moment, I just felt that the differences between people were too great.

"The sword is divided into the inside and outside, and one sword represents one great way." Suddenly, someone spoke behind him in a heavy and vast voice.

The four turned around to look, only to see a man in a black robe and black hair standing with his hands behind his back. He was as majestic and unyielding as an ancient figure, and he was looking at the Wanshou Mountain in the distance.

Mo Yingcheng and the other four immediately bowed and saluted, "To the ancestor."

Xiang Wuhui looked at the top of Wanshou Mountain, as if he had passed through mountains and rivers, and said: "My destiny is to be a rusty sword. The rust is the surface, and the sword is the inside. Chen Zhiyuan, with his innocent heart, transformed the rust into a true and pure sword. This is the surface. Then the sword's heart became clear, penetrating the heaven and earth, and he took himself as the way, becoming the king."

After saying this, Lin Bai and the others fell into deep thought and remained silent.

The protective formation of Songhe Mountain in the distance was no longer visible. The same was true on Wanshou Mountain, where the sound of mournful cries broke through the clouds.

The grief expressed was by no means false, which showed that Kong Shu was dead.

Xiang Wuhui didn't even look in the direction of the dead tree, he just looked up at the Longevity Mountain and said, "Chen Zhiyuan borrowed the treasure of the Three Yuanying and a wisp of the remaining power of the Incarnation God to build a sword tomb for you. It is vast and murderous, which is in line with your destiny. However, the sword tomb is backed by the people who lost their way in Shoutian Pavilion, and the cry is too sad; and it also inherits Kong Shu's homesickness and thoughts of survival, so it lacks the spirit of forging ahead."

As he spoke, he took out a sword and said, "Chen Zhiyuan took great pains to leave a sword for you at the sword tomb. I will lend you a helping hand! This sword is what I used when I was in the Nascent Soul stage. I hope you can gain some of the spirit of perseverance and never give up!"

The long sword in Xiang Wuhui's hand suddenly flew out and headed towards the dead tree.

Xiang Wuhui also took a step forward. He did not even look in the direction of the dead tree, and had no curiosity about Kong Shu, who was practicing a similar avenue. He did not even listen to his last words before his death, and went straight to the top of Wanshou Mountain.

When he passed the dead tree, it was probably the closest they had ever been to each other in their lives, but one of them had died at the bottom of the mountain, while the other was heading for the top.

The sword surged and pierced into the dead tree with irreversible force, and landed beside Kong Shu.

This sword seemed to have not been used for a long time. It was buried in the ground for more than a foot, but it seemed to have existed there forever. It was several steps away from Chen Zhiyuan's sword, on either side of the dead tree.

Chi Shangxing looked up at the dark figure flying to the top of Wanshou Mountain. Zou Mi's eyes were blank, and he just tightly held Kong Shu's dry hand.

Soon, four people came closer. Mo Yingcheng and his wife and Lin Bai bowed to Chen Zhiyuan, while Pei Ning knelt down to pay his respects.

"Brother Kong is a man of extraordinary talent. You should go and pay him a visit." Chen Zhiyuan said.

Lin Bai and the other three obeyed and stepped forward to pay homage to Kong Shu's remains.

Then, several beams of light were seen coming from Wanshou Mountain, which were the golden elixirs of Shoutian Pavilion.

Four white clouds floated over from the sky, and four people including Yun Wujiu from Yunxia Sect, Zhu City Lord from Tianhuo City, Zheng Yehe from Jiuyin Mountain, and Gu Cangsong from Guyang Sect fell down.

There was a light escaping from Songhe Mountain. It was Jiang Xingchi, Du Jueming, and Meng Shanhe, an old friend of Zhou Huishan.

A green light fell on Lin Bai's head. It was Fairy Chen Yu.

All the Yuanyings were silent. They first bowed to Kong Shu's remains, but Meng Shanhe did not move.

"Fellow Daoist Jiang." Chi Shangxing stood up, holding the wooden box in his hand, "Senior Brother left some relics and asked me to present them to you."

Jiang Xingchi took it and took a quick look at it, and realized that the wooden box was imprisoned by a strange formation. After a little thought, he took out a black chess piece and placed it on the wooden box. Seeing that there was no movement, he changed to a white piece.

The wooden box was opened, and inside was a scroll of animal skin paper.

Jiang Xingchi took it and looked at it, then put it away and said to Chi Shangxing and Zou Mi, "Please ask Senior Sister Zou to go back to Wanshou Mountain and take charge, and don't let the disciples get restless. Senior Brother Chi, please follow us to the main hall of Songhe Mountain for a chat."

Chi Shangxing and Zou Mi looked at each other and nodded in agreement.

The Yuanyings came and went quickly. Chi Shangxing left with Jiang Xingchi, and Zou Mi no longer had the same sentiment as before when he and Gu Qingshui were arguing with each other.

A wisp of fire popped out and landed on Kong Shu. Zou Mi knelt down again and bowed, then took his disciples back to Wanshou Mountain.

Chen Zhiyuan nodded to Pei Ning, stepped onto the clouds, and headed towards the top of Wanshou Mountain.

Mo Yingcheng and Li Wusheng didn't say much and returned to Songhe Mountain.

Under the dead tree, there were countless broken swords and various magical weapons scattered around, many of which were still covered with dust and blood.

The swords left by Chen Zhiyuan and Xiang Wuhui were already worn out, and the three Yuanying treasures of Shoutian Pavilion were all shattered.

Kong Shu's remains turned into ashes, which were blown away by the mountain wind and buried in the dust.

"This master is really amazing. Other masters are kind and their disciples are filial, but why is my disciple always disobedient?" The fox sat on Lin Bai's head and sighed.

"He has his master..." Before he could finish his words, the fox's tail wrapped around Lin Bai's neck and headed towards Songhe Mountain.

At this time, the sun was setting in the west. Pei Ning sat cross-legged under a dead tree. In the distance, he could hear the faint cries of cranes and the howls of monkeys, which sounded solemn and desolate.

Looking up at Wanshou Mountain, I saw the dusk, the clouds were flying, and the scenery was all on the dangerous peaks. (End of this chapter)
