I only ask that these people be compassionate, that they enlighten the world, help people escape suffering, and ascend to bliss.

I did not ask them to worship me, to cast a golden statue of me, or to build temples or monasteries for me.

What does it have to do with me if Buddhist monks do whatever they want?
"The Hinayana school advocates individual liberation, emphasizing detachment from worldly life, personal liberation and Nirvana, and the supreme Buddha!"
Mahayana Buddhism advocates benefiting all sentient beings, focusing on universally saving all beings and teaching them compassion. It aims to benefit all sentient beings from the fundamental principle of benefiting all beings, helping them to escape suffering and attain ultimate bliss!
At that time, all sentient beings can attain Buddhahood, which is the Pure Land of Ultimate Bliss!

Left with no other choice, Cao Meng gave the old Living Buddha a brief explanation of the differences between Theravada and Mahayana Buddhism.

The Buddha's teachings did not originally have a distinction between Mahayana and Hinayana; it was only because each of his disciples had a different understanding that they were divided into two schools: Mahayana and Hinayana.

The demonic sects plunder and seize by force, while the Buddhist and Taoist sects of the Eastern Dao Continent cheat and swindle!

Cao Meng felt that since the Buddha ascended to heaven, the compassion of Buddhism had faded.

Are those robes worn by the monks in the Eastern Continent really robes? They're human skin!
