Chapter 244: Goal achieved, tantric exercises using the power of the gods

This introductory practice in Tantric Buddhism is called the Four Preliminary Practices of Vajra. Preliminary practices refer to diligent cultivation before entering the true path. The Four Preliminary Practices of Vajra are divided into four stages: warmth, summit, patience, and worldly practices. Practitioners who cultivate a sincere heart and practice the convenient path can sever afflictions and attain the four good roots.

[This Vajra Four Preliminary Practices is the most basic method of Tantra and can be applied to all subsequent exercises. Even the Supreme Yoga method requires this practice as the foundation for cultivation.]

I pondered this introductory tantric practice for a long time, and ultimately succeeded in improving it, making it even more beneficial to other tantric practices.

[If the Four Vajra Preliminary Practices previously only added 10% to other Tantric practices, now they can add 30% or even more.]

My days in the Vajrayana were not particularly fulfilling, and most of the time they were boring. After I had perfected the Four Preliminary Vajra Practices, the Dharma King did not take the initiative to teach me the next level of the Dharma.

I asked a young lama why this was the case, and he told me that Tantric Buddhism doesn't care how fast a disciple cultivates or how talented they are.

[Because for them, these are not the most important things. The most important thing is to see how much their disciples comprehend and understand the Tantric scriptures.]

After receiving this information, I immediately understood that Tantric Buddhism was different from Zen Buddhism, and that the practice was not about cultivating the ways of ghosts and immortals.

The most important thing now is to thoroughly understand the various Tantric scriptures and become famous in debates with others in this sutra academy. Only then will there be a higher chance of receiving the teachings of other techniques.

Tantric Buddhism emphasizes the Three Secrets: the Secret of Body, the Secret of Speech, and the Secret of Mind. It places the greatest emphasis on attaining enlightenment and liberation through spiritual practice.

[From another perspective, this is also good for me, as it allows my troubled mind to find temporary peace and tranquility.]

Afterwards, I continued to recite and understand various Tantric scriptures. In just less than a month, I had completely mastered all of them.

[At the same time, I discovered that after thoroughly understanding all the scriptures of Tantric Buddhism, I gained the ability to communicate with some of the spirits, namely the guardian deities, bodhisattvas, vajras, and Buddhas worshipped in Tantric Buddhism.]

The blessings of these spirits will allow me to learn the following exercises more smoothly. I've also discovered that each Tantric practice is related to a specific spirit. Just as I use the Nine Star Golden Light Mantra to draw on the power of the nine shining stars, each Tantric practice can draw on the power of a specific spirit.

[If one practices without understanding the Tantric scriptures, even if one learns it, its power will be less than one-tenth of the authentic one.]

Zhuge Qing listened to Feng Baobao's notes and couldn't help but look curious.

"Nine Star Golden Light Curse, is it the very special technique that Zhang Chulan performed at the Luotian Grand Ceremony? Can it actually draw on the power of the stars?"

"I don't know how much the power has increased."

"After all, whether it's using the power of gods or the power of stars, this kind of technique is at the BUG level, and it can often be used to defeat enemies that you would not be able to defeat otherwise."

Hearing Zhuge Qing say this, Zhang Chulan on the side shook his head and spread his hands.

"This kind of spell, I feel, is exactly the same as the Tongtian Talisman that Master Lu passed on to Junior-Master Uncle. One borrows the power of the Nine Stars at no cost, while the other simply draws talismans at random to borrow the power of the gods at no cost."

"Regardless of whether there's a price or not, I still remember Shan Shitong's ancestral talisman, which can seal a person's Qi meridians at will. If your junior uncle got hold of it and just threw a hundred Qi meridian-sealing talismans at him, even Brother Ding would have to think twice."

"Speaking of which, this method of sealing one's Qi meridians is indeed shameless. No matter how powerful you are, as long as your Qi meridians are sealed, you will be unable to perform any of your various methods or techniques."

The Dharma King and other venerables personally met with me. The Dharma King told me personally that he thought it would take ten years for me to fully comprehend the tantric texts and his ideas. He never imagined that my progress would be so rapid, far beyond the reach of other Lama disciples.

The Dharma King and the four venerables then each taught me a different method: the Toum Gong, the Vajra Initiation Gong, the Vajra Qigong, the Mahavairocana Sutra, and the Mahavairocana Dharma Protector Gong. They instructed me to cultivate all five methods to perfection before receiving a new one.

It is a pity that among these five methods there is no supreme yoga.

[However, I should be satisfied with being able to obtain these five Dharma doors.]

After returning home, I studied these five methods day and night. To my surprise, several of them could also open the human chakras.

[Among them, Natum Kung can open the second chakra, the navel chakra. After practicing to the extreme, inner fire will be generated from the navel chakra and fill the whole body, thus making it fearless of ice and snow, and not afraid of severe cold.]

