Chapter 142 Guanyin

Chapter 142 Guanyin

"There is only one chance. Is this the judgment of the kid from the Xu family? He actually thinks highly of that person."

An old voice came from the altar of the Temple of Heaven. The voice was like a dry rock wall, full of cracks, but with traces of time and a peculiar charm.

The owner of the voice was a white-haired man wearing an ice silk mask. He casually put down the secret letter in his hand and looked up at the sky.

As the most important place for sacrifices in the imperial court, this place is located in the imperial palace of the capital, but it does not appear solemn but full of vitality.

There were towering old trees, green grass, blooming exotic flowers and winding vines all around. There was gurgling spring water flowing out from the narrow cracks in the altar. Before it hit the ground, it evaporated into a light white mist and spread out. There were spots of golden light inside that turned into golden lotus flowers that slowly bloomed.

"There are no traces of his destiny in the star track. This shouldn't be the case. According to what he is doing now, gathering destiny and guiding fate, there should be traces of him in the world. Since there are traces left, then his destiny will gradually emerge. Why can't we see it?"

The old man turned his head and looked in the direction of Chu Tailai, observing the energy. He could see lightning and thunder, wind and clouds, the rising sun, the moon hanging in the sky, the stars moving, and all things in the sky. It seemed that there was a huge force settling and accumulating inside, slowly evaporating upwards, heading straight for the capital.

He closed his eyes and used a secret method to sense Chu Tai's direction. He could still feel the changes in the weather and destiny, but the sedimentation and evaporation inside had become hazy and could not be seen clearly or understood.

"Is this a secret method to conceal one's fate?"

The old man casually picked up a magic jade mirror from the side and threw it out, hanging in the air.

The slender, skinny fingers pointed at the mirror, trying to reflect Chu Tai's current state.

Chu Tai, who was riding the cloud chariot, looked up into the void. He felt a gaze falling on him and stretched out his hand to make a hand gesture.

'Call upon all the gods of the three realms, all the gods of the great and small laws... rely on the true light of God, rely on the power of heaven... respond to my every move... hurry and obey my command!'

As soon as he thought of it, the precious light in the Taiyi Changming Lamp began to flame, and the shadows of Wen Lingguan and Wang Lingguan appeared one after another, looking up into the sky.

Wang Lingguan raised the golden whip in his hand and waved it casually. A raging fire exploded, and streaks of lightning and fire fell into the void, causing ripples, but then disappeared without a trace.

A shadow of a golden whip appeared on the surface of the jade mirror on the altar of the Temple of Heaven. The old man flicked his long sleeves, and a layer of cloud as thin as gauze appeared on the mirror. Thunder and fire fell into it and were quickly eliminated, leaving only a little flying out from the mirror.

The next second, Wen Lingguan jumped out from the void. Before he could make a move, the old man's skinny fingers made a stone tablet fly up from the ground and block his attack.

Then another stone tablet fell from the sky, with runes flashing on its surface and divine power condensed like a mountain, trying to suppress the spiritual official.

Wen Lingguan flashed in the air, and ripples appeared in the surrounding void, and he was about to escape into them.

"Want to go?"

The five fingers contracted, and stone tablets rose up from all around, forming a magic ban to restrain the shadow of the spiritual official.

With a spread of his sleeves, several streaks of light flew out and hit the phantom, but they did not break up the spiritual official's phantom, but broke Chu Tai's control.

Chu Tai, who was sensing from afar, frowned slightly and looked at the Taiyi Changming Lamp in his hand. The light was swaying, and there was a scene on the altar of the Temple of Heaven. He could feel that the other party seemed to be trying to analyze the phantom of Wen Lingguan that he had summoned.

"Analysis? I just don't know if you can bear it..."

The magic gestures in Chu Tai's hands changed, and he whispered the sacrificial song "Yun Zhongjun".

"Bath in orchid soup and enjoy the fragrance, wear gorgeous clothes and look like a hero..." Wisps of mist flowed down from around the Donghuang Bell. As Chu Tai added them to the Taiyi Changming Lamp, the connection between Wen Lingguan's shadow and the lamp allowed the old man to break through some of the mist and see a little bit of the truth.

Chu Tai originally wanted to use the information behind the fog to shake the other party's mind, so that he could investigate the other party's specific situation.

Unexpectedly, the old man who was analyzing the fog suddenly widened his eyes. Rays of light appeared in his pupils, and light overflowed from his eye sockets like a burning flame. His skinny fingers were instantly filled with flesh and blood, and the skin on the surface was like that of a child.

At the same time, Chu Tai, who saw the changes in the old man by the light of the lamp, also felt a new inexplicable gaze from the sky falling on him. The sounds of burning incense and ringing bells began to echo in his ears, and bursts of low chanting emerged in his heart.

The sound was a little strange, like the sound of chanting, like people talking noisily, or like the sound of rain and tides interweaving.

Finally, these sounds came together to form a strange holy call.

"Namo Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva, Namo Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva, Namo Bodhisattva..."

The sound was fragmented, yet seemed to carry some kind of pious prayer and desperate cry.

Most importantly, these holy names do not seem to be recited by one person, but rather by thousands of people chanting in unison, with all kinds of noise.

The very beginning Namo is not all recited according to Namo (nā) (mó).

The chaotic noises made Chu Tai's mind become a little strange. Emotions such as irritability, tranquility, peace, despair, etc. surged up. His spirituality continued to surge up, and he saw a figure in the sky in a trance.

That was the image of Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva with a thousand hands and eyes sitting on the lotus throne, but at this moment there was no compassion in the Bodhisattva's eyes. Instead, there was a look of half crying and half laughing, half happy and half tearful.

When he noticed Chu Tai, the Bodhisattva naturally stretched out an arm that looked like a lotus root.

The five fingers were spread out, and an eye opened in the palm. A thousand-petal green lotus blossomed inside, and Chu Tai's image gradually emerged from the flower.

Chu Tai stretched out his hand and pulled, and mist surrounded his body, covering his figure. At the same time, the "him" in Qinglian's eyes also became blurred.

The Bodhisattva's face became more sad, but tears appeared in his happy eyes. His thousand hands waved, and blue lotus flowers blossomed. Arms stretched out from between the petals and waved around, as if looking for something.

The chaotic holy orders became even more chaotic, and the wails and cries became clearer.

Vines gradually grew on the surface of the Bodhisattva's solemn appearance. At this time, a sound of water was heard, as if something fell into the water, or like a fish jumping out of the water.

A huge mackerel with a precious mirror on its head jumped out of the void, opened its mouth wide and swallowed half of the Bodhisattva.

The Bodhisattva waved his arms, shattering the mirror, and the broken mirror fragments and the incomplete Dharma image pierced into the mackerel's body.

The fragmented Dharma image and the broken mirror that reflected thousands of lights gradually gave rise to a mackerel made of glass and began to merge.

During the fusion process, the symbolic meanings of the three Dharma images and their respective fruits were revealed, just like when Chu Tai saw the unknown under the fog, a huge amount of information gathered in his heart.

The difference is that this time Chu Tai did not need the help of the Donghuang Bell. As soon as he thought about it, mist shrouded his eyes, and the known turned into unknown.
