Chapter 71 Mission and Objectives

Chapter 71 Mission and Objectives

He can't always accompany Bruce. After all, he needs to find various items containing energy, so Bruce must rely on his own strength.

"I see!"

Bruce nodded. He understood what Mu En meant. He might encounter various problems in the future, and Mu En might not be able to help him solve them all the time.

Just like this time's assassination, if Moon hadn't come, he and Selena would have been killed by those assassins.

So he understood Mu En's meaning very well. He would make plans to deal with various problems and try to keep what was about to happen under his control.

Seeing that Bruce followed his advice, Moon also laughed. He saw some of Thomas's suggestions to Bruce in Thomas' letter.

The former head of the Wayne family hopes that Bruce can grow up safely and find his own mission and goals.

This also reminded Mu En that he should not continue to waste time here, he should embark on his own journey.

"I was originally planning to continue living in Gotham, but your father's letter reminded me that I had to continue traveling to find what I needed!"

This made Bruce and Alfred a little confused. What did he mean? Was he going to leave just after he came back?

Seeing the two people's puzzled expressions, Mu En laughed.

"Haha, don't worry too much. I'll stay for a while, but Bruce won't have to go to school during this time. He has a lot to learn."

Moon plans to teach Bruce some more fighting skills so that he can skillfully use various weapons to fight.

Although Bruce was very reluctant, he could see that Moon En would not stay because of his pleading, so he could only accept this fact.

The three of them walked out of the cave. Seeing Bruce in a low mood, Mu En chuckled, patted his shoulder and said:

"You are almost thirteen years old. You won't be popular with girls like this. Besides, if I have time, I will come back to see you."

Limbo has recorded the coordinates of this world. He can rush back here at any time to visit the people in this world. After all, he has not forgotten to teach Clark fighting skills.

What's more, there are still many things he needs in this world that have not appeared yet. He must come back here and extract those items containing powerful energy.

"Don't worry, I will come back to see you in one or two years at most. If your fighting level does not meet the requirements by then, there will be punishment!"

Bruce laughed. He would not slack off, especially after experiencing this chase. He realized how important skilled combat skills were to him.

"By the way, teacher, you said your father's letter reminded you, what did it remind you of?"

This made Bruce very curious. Moon was so powerful, how come he still had what he needed?

"Did you see the goal and mission in the letter? Although I don't have any important mission, I do have a goal, and I need to work towards my goal."

On the one hand, he wants to return to the mutant world to meet his former companions, and on the other hand, he needs to find more items containing powerful power to extract the essence of Aye.

When Bruce heard Moon say that he had a goal, he fell silent. He was wondering what his goal and mission were.
"Are you meditating?"

Selina's voice suddenly rang out. She walked around the manor and returned to the study again.

It was just the silence of everyone that made her think they were meditating.

"Of course not." Moon looked at Serena. This little thief was active in mind and had good skills. Most importantly, Bruce seemed to like her very much. "I'll teach you some self-defense skills. Do you want to learn?"

"I want to learn!" Selina agreed without hesitation. She had seen how powerful Moon was, and she knew exactly what Bruce was like.

In just a few months, Bruce was transformed into such a powerful person. How could she not accept it?

Don't forget that she is a homeless teenager, and fights are inevitable. If she can learn some fighting skills from Mu En, she can survive in Gotham more easily.

"Hmm...should I regret it?" Mu En pondered.

This little thief answered so readily that it made him feel like he had said something he shouldn't have.

"I know!" Bruce interrupted them in deep thought and looked at Mu En in surprise, "Teacher, I know my mission and goal."

"Dad wants to reform Wayne Group, and Mom wants to rebuild Arkham. I will help them accomplish all of these. I want to change Gotham and make it what Mom and Dad want it to be."

This is Bruce's goal and the mission he is looking for for himself. He wants to transform Gotham from a crime capital into a civilized capital.

"This is not your goal or mission. This is daydreaming and wishful thinking."

Selina rolled her eyes and said unhappily that she knew Gotham better than Bruce did, and she knew very well what this city was like.

This is Gotham, the city of vice, where everyone is in collusion with each other from top to bottom. The gangs are so powerful that they can influence the government. The police who were originally there to protect the stability of the area are now corrupt police who collect protection fees everywhere.

The only one he can rely on here is himself, and if Bruce wants to change all this, he needs to reshuffle Gotham, but this is simply impossible to accomplish, as that would be making an enemy of the entire Gotham.

"I will definitely do it!" Bruce remained determined. He wanted to eliminate all the evil in Gotham.

“Just find your goal and mission!”

Moon nodded. Like Selina, he didn't think Bruce could change Gotham.

After all, many outstanding talents will graduate from Arkham in the future, and those outstanding graduates of Arkham were sent in by Bruce himself.

"Okay, go and rest first. Starting tomorrow, I will teach you two a lot of fighting skills. As for how much you can learn, that depends on you."

……

Deep in a park
"All the assassins we sent out disappeared. The intelligence you provided didn't say anything like this would happen in Gotham."

The speaker was a middle-aged man, and he was talking to the person on the other end of the phone.

"That has nothing to do with me. I have already paid. What you have to do is kill the heir of the Wayne family as soon as possible."

There was a muffled voice coming from the other end of the phone, making it impossible to tell whether the other party was a man or a woman. The conversations between them were encrypted through special means and would never reveal their identities.

"Heh, all the low-level assassins have been wiped out. If you want to continue assassinating, you have to pay more..."

The middle-aged man sneered. They would not return the money. If the other party did not add more money, the bounty would be theirs.

As for those missing killers, it would be best if they could come back, but it doesn’t matter if they can’t.

After hanging up the phone, the man took a deep breath, changed his expression, and walked out of the park.
