Chapter 1 Daenerys
"I saw it! I saw it! I am a real dragon!" Amid the thunder, Dany's buzzing ears vaguely heard Viserys's terrified screams, mixed with unusual excitement and enthusiasm, "The dragon has three heads! The dragon has three heads! I awakened the dragon!"

Dany opened her eyes dazedly and saw that Viserys had climbed up from the bed next to her, screaming and stumbling towards the porthole. Like a mad drunkard, she pushed open the tightly closed small window like a madman and let the heavy rain pour in and hit her body.

It was raining heavily outside the porthole, with thunder and occasional white lightning streaking across the sky, illuminating Viserys who looked like a madman in the small cabin.

Dany finally woke up, her head dizzy and at a loss.

A beam of white light poured into the window.

After the terrifying lightning, there was a huge thunder. Dany could not open her eyes under the lightning. Her ears were filled with a huge roar, which seemed to be mixed with a hideous tearing sound and Viserys's painful howl that suddenly stopped.

The buzzing sound after the thunder kept ringing in my ears.

Daenerys' eyes were stung by the lightning and tears kept flowing.

When Dany gradually recovered, she opened her eyes in a daze. For a moment, she felt like she was in a dream. The small merchant ship cabin was nowhere to be found, and Viserys was nowhere to be seen. She found herself on top of the clouds, with huge golden thunderstorms rising around her, flames and frost falling from the sky, and above the higher sky, there was a roaring, rolling cloud, filled with endless thunder and lightning, and a huge three-headed beast hovering there.

The three heads of the giant beast were strange and hideous, and each had one eye. As if it sensed Dany's gaze, the three-headed monster slowly turned its head, and its three eyes like furnaces met her gaze.

"what!"

Dany exclaimed.

With this scream, Dany's eyes suddenly went white. Her eyes gradually focused and she found herself back in the small merchant ship cabin, and her brother Viserys was lying on the floor beside the porthole, his life or death unknown.

For a moment, Dany couldn't tell whether this was reality or a dream, until the storm poured in through the narrow porthole, the rain splashed on her cheeks, and the cold was biting, she finally panicked and realized that Viserys seemed to have been struck by lightning.

Dany hurriedly climbed off the bed and approached Viserys. During the process, she was knocked down by the ship sailing in the storm, but she didn't care. She crawled towards Viserys on all fours, brushed away the wet hair from his face, and reached out her trembling fingers to his nose.

Only when she confirmed that Viserys was still breathing did Dany finally feel relieved.

“@#¥#¥¥%#%#%%”

A hoarse sound suddenly came from Viserys' throat.

Dany was startled and hastily climbed away from Viserys. She retreated to the corner of the cabin and looked back with her neck trembling. She found that Viserys was just mumbling and not awake, so she climbed up again and moved closer.

Dany tried hard to make out what Viserys was mumbling, but found that she could not understand it at all. Viserys was muttering some strange words that Dany could not recognize. It was neither the Common Speech, nor the daily language of the Free Cities, nor Valyrian.

Dany was confused for a moment.

There were scattered footsteps outside the door, followed by the sound of the door being broken open.

"What happened? An assassin?"

A sturdy, beardless man pushed the door open and saw the situation in the cabin. He immediately drew his sword, let out a shrill cry, and looked around vigilantly.

The noise outside grew louder and louder. Dany wanted to say something, but she couldn't form any words. She just lowered her head and sat timidly beside Viserys without saying a word.

Soon, the man restored order and confirmed that there were no assassins, and the owner of the merchant ship, Illyrio Mopatis, arrived at the scene.

"Miss Daenerys, what happened here?"

Illyrio, a fat man with a greasy, forked yellow beard and jagged yellow teeth, asked quietly to the frightened Dany.

Although Illyrio's eyes were filled with concern, Dany avoided looking at him. When she first met the wealthy governor of Pentos, the greedy look on his face frightened the sensitive Dany. So she could only respond weakly, "Brother. He. I don't know."

Until now, she still couldn't tell whether what she saw when she woke up was real or a dream.

