Chapter 765 Whose Youth

The school bell rang throughout the campus, and the setting sun painted the towering buildings of the city red.

Wei Yuan and Bao Yun didn't leave. Instead, they sat side by side on the rooftop railing of the main building, looking at the library half bathed in the setting sun. Against the backdrop of the rosy clouds, their silhouettes seemed to last forever.

Behind the two, Peacock squatted in the corner, holding a cigarette, frowning as he looked at it. Then, he mustered up his courage and took a puff, only to cough repeatedly from the choking.

The two quickly went downstairs and disappeared, leaving Peacock all alone on the rooftop, somewhat unable to believe that these two had just abandoned him there. Watching the setting sun, he hurried downstairs and rushed towards the school gate.

Wei Yuan rummaged inside her skirt and pulled out a lighter from a small side pocket, saying, "Wait a minute, let's deal with that annoying guy first."

Then Wei Yuan lit the lighter and began to burn his left little finger. The excruciating pain of the burning flame instantly spread throughout his body. His right hand desperately wanted to move the lighter away, but Wei Yuan suppressed all physical movements with his willpower, remained calm, and continued burning.

Bao Yun kept looking at him and asked, "Didn't it work?"

Wei Yuan said, "It has no way out, so this is its last desperate act. Burning it a little longer will force it out, but that would ruin its little finger, and it's not worth it. Let's try another way. You help me."

"As much pain as possible, but as little harm as possible?"

"Yes."

Then Wei Yuan appeared behind the man like a ghost and casually pulled a cable from the cabinet next to him.

The man approached the girl and said menacingly, "The school doesn't allow early relationships and pregnancies. I'm expelling you!"

"Director, they lied to me..."

"They have power and money, what do you have to be fooled about? They're the ones trying to fool you! Come with me to their office!!"

The man reached for the girl, but was suddenly hoisted into the air. Wei Yuan had used a cable to loop around his neck and suspend him directly from the ceiling. During this time, Wei Yuan encountered another obstacle, resulting in another bloody hole in his arm.

When the long hair reached its end, Bao Yun pulled it out and then inserted another finger.

Wei Yuan suddenly snorted and spat out a finger-sized worm from his nostril. The worm tried to escape, but Wei Yuan caught it.

Wei Yuan opened his hand, and the flesh worm had turned into a puddle of flesh. On it appeared the figure of a boy, both frightened and resentful, screaming, "I've already suffered enough, why are you doing this to me?"

Wei Yuan said, "I'm smarter and more hardworking than you. You can't even beat me at the simplest thing: enduring pain. So I can treat you however I want. As for whether you suffer or not, what does that have to do with me?"

"You're all bullying me! I... I don't want to stay in this country anymore, I want to go abroad!"

Wei Yuan smiled and said, "You're a good-for-nothing in China, and you'll be just as good-for-nothing abroad. You'll only ever get bullied."

"Impossible! I can become better as long as I leave here!" The boy was already somewhat hysterical.

The lighter traced an arc, igniting the minced meat and sending flames blazing that illuminated the entire school. The boy's screams echoed repeatedly: "...I'll be back!"

Wei Yuan shrugged: "I didn't expect you to leave so soon, I haven't finished reading the book yet!"

Bao Yun, who had been standing quietly to the side, finally asked, "You seem to really like physics."

Wei Yuan nodded: "Yes, I've found that when I want to persuade others, physics is more effective than reasoning."
