Chapter 101 Fearless Imperial Guards!
Chapter 101 Fearless Imperial Guards!
When Sanguinius heard that Garen was going to give him a Black Stone Fortress, his eyes lit up immediately and he spoke hurriedly.
"What can I do for you? Just ask!"
Galen opened a star map with five red circles already marked on it. Sanguinius looked at him in confusion.
"what is this?"
Garen pointed to one of the red circles and slowly said, "These places marked with red circles are where the Black Stone Fortresses may be hidden. I need you to lead the Blood Angels to find the remaining five Black Stone Fortresses."
"Five!"
Sanguinius stood up from the sofa, threw Garen over, and stretched out a hand to make a sign in front of his eyes.
"I worked so hard to find five Blackstone Fortresses for you, and you only give me one?"
"When did you become so greedy!"
Garen looked at Sanguinius riding on him in disbelief. When did the archangel become so obsessed with money? He was not like this before.
"Do you know how valuable a Blackstone Fortress is? Isn't Horus's Vengeful Spirit powerful? It's not even comparable to the Blackstone Fortress. Is it not enough to give you one to play with???"
Sanguinius scratched his head and smiled sheepishly, saying, "My descendants are about to return, and I want to bring them some good things as gifts."
"The people of Baal live in poverty. I have nothing, unlike the other Primarchs, who are all so wealthy."
Sensing Sanguinius's low mood, Galen consoled him: "Didn't the Emperor promise you that he would transform Baal into a habitable garden world?"
"It doesn't matter. Baal can establish a trade route like Fenris and Demacia to achieve complementary advantages and resources."
"Anyway, I work hard and everyone has something to eat."
Blackstone Fortress is an extremely high-end strategic resource. One Blackstone Fortress has the ability to blow up a planet, and three Blackstone Fortresses working in coordination have enough power to destroy a star.
Galen's plan was for the Dauntless Vanguard to leave at least three Blackstone Fortresses as strategic weapons, and the remaining three Blackstone Fortresses and one to supply the Space Wolves.
Russ has not returned yet. The Space Wolves' strength has declined significantly after losing their Primarch, so they were given a Blackstone Fortress to support them.
Sanguinius must send one. Such an obedient tool must be taken good care of. It may be of great use in the future.
There's another one?
The Emperor asked him to send a Blackstone Fortress to Holy Terra for the Custodians to play with.
"Okay, okay, one is enough."
Sanguinius climbed off of Garen.
"Well, go reunite with your little holy blood kid, and then get to work for me!"
"Yes Yes Yes"
Demacia.
After the rain, the warm Demacia stars hung high in the sky.
The sky is now a healthy blue and white color, and the faint fragrance of soil fills the air, which is proof that it has rained.
He looked into the distance, and the vast and undulating fields led his sight to the vague mountains, and finally to the star-speckled blue sky.
A bright spot headed northwest; it was the Moon Wolves' reinforcement fleet.
A bright spot flew southeast, it was the flagship of the Space Wolves. They would return to Fenris and wait for the return of the Wolf King.
A bright spot was rushing towards the east. It was Sanguinius's spaceship. He would return to Baal, where the Blood Angels were already waiting for his arrival.
There was another bright spot, which was the spaceship of the Imperial Guards. A team of Imperial Guards escorted the most beloved goddaughter of the Lord of Mankind, his most proud student, to the Emperor.
For some reason, Garen felt a little sad and a little lonely. He didn't know when, but there were always a few lovely people around him, from Russ, to Sanguinius, and then to Lux.
The original body had been accustomed to the feeling of having relatives around him, but suddenly, they all left him.
“I’m really not used to it~”
"My Lord, we are here with you."
Behind him, the guards who had always followed the Primarch knelt on one knee, with their right arms clenched into fists across their chests.
This is the knight's salute of Demacia.
Seeing this, Garen's mouth slowly curled up into a smile.
He motioned for his guards to stand up.
"Maxim, now the Fearless Vanguard has no combat missions and will be locked up in Demacia for a few years. What do you plan to do?"
In response to the Primarch's question, Maxim pondered for a moment and gave his own answer.
"I will hone my martial arts skills and prepare myself for future battles. For Demacia!"
"."
Galen remained silent. Is Maxim, this wooden man, all muscles?
He thought of Dante of the Blood Angels, who had been working overtime for thousands of years without any rest. Every time he finally died and could return to the Golden Throne to rest, he would be forcibly put on a buff and pulled up to continue working overtime.
They are pure cattle and horses, worse than black slaves.
Galen wanted to give the Fearless Pioneers a break to rest, but Maxim, a blockhead, couldn't understand what he meant.
"Well, I mean, give the brothers in the legion a break. You have been fighting with me for so many years."
"Maxim, tell me, how long has it been since you last went home?"
Hearing this, Maxim shook his head. He had also forgotten about time.
"Go home, Maxim, and the other soldiers of the legion, go home and have a rest."
"What about Demacia's defense? What if the demons invade at a time like this?"
Maxim said worriedly.
Galen patted his shoulder and pointed his right hand to the sky.
"Look, with so many canned corns guarding us, Demacia is the second safest place after the Palace of Terra."
When the news of the vacation spread within the Legion, the first to be surprised were the Terra veterans. They had fought for the Emperor for countless years, from one war to another, and had never heard of Astartes warriors being able to take a vacation.
They all came before the Primarch to verify the authenticity of the news. When they were told that it was true, they showed happiness, worry, or some other emotion. Galen could not help but see their thoughts.
After meeting with the Terran veterans, the Primarch came to the Custodes spacecraft in low Earth orbit and after some bargaining with the Emperor, he was allowed to give the Space Marines a holiday.
Those Terran veterans will return to Terra to visit their relatives under the supervision of the Imperial Guards.
Of course, the Emperor also warned the Primarch that if these Astartes showed any sign of corruption and betrayal, they would be immediately killed by the Imperial Guards.
After the matter was settled, the Primarch returned to Demacia and met with the families of some of the most loyal Fearless Vanguard warriors.
The families of these legionaries all have one thing in common, that is, there are pregnant women in their families.
The Primarch certainly had no special quirks.
He plans to start producing the first batch of Fearless Guards!
