Chapter 51 Gotham
After saying goodbye to Jonathan and his wife, Moon took a car to the metropolis.

Although Superman will become the protector of Metropolis in the future, Clark is just a baby now, and there are no super villains destroying Metropolis.

Looking at this peaceful city, no one could have imagined that a powerful guardian would emerge from here in the future.

Moon spent a day strolling around the metropolis. After seeing the Daily Planet Building and the high-rise buildings of Lex Corporation, he boarded a bus and headed for other cities.

Time passed quickly, and Mu En traveled through many cities. Every time he arrived in a city, he would go to the museum to look for traces of the artifact.

But every time I returned disappointed. The things displayed in the museums in these cities were, without exception, all ordinary objects, without the slightest energy.

Of course, he also visited many special cities during his journey, such as Star City where there is no Green Arrow, Blue Valley where no one picks up anything, Central City where the time restart button has not yet been born, and so on.

He had spent more than half a year traveling through the cities where future superheroes would be born, and now he was sitting on a transport truck leaving Blüdhaven and heading to Gotham, the hometown of a certain bat.

"I heard that the police in Gotham are very corrupt and often blackmail others. Is that true?"

Mu En leaned back in his seat and chatted with the driver.

"That's true. Although I don't know why you want to go to Gotham, I'll give you a piece of advice. Don't mess with anyone in Gotham, especially Mr. Falcone's people."

The Falcone family is the largest mafia family in Gotham City, so powerful that even the Gotham City Police Department has to give them a wide berth.

"It seems that Gotham is more chaotic than I heard." Mu En smiled.

He went to Gotham not just for a visit, but for something that might exist in Gotham.

After sending Moon to the Westward Bridge, the transport vehicle drove in another direction, and Moon walked into the gloomy city.

"I didn't expect there are so many Gothic buildings in Gotham. No wonder Bruce dressed himself up as a bat."

Looking at the buildings in the city, Mu En couldn't help but complain.

These buildings may not look like anything special during the day, but at night, coupled with Gotham's cloudy weather, they look like vampires' lairs.

Isn't the symbol of vampires a bat?
This also made Moon En somewhat suspicious. Was the reason why Gotham had such a high crime rate related to the depressing atmosphere brought about by these Gothic buildings? This atmosphere made people feel very depressed, which led to such a high crime rate.

But this has nothing to do with him, he is not a savior.

Walking on the streets of Gotham, I have to say that although the crime rate in Gotham is high, they all have a good appearance, and everyone keeps themselves very neat and tidy.

"Well, it's not as bad as I imagined."

As he was speaking, a thin man came towards him. The moment he passed by Mu En, his hand reached into Mu En's pocket.

"If there weren't bugs like you, I'd probably have a better impression of Gotham!"

He grabbed the guy's arm and twisted it hard, then kicked him to the ground. He squatted down, stepped on his head, and said slowly:

"I don't know the rules of Gotham, but I think it shouldn't be a problem for me to teach you a lesson, right?"

Mu En took out a sharp kunai from his waist and it appeared in his hand, shining with metallic luster under the night light.

Swish!
snort~
As Mu En moved, the kunai nailed into the guy's palm and blood gushed out.

The severe pain made the guy scream, but in response, the people around him looked on coldly.

"Next time I catch you, it won't be so easy!"

After saying that, he pulled out his kunai and wiped it on the guy, then stepped on the guy's bleeding palm and got up and left. This guy was just a petty thief, so he just gave him a lesson.

After walking for a while, we passed a dark street when gunshots suddenly rang out. Bang! Bang!
"Is there anyone else on this road? A vendetta?"

The sound of gunfire indicated that someone was killed, and this aroused Mu En's interest. He really liked to watch the excitement.

As soon as I walked into the street, I met a panicked man who seemed to have something in his arms.

Originally, Mu En didn't intend to pay attention to this guy, but this guy seemed to be worried about something. After seeing Mu En, he immediately took out his pistol and opened fire.

boom!
The bullet spurted out from the muzzle, and the moment it hit Mu En, there was a crisp "ding" sound.

"Robber?" Looking at the holes on his clothes, Mu En kicked him out fiercely. "You ruined my clothes."

Although the opponent was of strong physique, his body was completely unable to withstand Mu En's kick, and he was kicked so hard that he couldn't get up.

"It's Gotham after all. We've only just arrived in the city and I've already encountered this twice!"

As he spoke, he straightened his clothes and took out the deformed bullet from the hole in his clothes.

"We don't have any grudges, right?" He grabbed the guy's collar and walked deeper into the street. "Or is killing innocent people Gotham's style?"

When being held by Mu En, this guy was still struggling, trying to break free from Mu En's grip and escape from here.

Mu En did not let him off and inserted two kunai directly into his shoulder joints.

"Move it again and it will appear in your eyes!"

After waving the kunai in his hand in front of the other person, the guy dared not move anymore and let Mu En carry him back to the murder scene.

Back at the murder scene, two adults fell to the ground, with only a ten-year-old boy lying beside them in fear, shaking their bodies constantly.

This situation...seems a little familiar!

When they walked over to the boy, they saw that both adults had been shot in the chest. Judging from the amount of blood they were bleeding, they must have died.

"Well... you killed him with one strike. You are quite professional!" Then he threw the man next to the child. "He killed your parents, right?"

Seeing the man with kunai stuck in his shoulder joints, the boy cried and beat the man with his hands.

Mu En picked up the wallet on the ground and took out a business card from it.

"Thomas Wayne?" Looking at the boy who kept beating the man, Mu En raised his eyebrows slightly. "So it really was the bat!"

Although he felt a little familiar just now, he can now confirm that this teenage boy is the most suspicious Batman in the future.

Looking up, I saw a girl hiding on the external stairs with the same terrified look on her face. When she noticed Mu En looking at her, the girl stood up and was about to leave.

call out!
A white light flashed in front of the girl, and a sharp kunai was nailed to the wall in front of her, with half of the blade already embedded in the wall.

"Little girl, are you going to come down by yourself, or do you want me to catch you?"

Hearing Mu En's threatening words, the girl was a little scared. Although she could move between tall buildings very easily, she was not sure if she could run faster than the flying knife.

As a last resort, the girl had to come down the stairs, but she did not approach Mu En but moved towards the pipe on the side.

"Are there many little thieves like you in Gotham?"
