Captain Jack of Azeroth

Chapter 269: Cross-sea Warning

Chapter 269: Cross-sea Warning
Eranikus spread his hands. "There is no other way. I was saved by the arcane. Before that, I never thought that the arcane could purify nightmares..."

After listening to Eranikus's story, the dragons finally understood what was going on. However, they became interested in Jack. Kalecgos said, "I heard about Jack's deeds from Azuregos. Although he is a little greedy, he is indeed a hero."

Korialstrasz's expression changed. "Ten years ago, he helped me save the queen."

Eranikus smiled and said, "When you see him again, you will find that his development has exceeded your imagination."

This made the dragons wonder, it's only ten years, what can they achieve by further development?

The Black Pearl stopped above Dalaran, and everyone looked at the ruins below in shock.

"Is this caused by magic?"

The wizards were very confused. If it wasn't magic, it would take at least several months to destroy such a large city. If it was magic, then what scale would this magic be?

They couldn't imagine it, but Jack gave them the answer.

"Luo Ning, activate the backtracking array!"

Roning quickly took the Dalaran mage to change the magic circle and soon activated it.

Jack took out the Eternal Bottle and released the power of time inside. The power of time poured into the magic circle, followed the magic circle and started to move, then jumped out of the magic circle and fell into the ruins of Dalaran.

Dalaran reappeared beneath the Black Pearl, only this time it was made of magic.

The mages looked carefully. Although Dalaran was breached, the mages were still resisting the attack of the undead. Until they saw the arrival of Naxxramas, the Lich King personally led the undead army to attack and headed straight for the treasury of Dalaran. He took a magic book from the treasury and returned to Naxxramas. Naxxramas flew to the hillside near Dalaran, where an altar had been built.

Kel'Thuzad used the magic book to summon on the altar. Countless demons were summoned to this world to help the Lich King resist the attacks of the surrounding human lords.

A few days later, a huge figure was summoned.

He was taller than the tallest wizard tower in Dalaran, and he walked up the hillside in a few steps, looking down at Dalaran. Then he drew a magic circle on the ground and used it to destroy Dalaran.

"Who is he? He actually possesses such a powerful force."

The mages wanted to cast a spell to investigate, but the recollection spell had already ended. The magic circle exploded, attacking the Dalaran mages.

Luo Ning touched the blood at the corner of his mouth and said in a deep voice: "The demon is too powerful. We can't go back any further."

Jack waved his hand. He didn't care whether the rewind spell could continue. "Are you all right?"

"It's okay. After treatment, you will be fine after a few days of rest."

Hearing that Ronin was fine, Jack said, "Veresa, send out the drones to scout around and see if you can find the main force of the undead."

Everyone was alerted, and they looked around in astonishment, not even a single undead or demon could be seen. Kel'Thuzad summoned so many demons, it was impossible for him to just destroy Dalaran. Although Dalaran had a high status in the human kingdom, it was not worth the enemy's efforts.

Perhaps, destroying the entire human kingdom is the enemy's real goal. The Kingdom of Lordaeron in the north has been defeated by the Lich King, and the only targets that the undead and demons can attack are Gilneas and Stromgarde in the south.

However, the drone reconnaissance images did not show any signs of the undead and demons heading to Gilneas and Stromgarde, but instead found traces of the undead and demons in the farms west of Dalaran and in Sepulcher. Jack drove the Black Pearl to the seaside and found traces of the undead army crossing the river.

"They're out to sea?"

Everyone was very puzzled. Where could they go by sea?
Northrend? It's a place of ice and snow, and only the frost trolls would consider it a treasure.

"The Broken Isles?"

Vereesa looked at Jack and asked, "Will the demons go to the Broken Isles? You know, there are many artifacts there."

Jack looked to the west. He knew that the real target of the demons was the World Tree. But the situation in the Broken Isles was different now. No one knew whether Archimonde would suddenly have a brain attack and take care of the Broken Isles.

"We return to the Broken Isles!"

After landing the Black Pearl on the sea, Jack set the Broken Islands as the destination and turned on the autopilot mode. Then he summoned the craftsmen on the ship and began to replenish drones and ammunition.

Vereesa also began to train the soldiers on the ship. What was coming would be an epic battle, so it would be good to increase their strength a little.

Half a month later, the Black Pearl arrived at Suramar Harbor. Everything was normal here, and there were no undead or demons to be seen. It was obvious that Archimonde did not regard this place as his main target.

It seems that this demon leader wants to absorb the energy of the World Tree first, increase his strength, and then turn back to attack other places.

So, Jack told Talissa and Farondis about the situation, and they immediately allocated manpower and resources to Jack, asking Jack to continue heading west to rescue the night elves.

A month later, Jack arrived at the Azshara Sea. However, the demons had already arrived first, and Naxxramas was suspended above the sea near Azshara.

Jack hurried south and came to the Durotar Sea. Then the Black Pearl changed into flight mode and flew directly over the still-under-construction Orgrim into the forest.

After entering Ashenvale, Isel immediately communicated with nature and found Shandris Feathermoon in the Ringo Temple.

Shantis was very unhappy with Jack's sudden visit, "Jack, you promised me that you would not disturb our peaceful life."

Isel said quickly, "Shandris, the demons have already arrived in Azshara. It will only take two or three days for them to enter Ashenvale. Go and report to Lady Tyrande. If the demons launch a surprise attack, we will be defenseless."

"What?" Shandris looked at Isaiah in shock. "Do you know what you are talking about?"

"Of course!" Isel took out the imaging crystal and put it in Shandris's hand.

Shandris checked the imaging crystal and immediately saw that the beach of Azshara was full of undead and demons. They looked up at the towering Mount Hyjal and roared with killing.

"How could this be?"

Shandris didn't understand how the night elves, who hid so well, could suddenly become the target of the demons.

"It's useless to say this now. Let's find Lady Tyrande first and prepare for defense."
