Chapter 931 The Mind Monkey King

Chapter 931 The Mind Monkey King

"It should be said that when your Dao Fruit power is manifested outwardly, it leans towards these few concepts."

Chu Tai's answer clearly did not satisfy Sun Wukong. He pointed at the [Rebellious Demon King (Mischievous Monkey King)] and said, "Freedom, perception, change, and flow are fine, but what about rebellion and erosion? Especially that rebellion, even resistance would be better!"

"Have you forgotten how long you fought against the Heavenly Demon back then?"

Chu Tai countered with a question, which startled Sun Wukong, who asked, "Do I still have any left on me?"

"It's not that it's preserved; rather, it seems to me that your Dao Fruit has eroded some of the Heavenly Demon's power."

As Chu Tai spoke, he carefully observed the power of the [Rebellious Demon King (Mischievous Monkey King)].

Whether it's the "Rebellious Demon King" or the "Mischievous Monkey King," their core authority is "freedom"—a freedom that originates from the mind.

The remaining [sensation], [change], [flow], [reversal], and [erosion] are essentially external manifestations of his spiritual freedom.

Its power of "freedom" allows the mind to break through its own limitations, easily influencing the physical body to the point of endless transformation. It can also sense the structure and operational laws of the Dao and principles within a certain range, and then exert influence to make it "flow" and become less solid. Then, it can apply "change" to make it transform in the direction it desires.

This is the core of the Dao Fruit of the [Anti-Heaven Demon King], centered on [freedom], combined with the concepts of [sensing], [change], and [flow]. It represents a confrontation with the existing order and, to a certain extent, a disruption of the existing rules.

But in essence, its operating rules are still within the existing order, and its rebellious behavior may even have some benefits for the reconstruction of the order.

In contrast, the spiritual freedom of the "Mischievous Monkey King" leans towards ambition, and the concepts it grasps are biased towards "sensing," "flow," "rebellion," and "erosion."

By perceiving the existence of the laws governing the universe, then using [flow] to shake its stability, then using [disorder] to destroy its inherent nature, and finally using [erosion] to occupy the corresponding order, making it impossible to recover and creating a void in the order.

Compared to the [Rebellious Demon King], the power of the [Chaotic Monkey King] is more chaotic and uncontrollable.

But Chu Tai saw another possibility in it, a possibility that could help him.

Furthermore, with the perfection of the third-grade Dao Fruit [Rebellious Demon King (Mischievous Monkey King)], the third-grade Dao Fruit [Kinghood] under the Demon Saint system has also undergone certain changes. In addition to imitating the human order, the underlying principle also includes a method to reconstruct order through rebellion and defiance.

To put it dramatically, the fourth-grade [Gathering Crowd] of the Demon Saint Dao Fruit system can be promoted to the third-grade Dao Fruit [Rebellious Demon King] of the Sun Wukong Dao Fruit system.

Along with the "Claiming King" achievement, the third-grade Dao Fruit of the Demon Immortal system, "Attaining the Dao," was also perfected. Its corresponding second-grade Dao Fruit, stimulated by the "Rebellious Demon King (Mischievous Monkey King)," revealed part of its essence and was named "Demon Immortal."

Originally, Chu Tai didn't see anything special about the Dao Fruit of "Attaining the Dao." To put it bluntly, it was just a manifestation of the concept of demons encompassed by the Dao of Immortality, and it was quite mediocre in all aspects. The only noteworthy thing was that it contained a part of the concept of "Immortal." But now, the revealed "Demon Immortal" is the highest position in the entire Demon Immortal Dao Fruit system. At the same time, it is also a system in which the Dao of Immortality completely encompasses the concept of demons, and it is also a major expansion of the Dao of Immortality system.

However, the formation of the [Demon Immortal] is somewhat difficult. Chu Tai can sense that the Demon Dao Fruit system, the Demon Saint Dao Fruit system, and the Sun Wukong Dao Fruit system all strongly resist the formation of this Dao Fruit. It can even be said that the formation of the [Demon Immortal] was actually forced out by these three Dao Fruit systems.

Finally, the demonic Dao Fruit system did undergo subtle changes, but not in a bad direction; rather, it moved in a good direction. It seemed that the [disorder] and [erosion] brought about by Sun Wukong's Dao Fruit had, to some extent, alleviated the pressure on the demonic system.

'At this rate, I might be able to further refine the demon system in the future, pushing it to the fourth or even third rank.'

As Chu Tai pondered this, the flowing light in his hand continued to absorb the Dao Fruit aura from Sun Wukong's body, and slowly a phantom-like second-grade Dao Fruit appeared in his palm.

Sun Wukong (the Monkey King)

Although this Dao Fruit is illusory and cannot be realized, Chu Tai and Sun Wukong did sense the principles within it.

The concept of "freedom" has been further expanded, as has the power of "mind," and it also encompasses the concepts of "sensing" and "flow," enabling him to influence anything he can "perceive" and cause it to begin to flow.

The difference between Sun Wukong and the Monkey King is that Sun Wukong retained his physical body but gained the ability to transform into countless forms.

At the same time, perception is greatly enhanced, enabling one to discern principles, know the past and future, understand the timing of events, and be aware of the advantages of the land. The concept of flow can also directly influence all things, causing changes in originally fixed phenomena. Externally, this manifests as shifting stars and changing constellations, carrying mountains and chasing the moon; internally, it manifests as following celestial phenomena and being able to control the size of things as desired.

Most powerfully, every hair on its body is covered by its mind, expanding from the finite to the infinite. Each hair can be seen as part of itself, and as long as a single hair remains, its life is never extinguished.

The Mind Monkey King abandons his physical body and becomes the embodiment of the Mind. With the authority of Freedom as its core, he makes his self-awareness, the Self, independent of Heaven and Earth, ignoring all material and non-material influences.

At the same time, the power of [flow] allows its [heart] to not be confined to itself, but to roam within and beyond the world, constantly communicating with its [heart], and ultimately reaching the state of an immortal heart and an indestructible spirit. Even in death, as long as its heart does not fall, it can return from death.

'The Mind Monkey King, seemingly centered on freedom, has actually shifted towards the realm of the mind, and his understanding of concepts likely includes elements of rebellion and erosion, primarily originating from the Victorious Fighting Buddha. Sun Wukong, on the other hand, retains freedom while incorporating transformation and the mind, further encompassing perception and flow—this is the concrete manifestation of Sun Wukong's Dao fruition…'

Chu Tai pondered silently, realizing that this Dao Fruit was also of great reference value to him now.

In particular, the concepts of "freedom," "mind," "change," and "flow" are included.

Furthermore, the performances of Sun Wukong and the Mind Monkey King greatly helped Chu Tai in exploring his own Taiyi Dao and in paving the way for the subsequent reunification of Heaven and Man.