The Vajra Initiation Exercise can open the crown chakra, guiding the Vajra Qi to pour down from the crown chakra to the central channel, just like nectar entering the heart and enlightening the mind. This allows one to see the true nature of the mind, break through demonic obstacles, and come and go freely without hindrance.

Although only these two out of the five techniques can open the human chakras, it's still quite good for me. At least I can experience in advance what it feels like to open the chakras and what special abilities arise.

[After I opened my navel chakra, I immediately felt a continuous flame emerging from it. This flame was different from the Buddha fire recorded in the Toum Gong. It was the Samadhi True Fire that I had cultivated!]

[Normally, when I cast this Samadhi True Fire, the energy consumption is quite huge. But now that I have opened my navel chakra, the Samadhi True Fire is endless. This also means that from now on, when I cast this Samadhi True Fire, there will be no loss!]

Zhuge Qing's face was filled with envy when he heard this.

"I'm so envious! This Samadhi True Fire is the unique skill of our Wu Hou Sect. According to our ancestors' records, even if you are lucky enough to learn it, it will be very life-threatening to use it."

Zhang Chulan's eyes narrowed when he heard this.

"What do you mean? You said that using this Samadhi True Fire is quite life-threatening?"

Zhuge Qing nodded after hearing this.

"Yes, that's it."

"This Samadhi True Fire is actually the fire of our life, but ordinary people cannot activate it, or even see it through inner vision."

"Only those of our Wu Hou Sect who have cultivated the Wu Hou Qi Men to the highest level can see the Fire of Life. However, seeing it, activating it, or even expanding it is a matter of astonishing magnitude."

"The owner of this notebook is like my ancestor. It's incredible that he can now use the Samadhi True Fire without regard for his life."

Hearing Zhuge Qing's sigh, Zhang Chulan could roughly understand what he was thinking.

It's like you've been driving a gasoline car, and suddenly a car that runs on air comes running next to you.

That kind of shock.

It's even more shocking than watching a mushroom egg explode.

[Then I used the Vajra Initiation to open the crown chakra. The moment it opened, I thought of a line that later became extremely popular.]

[That is, a spiritual light gushed out from the top of my head. Almost every minute and every second, I could feel my understanding improving. Although the improvement was not much, it had definitely raised the upper limit of my understanding as a mortal!]

Feeling the benefits brought by this spiritual light, I began to improve these five exercises one by one and integrate them into my own.

[After my comprehension broke through the upper limit, it only took me a little over three months to successfully cultivate these five techniques to perfection.]

After reaching the pinnacle of cultivation, I was able to experience the benefits of this Tantric practice, feeling that I was being cared for by the gods at all times.

[I then found His Holiness the Dalai Lama, and he, as I had hoped, taught me the highest tantric method, the Supreme Yoga.]

When Ding Shimaan heard about the Supreme Yoga Method, his eyes were filled with envy.

He opened his mouth and said:
"Legend has it that in ancient India, there was an ascetic monk who had mastered yoga to perfection. To test his skills, the local lord had him buried ten meters underground, leaving only a reed for breathing. He hadn't eaten or drunk anything during that time."

"Ten days later, this ascetic was dug out. Not only was he unharmed, but he was even in excellent spirits and spoke like a normal person."

"Even ordinary yoga practiced to the extreme can produce all kinds of incredible supernatural powers!"

“I really don’t know what this supreme yoga method will be like.”

After hearing this, Zhang Chulan couldn't help but think of Du Xinwu that Wang Zhenqiu had told him about before.

"I wonder how the former Quanxing disciple Du Xinwu, now known as Zhaba Shangzun, is doing in the Tantric Buddhism."

"If that's the case, can we also provide some of these Tantric techniques to the company?"

"Zhang Chulan, what are you thinking? The skills of each sect are all protected."

"So don't think too much about this kind of thing."

"Besides, didn't the notes just now say it all? You must be familiar with the teachings and scriptures of Tantric Buddhism before you can practice this Tantric technique."

Zhang Chulan scratched his head.

"Nothing, I just think there are a lot of people in the company who need it."

Then Zhang Chulan realized that he had said the wrong thing and quickly looked at Feng Baobao.

After obtaining this supreme yoga method, I immediately began to study and improve it.

This supreme yoga method has a total of 72 asanas, each of which contains 36 small movements. It is extremely difficult to improve it.

[However, my understanding has already reached a huge level. Even if it is called the Supreme Yoga Method, I can still make it reach a higher level.]

After continuous refinement, I eventually succeeded in improving all the postures of this supreme yoga method, making them more in tune with nature. Even ordinary people can benefit greatly from practicing it.

Afterwards, I began to practice. I have to say, as my body practiced this supreme yoga method, I could feel the previous decaying aura being driven away.

[At the same time, my other five chakras, the root chakra, solar plexus chakra, heart chakra, throat chakra, and third eye chakra, were also opened one by one during the practice of this supreme yoga method.]

[Just like when I first cultivated the Hundred Evils Body, I also gained five new innate abilities!]
