Chapter 1081 Destroying its Holy Path
The Heavenly Court is in chaos, which will inevitably affect all the heavens and myriad realms. The Heavenly Dao and fortune of each world have become weak, which has also allowed demons and ambitious people from all realms to take the opportunity to cause trouble. The war between saints has not yet ended, and the three thousand great worlds have already entered a period of turmoil.

Gu An did not participate in any battles and continued to travel among the mortals with the Great Xuan Yin Ruler.

The Dao Universe expands infinitely. Since the Heavenly Emperor became a sage, the Heavenly Dao has also transformed into the Dao Universe, and it is now expanding continuously. Every once in a while, a new world is born. These new worlds are nurtured by the creation of the Heavenly Dao and are full of vitality. Before the Dao of Immortality descended, the common people lived a life of survival of the fittest.

Following behind the black horse, the Great Xuan Yin Ruler saw two enormous ferocious beasts fighting behind the distant mountains. They had no magic or supernatural powers, relying entirely on their physical bodies to clash, a primitive and savage battle.

"It will probably take many years for order to emerge in this world."

The Great Xuan Yin Ruler spoke, his tone filled with emotion.

In his view, the speed of the evolution of the Heavenly Dao was too fast, far exceeding the speed of the evolution of his Dao Universe.

Sitting on his horse, Gu An said leisurely as the horse swayed, "It will indeed take many years, but the seeds of order have been sown and are sprouting."

As soon as they finished speaking, the world around them suddenly changed, and they found themselves in a field with farmland on both sides and rolling hills in the distance.

The Great Xuan Yin Ruler was already used to Gu An's methods. At first, he would think about it carefully and felt that this was not an ordinary maneuvering technique. Unfortunately, he could not see through it and could only give up.

This world is located on the edge of the Heavenly Dao, and belongs to the world born after the Heavenly Emperor became a saint. The spiritual energy here is thin, and all living beings are at the mortal stage. Because of this, the turmoil of the Heavenly Court has not affected this place. Those powerful beings are not interested in this world with thin spiritual energy. Only when the sky occasionally shows a glow does it cause the common people to have wild thoughts.

What is the current status of the battle between the Heavenly Emperor and the Holy Venerable of Punishment?

The Great Xuan Yin Ruler spoke again, asking, "A day in heaven is a year on earth. Since the sages started their war, he and Gu An have been wandering in the mortal world for a hundred years."

He could see that the battle in the Heavenly Court was still very intense. The immortals and gods had established their positions in the higher heavens, but the number of invaders was increasing. The influence of the Luo Xu Sacred Path was far beyond the Heavenly Court. It had invaded all realms of the Heavenly Dao. Many cultivators who were suffering received guidance from the Luo Xu Sacred Path and believed that the Luo Xu Sacred Path was their hope. Overthrowing the Heavenly Court was, for them, overthrowing the corrupt old power. They were changing the Heavenly Dao. They were the saviors.

The difference in ideology has driven both sides to a bloodthirsty standoff, and no one is willing to try to mediate.

In their own hearts, they were both on the side of justice and would never bow to evil.

The Great Xuan Yin Ruler is very interested in this phenomenon. He always invades the Dao Universe alone and doesn't engage in such calculations. In the past, he would have disdained it, but now he would consider how much benefit there would be in doing so.

"It's almost over."

Gu An answered casually, his gaze falling on an old farmer plowing a field in the distance. Two children, a boy and a girl, sat by the field, looking only five or six years old, talking to the old farmer from time to time.

"Then will you take action?" the Great Xuan Yin Ruler pressed.

"meeting."

Upon hearing this answer, the Great Xuan Yin Ruler was not surprised, but merely mourned for the Punishment Dao Saint Venerable.

"Although the Holy Venerable of Punishment is incredibly powerful, unfortunately, he cannot see how deep the waters of the Heavenly Dao are," the Great Xuan Yin Ruler lamented, also reflecting on his own choice.

"Then you are mistaken. The Holy Venerable of Punishment was defeated, but the Heavenly Emperor was unable to stop him."

Gu An's voice came again, which stunned the Great Xuan Yin Ruler.

Has the Holy Venerable of Punishment been defeated?

His first reaction was that it was impossible, but considering Gu An's cultivation level, he didn't think Gu An could be wrong. Was the Heavenly Emperor really that powerful?
The Great Xuan Yin Ruler changed his mind about the Heavenly Emperor again. He suddenly realized that Gu An's choice to secretly help the Heavenly Emperor might be because of the Heavenly Emperor.

Could it be that the Heavenly Emperor is hiding something even greater than the Primordial Chaos?

"How do you intend to deal with the Holy Venerable of Execution?"

The Great Xuan Yin Ruler asked cautiously, wanting to understand Gu An's attitude towards the Sage.

"Destroy their sacred path, destroy their sacred soul."

Gu An spoke casually, but his words sent chills down the spine of the Great Xuan Yin Ruler.

Before coming to the Heavenly Dao, he always thought that sages were immortal and that even if many sages joined forces to attack a single sage, they could not completely destroy him.

The thought of Gu An's methods of subduing him sent a chill down the spine of the Great Xuan Yin Sovereign.

If it were him, perhaps he could really do it!
The Great Xuan Yin Sovereign's sense of luck vanished. It turned out that Gu An spared him not because he couldn't kill him or was helpless against him, but because he genuinely wanted to give him a chance.

He tried to adjust his mindset and began to look forward to what would happen next.

He wanted to see how Gu An would eliminate the Holy Venerable of Punishment.

The two continued on their way and came to a row of village houses. Gu An dismounted and walked towards an old woman sitting in the courtyard fanning herself. He asked with a smile, "Grandma, could we stay here for a few days? We won't stay for free; we can help you with the work."

The old woman turned to look at Gu An, her gaze falling on the Great Xuan Yin Ruler. The headless Great Xuan Yin Ruler was seen as having a head by mortals; this was Gu An's doing to avoid frightening mortals.

The reason she looked at the Great Xuan Yin Ruler was because the Great Xuan Yin Ruler was carrying a carrying pole, looking like someone who could do hard labor.

"Where are you from?" the old woman asked, without immediately answering Gu An.

Gu An started chatting with her, and before long he had the old woman laughing heartily, and the matter of her staying temporarily was successfully settled.

The Great Xuan Yin Sovereign was quite moved. With their abilities, if they wanted to stay, they wouldn't need to waste words at all, and could even keep these mortals from noticing. Yet Gu An still communicated with mortals on an equal footing.

He discovered that Gu An truly lacked the arrogance of a saint, let alone the fact that Gu An had surpassed the realm of a saint.

He couldn't judge whether Gu An's attitude towards people was good or bad, but being able to control his own mindset was itself a very high level of skill.

One or two times can be explained, but the fact that it has been happening consistently shows that Gu An truly views mortals as equals from the bottom of his heart.

And so, Gu An and his companion stayed at the old woman's house. She lived alone; her son had been away for ten years, saying he was pursuing immortals and would never return. The villagers helped her with the farm work, and she would share some of it as payment.

Silent all night.

As the moon set and the sun rose, the old woman went out of her house early the next morning and saw the Great Xuan Yin Ruler plowing the field, while Gu An stood by the field, stretching his back.

She was about to go up and talk to Gu An when her gaze was drawn to a figure in the distance. She rubbed her eyes and looked again, only to find that the person was running towards her house, looking very anxious.
