Chapter 8 What Happened Five Years Ago
"Could it be... you're using magic???"

Stark hesitated for a moment, his brows furrowed, his eyes narrowing, and there was even a hint of anticipation in them.

After all, who hasn't fantasized about a world with magic?
However, Carrot El simply dusted off the sand from his hands, pulled a small box from his pocket containing capsules, picked up the building capsule from the ground, placed it in the slot, and glanced at him:
"I don't have that kind of boring power."

"This is called a universal capsule, a product made from a type of microscopic particle discovered in the 1970s that can freely transform matter between the macroscopic and microscopic levels."

Upon hearing this, Tony Stark almost instinctively turned his head.

His brain structure was as if he had picked up all the people who had intentionally lost their brains while reading novels, then thrown all their unused brains into a pot and stewed them into a pot of brain broth. The resulting monstrosities spoke almost simultaneously:
"The flow of time at the macroscopic and microscopic levels is different from the changes in matter. In other words, what you call this kind of particle can greatly prolong the change in the mass of the attached object."

"This also explains why you have freshly baked Wellington steak and classic dishes from around the world on your table, and why this house, which defies all architectural principles, is located in the desert!"

"This is incredible. If what you're saying is true, I bet it will absolutely spark a new technological revolution!!"

"Carry it with you, place it anywhere—this magical creation is actually the power of technology?"

"Three hundred billion, I'm willing to pay three hundred billion to acquire it, and give you 39% of Stark Industries!"

"With your level of technical skill, I'm sure you also need the protection of the military, right?"

Stark was now looking at him with almost certainty.

After three months of hellish despair, Tony has now been completely transformed.

In the past, he would never have noticed, or rather, he would never have thought about, what kind of dangers people with this technology would face.

"A common man is innocent, but possessing a treasure is a crime." At that time, he did not understand this principle.

But now, having experienced it firsthand, he has come to deeply understand just how terrifying it is.

That could mean losing your life at any moment!

Carrot found Tony's words somewhat amusing:

“I don’t need your 30 billion, and of course I don’t need the military’s protection.”

"The multi-purpose capsule product was officially announced to the public through the media two days ago."

"However, because these particles are very precious, the products exhibited in the first three phases will not include large-scale buildings like this."

Was it the press conference held two days ago?
How did he end up here?

Upon hearing this, Tony Stark fell silent, his heart already churning with turmoil.

Whether it was Carrot El's unexpected appearance deep in the desert, the terrifying rays emanating from his eyes, or the particles that could trigger a world revolution, all of these completely overturned his worldview.

The man before me is shrouded in mystery.

He had only been trapped in the cave for a few months, and it was hard to imagine that the outside world seemed to have exceeded his understanding.

With his rigorous logic and meticulous thinking, this man, wielding such power, was certainly not there simply for a desert vacation.
After a long while, Tony Stark raised his head and stared blankly at Carrot Al:
"You came here specifically to see me."

"You just said 'getting on the road,' I bet you're not going to send me back to New York, are you?"

Carrot El looked up at the sun, a hint of contentment flashing across his face, because on Earth, only the desert located in the center of the equator could receive such abundant sunshine.

After scrutinizing him for a long time, he looked into Stark's eyes and asked, "When you were kidnapped, did you see those missile weapons produced by your own company?"

Tony Stark's pupils contracted instantly, and he subconsciously turned his head, revealing a dim look in his eyes. He took a deep breath and sighed without offering any explanation:

"That's my fault."

Seeing this, Carrot El nodded, and while taking out a capsule containing a desert off-road vehicle from the capsule box, he said:

Many years ago, in the small landlocked country of Sokovia, a family was having a meal.

"A bomb bearing the logo of Stark Industries fell, and with a loud bang, the couple died instantly."

"The two ten-year-old children who were lucky enough to survive are now living a precarious existence in the area occupied by terrorists."

Tony Stark listened intently to Carrot Al's story:

"Are you one of them?"

"Do not."

Carrot El shook his head and threw the capsule on the ground. The finger-sized capsule reappeared in an unbelievable form, transforming into a black SUV.

This scene made Tony Stark's heart itch, and he stared wide-eyed, wishing he could memorize every single change!
“But five years ago, I was a child too. I embarked on an adventure with another girl, and that's how I ended up meeting them.”

"Remember those people with the double R logo on their clothes?"

Tony Stark nodded slightly and pursed his lips, saying, "Of course, even if I forget, I won't forget the scar on my face."

Carrot El gestured for him to get in, casually opened the car door, and sat in the driver's seat, skillfully operating the vehicle.

"Their name is the Red Ribbon Legion."

"In fact, on the dark side of the world, experiments on superhumans began much earlier than you imagine."

"At that time, the Red Ribbon was renowned in the industry for its artificial human technology. Even established terrorist organizations like the Ten Commandments and Hydra dared not cross them."

Tony Stark felt a chill run down his spine. He had experienced the Ten Commandments and had heard of Hydra. If even these organizations dared not offend him, then what a terrifying opponent he was.

However, just when Stark thought he was about to face a major problem, Carrot's words made him feel as if he had fallen into an abyss.

"But I killed them all later."

Tony Stark took a half-step back in horror, his eyes filled with lingering fear as he looked at Carrot El.

He didn't think this was a joke!

Because he had just witnessed this guy completely ignore the 7.62mm and 5.56mm missiles, and even the M40 man-portable rocket launchers and missiles didn't budge. In the blink of an eye, he wiped out hundreds of assassins without leaving a trace!
"During the experiment, both of them gained some incredible abilities, although only a portion of them, but after training, they have a bright future."

Carrot completely disregarded the Red Ribbon Army; they were not worthy of his attention. Even if Dr. Groh actually brought Cell out, he wouldn't care.

God does not shed blood, but He will make you bleed.
