Captain Jack of Azeroth
Chapter 158: Magic Fountain
Chapter 158: Magic Fountain
After an hour, Krush stopped talking.
The elven wizards felt they benefited a lot and discussed with each other some things they didn’t understand.
Jack looked at the mages and said, "Ahem, gentlemen, I need your help with something."
The mages looked at each other, and then a mage came over.
"My name is Leanda, and I used to be one of Sindra's managers."
"This is our King of Clan Gordok!"
Krush introduced very formally.
Jack smiled and waved his hand, "You can call me Jack, my real identity is the captain of the Black Pearl."
Ryanda was very perceptive. "Captain Jack, how can we help you?"
Jack took out the two swords and handed them to Leanda.
"The souls of Irina Darkwood and her pets reside on these two swords. However, their souls have become much weaker in the battle just now. I want to rush to the Broken Isles, but it will take several months to get there. So, is there any way to ensure their safety within a few months?"
Leanda nodded. "That's easy. All we need is a magic container with some energy solution in it. Pour one or two drops on the two swords every day, and we can ensure their safety."
Magic container?
Jack took out the Eternal Bottle and said, "Is this okay?"
"Eternal Bottle!!!???"
The mages all exclaimed, "Captain, where did you get this?"
"Is there any problem in the ruins of Eldaras?" Jack asked puzzledly.
Leanda said in amazement: "No, there is no problem. They are making a fuss because the Eternal Bottle is too rare. Ten thousand years ago, the Eternal Bottle could only be used in the Eternal Palace. Not even Tosedrin could own it. We have only seen the royal mages use it. This is the first time we have seen it at such a close distance."
Jack shrugged. "Don't be too surprised. Compared with the water from the Well of Eternity, it's nothing."
The mages nodded. Indeed, if they had a bottle of water from the Well of Eternity, they wouldn't need to worry about the source of mana. So why would they change their spellcasting techniques?
Leanda took the Eternal Bottle and said, "The Eternal Bottle is the best magic container. As long as we pour some mana into it... it has magical energy!"
Jack was stunned. "How is that possible?"
Leanda also thought it was impossible. If there really was magic energy, it would never appear in the ruins of Eldaras. For any mage, magic energy is a very important material and will not be discarded easily.
He tried again and again, but still felt the presence of magical energy in it. Although it was much less concentrated than the Well of Eternity, it was much richer than the general magic spring.
At this time, the large force had already cleaned up the battlefield and was withdrawing in an orderly manner.
Leanda looked at the contempt in the elves' eyes, then looked at the bows and arrows in their hands, and quickly gave up the idea of snatching the Eternal Bottle.
"Captain Jack, there is indeed magical energy here. So, you don't need to go to the Broken Isles to find a solution. Just use this magical energy to create a magic spring and insert these two swords into it, and all the problems will be solved."
Jack's eyes flickered and he asked with a smile, "I wonder how to make it?"
Leanda said: "This is easy. We just need to dig a well in the courtyard, draw groundwater, and then pour the magical energy in the Eternal Bottle into the well. We will build an extraction device on the well, and then put the two swords into the well for a while." The mages were all excited. If they could really build a magic fountain in Eldre'Thalas, then they would have plenty of time to solve the problem of magic addiction.
Jack knew this, and he would not let these wizards take advantage of him. He took the Eternal Bottle back from Leanda and said, "No problem. During this time, I want to learn some magic in the library. Is that ok?"
Leanda also understood what Jack meant. Compared with a magic fountain, the knowledge in the library became less important. Besides, the knowledge was still there, and even if Jack spread it out, it would not change that.
"Of course no problem, let's do it now!"
"can!"
The two sides reached an agreement and soon came to the courtyard. Leanda found a relatively open place close to the library. They did not explore whether there was water underground. Even if there was no water, they could use magic to draw groundwater from other places.
The tree people had already calmed down their spirits, and when they saw the mages digging, they came over.
When the mages saw that there were tree people in the coalition, they immediately looked embarrassed.
Elon Buck asked, "What are you doing?"
Jack: "We plan to create a magic fountain to solve Irina's problem."
He looked at the leaders of the coalition and said, "Krush, the northern part of Eldre'Thalas is inhabited by the Gordok clan. You can hunt and farm in Felwood, but you cannot affect the balance here."
Krush was a little embarrassed. "Your Majesty, how can we avoid affecting the balance?"
Jack looked at Iseil, who waved his hand quickly, "I'm not staying here. I want to go on adventures with you guys!"
Shandris looked at Iseil helplessly. This little girl had a wild heart.
"I will have someone send a female druid to Mount Hyjal."
The reason why male druids were not sent was that they were all in the Emerald Dream, and the only ones awake were female druids.
Jack nodded. "Lady Shandris, we need your men to be stationed in the eastern district of Eldre'Thalas. Although we can live in peace with the Sindra, given their previous behavior, we must monitor their movements to prevent them from making the same mistakes again."
He looked at the mages again, "I think you guys don't have any objections, do you?"
The mages were a little reluctant, but they still nodded. Their numbers were too small, and a large area in the west area would have to be left empty.
Shandris frowned. She didn't want to waste her precious manpower on monitoring these upper elves.
Elon Buck volunteered, "Let's station them in the East District! Together with the Twisted Wood Clan, we should have enough troops."
Jack shook his head. "The Twisted Wood Clan will be stationed in the courtyard of the west district. They also need the energy of the magic spring to restore their strength."
Shandris was speechless. "Okay, I will send a team to stay and station in the East District with the ancient trees."
Jack nodded, now all problems were solved, "Let's sign a peace treaty!"
Everyone nodded, and just as they were drawing up the covenant, Leanda's voice came: "Get on the water!"
Jack walked over, opened the Eternal Bottle, and poured magic energy into it. After a while, a magic fountain was formed.