Illyrio had a serious expression on his face and asked seriously what happened.

"I don't know." Dany tried to organize her words, but her words were intermittent. "I fell asleep. When I was awakened by thunder, I saw my brother walked to the window like he was drunk. Then there was lightning. No, I, I don't know."

As Dany spoke, she began to sob quietly.

Dany was a sensitive person. Although Illyrio was sincere, she still sensed a hint of impatience in his brows.

So she lowered her voice: "I saw my brother walk to the window, and then there was a loud thunder. Then he fainted."

She did not mention the crazy talk she heard while half asleep, the white lightning pouring in through the porthole, or the hallucinations she saw. She didn't know if Illyrio understood.

But fortunately, the other party soon stopped asking questions and only stepped forward to check Viserys's breathing, then said: "He just fainted. Put him back on the bed and call the ship's doctor."

Then, Illyrio dismissed the noisy crowd: "What are you all doing here? Get out!"

The ship's doctor arrived in a hurry, and after a professional examination, he found that the patient had no scars on his body, he was just temporarily unconscious and had some fever symptoms. So the well-trained ship's doctor performed a simple bloodletting on the patient, and fed him a dose of expensive pain-relieving flower milk medicine, which made the patient fall into a deep sleep.

"How is he? Is he all right?" Illyrio asked.

The ship's doctor was a little nervous: "Um, it should be, Governor."

Illyrio frowned. "Should?"

The ship's doctor lowered his head: "Uh, yes, Governor."

Illyrio was silent for a while, then he exhaled deeply, "Go down."

The ship's doctor was as if he had been pardoned: "Yes, Governor."

In the small cabin, Illyrio and the doctor were talking back and forth, while little Dany stood in the corner, saying nothing.

Illyrio was in a bad mood and didn't say anything more. After sending the ship's doctor away, he didn't stay for long. He just comforted Dany, "It's just a slight fever. Don't worry. Go to bed early." Then he led his men away.

For a moment, Dany and the sleeping Viserys were the only ones left in the small cabin.

It was only at this moment that Dany began to feel scared.

In a trance, she recalled the death of Ser William. At that time, she didn't understand anything until she was driven out of the house with the red door in Braavos and lived with Viserys in hunger, hiding, wandering, full of fear, helplessness and powerlessness.

Just now, for a moment, she was afraid that Viserys was dead.

Although after selling his mother's crown to survive, Viserys gradually slipped into madness, and often treated her badly in private during fits of rage, screaming and kicking her when she got angry for no reason.
But Viserys was her only family.

After a series of emotional ups and downs, Dany suddenly became quiet. Unable to stop herself from thinking about all sorts of random things. Her illogical thoughts drifted away, and she fell asleep without realizing it.

"Sigh~"

The tingling sensation in her fingers woke Dany up, and she subconsciously wanted to pull her hand back.

But a big hand held her hand, strong and powerful.

"Don't move." It was Viserys' voice, with a tone that brooked no refusal.

Dany didn't dare move.

Then, Dany felt a tingling sensation on her fingers, and when she realized that the other person was licking her fingers with his tongue, she was stunned.

When Dany opened her eyes, Viserys had released her hand and lowered himself onto the bed across the small cabin.

Dany looked over blankly. Viserys was frowning, with inexplicable sadness in his purple eyes and disappointment on his pale and haggard face.

Dany saw blood on his lips, her blood, so she didn't dare to look closely. She lowered her head timidly and asked in a soft voice, "What's wrong? Are you okay?"

Viserys looked at her with his pale face without any blood. "It's okay." As he spoke, he stood up and straightened his clothes. "You continue to sleep. I'll go out for some fresh air." After he finished speaking, he walked out without waiting for Dany to respond.

Dany was surprised for a moment. Viserys's attitude was beyond her comprehension.

When she looked over just now, she clearly noticed that Viserys was also avoiding her gaze.

This is unprecedented performance.

She felt vaguely that she had caught something, and looked down at the finger that had been licked before, and found that there was a small cut on the tip of the finger, and bright red blood was oozing out from it.
