Chapter 825: The Three Buddhas’ Precepts, Concentration, and Wisdom
Chapter 825: Three Buddhas’ Precepts, Concentration, and Wisdom
The spiritual charm of both the Bodhi seed and the three-grade golden lotus is not particularly strong. The spiritual charm of a single Bodhi seed is slightly inferior to that of a three-thousand-year-old peach, and the spiritual charm of the three-grade golden lotus is slightly inferior to that of a six-thousand-year-old peach.
It might be a good thing in the human world, but it would seem a bit shabby in the Heavenly Palace, especially at the Peach Banquet in the Jade Pool.
However, none of the immortals, Buddhas, and gods in the Heavenly Palace thought that there was anything wrong with the two offering this item, because their cultivation had surpassed ninety-nine percent of the beings present, and even the Queen Mother was far inferior to them.
Only the Emperor of Heaven, the Lord of the Heavenly Palace, can suppress them, but it is only one-on-one. If it is one-to-two, the outcome is unpredictable.
The Emperor of Heaven whispered, "I never thought that the two immortals Jie Yin and Zhunti would appear between heaven and earth. In addition to the fellow Taoist who opened up a new path for sentient beings some time ago, I never thought that this catastrophe would lead to three fellow Taoists. Will the last one come out to meet us?"
Chu Tai ignored the words of the Emperor of Heaven. His purpose in this world was to explore the power of Taiyi Zhenjun, to successfully pass through this time period, enter the next time node, and finally find the trace of the Emperor of Heaven who had become a fairy. He had no interest in the Emperor of Heaven in this world.
In other words, compared to the Lord of Heavenly Palace, Chu Tai is now more interested in the Bodhi seeds and the third-grade golden lotus.
'Why does this thing have some traces of the power of Tathagata Buddha, and it seems to be the product of the disassembly and reorganization of the Three Buddhas system...'
Chu Tai also mastered some of the power of Tathagata Buddha.
Even the Donghuang Bell contains the power of the Tao fruit of the past, present and future Buddhist systems.
The past Buddhist system's [compassion], [purity], [asceticism], [cessation] and [meditation] are based on one's own mind, or a power called "precepts". This is very clear when it comes to [asceticism], the seventh level of the path and fruit fragment in this system.
Gain the power of vows. By establishing vows, you can obtain various blessings. If you give up the vows, the blessings you have obtained will disappear.
This is the embodiment of "precepts", which is essentially to purify the body and mind, remove greed, anger, ignorance and other troubles by following the precepts (vows), and constantly strengthen the power of one's own mind.
Chu Tai had also deduced the fourth-grade Dao fruit fragment of this system a long time ago. It was named [Subduing Demons], which refers to subduing many internal and external demons through asceticism. It is a further manifestation of "precepts" and contains some Dao fruit powers of [mind], [cause and effect] and [prajna]. We can try to construct the prototype of this part of the Dao fruit.
The current Buddhist system is [seeking opportunities], [good deeds], [concentration], [awakening of consciousness] and [six sense objects], and the corresponding power is called "concentration".
This is also reflected in the seventh-grade Dao Fruit fragment [Concentration], which allows the master's mind to be in a stable state, not easily affected by external forces, and then gradually observe oneself in depth, explore the essence, gradually open the six senses of eyes, ears, mouth, nose, tongue, and body, and then master the [Six Dusts].
Chu Tai also deduced the fourth-grade Dao fruit fragment of this system, which was called [Shari]. It was a materialized product of "concentration" and could enable people to maintain a special state of relative tranquility and peace, and thus initially break free from the shackles of life and death.
Finally, there are the [Shami], [Bhikkhu], [Warrior Monk], [Zen Master] and [Great Virtue] of the future Buddha system, and the corresponding power is called "Wisdom".
Originally, it was a proof of Buddhist practice of gradually eliminating the ignorance that obscures the mind and seeking liberation, and it is a symbol of supreme wisdom.
But in the future Buddhist system, "wisdom" is reflected in the [Bhikkhu] of the eighth-grade Dao fruit fragment, giving him the ability to perceive cause and effect, predict the future, and chant scriptures and mantras.
This ability continued to grow, and when he reached the sixth level [Zen Master], he had gained a certain ability to teach others to learn Buddhism. When he reached the fourth level Dao Fruit Fragment [Venerable] deduced by Chu Tai, he could gain the characteristics of protecting and spreading the Dharma.
At first glance, the "wisdom" of the future Buddhist system is closer to a subordinate derivative of some kind of wisdom, which is a collection of learning, perception and teaching.
But Chu Tai could feel that after "wisdom" was promoted to the third grade in the future Buddhist system, there would be another qualitative change.
At that time, the power of the Tao and fruit of the Three Buddha systems would be completely integrated.
And now, Chu Tai saw two possibilities for the fusion of the Three Buddha systems: Bodhi seeds and golden lotus.
The core of Bodhi seeds should be the "wisdom" of the future Buddhist system, which can guide practitioners in the direction of progress and help them achieve perfect results.
The core of the golden lotus is "concentration", which can purify the mind, help conquer ignorance, and illuminate delusion.
But what is very interesting is that Chu Tai also realized that the foundation of the existence of both the Bodhi seed and the golden lotus is "precepts". Both are the product of the precepts and vows of Jie Yin and Zhunti.
'The relationship between these three is really complementary and indispensable. In theory, precepts provide a spiritual and moral foundation for concentration and wisdom. Concentration strengthens the foundation of precepts and provides a mental foundation for wisdom to practice. Wisdom guides the direction of precepts and concentration. Normal practitioners will gradually achieve perfect fruit under the influence of the three. But the Tathagata Buddha...'
Chu Tai recalled the situation of that existence and suddenly had a strange feeling.
Although this world is divided into three time periods, both the Three Pure Ones and the Mother of Creation can maintain their corresponding rationality. The Emperor of Heaven also stays safely in the last time period according to their statements. It seems that only the Buddha Tathagata does not maintain his rationality.
Such peculiarity suddenly gave Chu Tai a strange feeling. As one of the four beings closest to the innate true saint, could it be that Tathagata Buddha was the craziest one? Or even was he the one who had problems at the beginning?
The thought made Chu Tai feel a little apprehensive.
"If this person is the first to have problems, then the status of these two people..."
Chu Tai's eyes swept back and forth between Zhunti and Jie Yin, but he never expected that Jie Yin suddenly looked up, and the white light formed by the blending of twelve lights between his eyebrows began to rotate, and many Buddhist essentials were projected out.
With a thought, the Donghuang Bell guarded in front, not wanting those essences to fall down and quickly merge with the two systems of the Past Buddha and the Future Buddha, driving the transformation of many Dao fruit fragments and continuously moving upwards.
Chu Tai's eyes changed slightly. His concern about the condition of Tathagata Buddha made him temporarily unwilling to increase the power of the Tao Fruit of the two systems.
He stretched out his hand and a ray of clear light appeared, which turned into a precious lotus that appeared in front of the Donghuang Bell. According to the insights he gained from observing the third-grade golden lotus, he guided the essence to merge into the precious lotus.
In an instant, thousands of lotus leaves grew out, stacked up around the golden lotus. On each lotus leaf were densely packed scriptures and Buddha statues. Just one glance would reveal a vast amount of information, preaching the boundless true meaning of Buddhism to the observers.
