Captain Jack of Azeroth

Chapter 276 Bain Holler

Chapter 276 Bain Holler
Maiev and the Watchers chased Illidan into the forest and soon encountered a group of demons. The demons were unaware of the situation and immediately went to help when they saw their "companions" being attacked.

This group of demons was very powerful, and Maiev was afraid that the Watchers would suffer heavy losses, so she had to stop chasing them.

Back at the camp, Maiev reported everything to Malfurion.

Tyrande finally breathed a sigh of relief. She was really afraid that Illidan would not be a match for Maiev. It would be better if he was captured. If Maiev wanted to kill him, Illidan's life would be in danger.

Tyrande was not worrying about nothing. Maiev was very strong. As early as 10,000 years ago, Maiev was the best priestess. If Tyrande was not more favored by the Moon Goddess, then Maiev would have inherited the position of Moon Priestess. In other words, it was Tyrande who snatched Maiev's inheritance right that was bound to be won.

Maiev has always been resentful of this incident. After the War of the Ancients, Illidan created a new Well of Eternity and injured Maiev's brother Jarod. Malfurion publicly announced that Illidan would be imprisoned until his death, and Maiev volunteered to become the warden, known as the Watcher.

Some members of the Sisterhood of Elune chose to follow Maiev and became jailers and watchers, while others joined the Sentinels formed by Tyrande, but their numbers were obviously not as good as Maiev's.

Obviously, in the eyes of most priests of the sisterhood, Maiev is the elf who is qualified to become the priestess of the moon.

Maiev is very powerful. During the War of the Ancients, she led the priests of the Sisterhood as the main force of the Temple of Elune. Those powerful demons were like lambs in front of Maiev, allowing Maiev to slaughter them.

Although Illidan is now very powerful, Tyrande firmly believes that Maiev still has a way to defeat him.

Even though Maiev is now a watcher, she is still a priestess of Elune and can borrow Elune's power at any time. As a priestess of the moon, Tyrande has the most say in how powerful Elune is. As long as he is in Azeroth, Illidan will never be Maiev's opponent.

Malfurion glanced at Jack and said, "Now that Illidan has infiltrated the Burning Legion, I hope your plan will succeed."

Jack laughed. "As long as Illidan can send back some useful information, it will be good for us."

Malfurion looked at Jack deeply and felt that this guy was a little insidious.

However, Illidan soon sent back a message that a dreadlord named Baneholler would enter Felwood Forest and intend to pollute it again.

Illidan is now in Baineholler's team, and the coalition forces can launch an attack on Baineholler in the name of tracking Illidan.

No one expected Illidan to send back useful information so quickly, and Maiev even thought Illidan was deceiving everyone.

Jack said, "We'll know if it's a trick or not after we give it a try. Given the current situation in Fellwood Forest, the demons are no match for us."

Everyone nodded and immediately decided to raid Bainholler. Even if they failed, they could at least determine whether Illidan was truly reliable.

"I'm here to investigate Bain Holler's whereabouts!"

Tyrande took on the reconnaissance mission herself, and no one else said anything, especially Maiev, who was hoping something bad would happen to Tyrande.

So, everyone began to gather, boarded the Black Pearl, and flew towards Bain Hole.

Tyrande also boarded the Black Pearl. The reconnaissance she mentioned did not mean to go there personally to conduct reconnaissance, but to send an owl to conduct reconnaissance.

The owls of the Sentinel Corps are all magical creatures. They have no physical entity and cannot be observed in the real world, so they are very hidden.

Soon, Tyrande found a group of demons, whose leader was indeed a dreadlord. And Illidan was in this group.

Tyrande marked the demon's marching route on the magic map, and Jack immediately chose the ambush site. He rushed over first, released the ambush troops, and then hid the Black Pearl behind the trees.

He took out the Titanstrike and waited for the demon to appear. Soon, the demon arrived at the scheduled time without discovering the ambush. Jack aimed at the Dreadlord and immediately pulled the trigger.

A bolt of lightning shot out and instantly hit Bain Holler. Bain Holler was suddenly attacked and was seriously injured.

He tried to dodge, but a root rose from the ground and pinned him to the ground.

Ambushes were everywhere, and Tyrande and Maiev led the night elves to attack. Everyone shouted together: "Kill Illidan!"

"Don't let that demon go!"

Illidan's eyes suddenly turned, he grabbed a Doomsday Guardian beside him, and quickly left the team.

The Doomguard was still confused and was about to question Illidan for being afraid of death when he heard the sound of a cannon firing.

"Boom boom boom——"

The shells exploded among the demons, destroying their will to resist. The night elves rushed over and killed the demons who were caught in the chaos.

Baineholler was even set on fire by Tyrande's burning arrow, and was finally killed by Maiev who flashed behind him and slit his throat.

Seeing that Bainholler was killed so easily, the Doomguard shut up immediately. He looked at Illidan gratefully. If Illidan hadn't helped him, he would have been killed by these elves.

Illidan fled with the Doomguard, and the Doomguard took Illidan back to Ashenvale and arrived at their base camp in Ashenvale.

They met Anetheron, the second-in-command of the Dread Lords, a suspicious and sharp-minded Dread Lord.

But after the Doomguard explained the whole story, Anetheron chose to trust Illidan. Of course, Illidan's ability to kill Tichondrius was also part of the reason.

Killing the leader of the Dreadlord and then choosing to join the Dreadlord is obviously not something a spy can do.

However, Anetheron also suggested that Illidan attack a night elf stronghold to show that he had no ulterior motives.

Illidan agreed, and after setting out with the demon army, Illidan conveyed the message to Jack.

Jack immediately found Malfurion and carefully prepared a grand show for Anetheron.

They used magic to create an illusion, and Illidan led the demons into this illusion, killing hundreds of night elves. The demons did not notice anything unusual, and returned to report to Anetheron.

Anetheron immediately lowered some of his guard and allowed Illidan to remain in his camp.

Illidan quickly found out the number of the demon army, at least more than three thousand powerful demons, and the number was still increasing.

This made Illidan very worried, and he wanted the coalition forces to attack the camp in order to eliminate the Burning Legion's threat to western Ashenvale.

But Archimonde has already arrived in Azshara, and the army of demons and undead has officially marched towards Mount Hyjal.
