Chapter 234 Hela, the Goddess of Death!
"who are you?"

Where is this place??

Sensing the terrifying aura of death emanating from the newcomer, Pietro hurriedly placed the unconscious Wanda beside Mantis. The chilling killing intent emanating from the newcomer was like countless giant pythons writhing in a swamp, staring intently at their prey.

Quicksilver's face was grim. He stood alone in front of Hela, protecting everyone. His intuition told him that he was no match for the person in front of him.

But he's the only man here. If he doesn't step forward, who will?
Pietro gave a wry smile to himself. This was the first time in his life he had been surrounded by beautiful women, but why did the scene feel like a horror movie?

But now that things have come to this, he can't back down even if it means death.

"This is the realm of death, child."

Age-wise, Hela calling him a child isn't wrong. If it weren't for the chaotic situation in the world of the dead, Hela, suppressed by Odin, wouldn't be able to influence reality. This might be her chance:
"My name is Hela, daughter of Odin, and the future Queen of Asgard!"

Hela hadn't seen a living person in a long time since being exiled by Odin, so she was quite interested in the two or three kittens in front of her.

Quicksilver frowned. This guy looked like a villain no matter how you looked at him: "Asgard? I've never heard Thor mention that he has a sister."

"Thor?"

Hela pondered the name for a moment, then smiled dismissively and scoffed:
"Thor?"

"Odin's newly chosen successor?"

“It seems you have forgotten me, human from Midgard.”

“Listen, woman, no matter who you are, we’re not so easy to deal with.”

Pietro retorted without holding back, which made Hela's face flush with anger. Just as the tension was about to escalate, Mantis spoke up from behind Quicksilver:
"You say this is a realm of death, does that mean we're already dead?"

Hela slowly turned her gaze to her. She had a very good impression of this little girl who was dressed and looked very much like her.

Especially after being locked up in such a dark place for so long, and with no one having spoken to her in ages, she couldn't help but patiently explain a few more words:
"No, no, no, I didn't bring you here."

"It is the cracks created by the cutting of the order of death."

Hela looked at the massive machine operating behind her, a terrifying and oppressive atmosphere permeating the surrounding air, and slowly looked at the crowd: "Now, kneel down before me."

"Swear allegiance to me, and I will protect you and ensure your survival in this disaster."

Before Hela could finish speaking, Pietro interrupted her: "Excuse me, beautiful lady, let's just forget about it. Although you are a goddess, in my heart, only my sister is a goddess."

If it were during his days of struggling to make ends meet, Quicksilver would have knelt down and pledged allegiance to the person before him without hesitation. But now, perhaps because he's been eating too well in the Justice League, he's gained an extra two pounds of bones—one pound for persistence, and the other for pride.

"If you do not submit to me, then you will die."

Hela was getting impatient with the man, so she conjured a jet-black longsword and thrust it toward Quicksilver.

"Qiang!"

The next second, the suffocating feeling of death instantly enveloped every inch of Pietro's skin. He was on high alert, as if facing a formidable enemy, and remained cautiously on guard. When Hela made the first move, she vanished in an instant.

Relying on his speed and agility, Quicksilver's figure flashed by in a high-speed movement that was almost as if time had stood still.

Hela was also somewhat surprised that this little brat could dodge her attack, but in the blink of an eye, as her aura continued to expand, the infinite divine power originating from death slowly gathered in her eyes.

When Quicksilver circled around to Hela's side, he was horrified to see that Hela's pupils were slowly looking at him.

"what?"

Pietro's eyes widened in disbelief, his running steps faltering in shock. As soon as he turned around, three black swords blocked his retreat. Seeing this, Hela moved, a bloodthirsty glint in her eyes. She seemed itching to fight and launched an attack.

A vast divine power surged forth, and the powerful body moved as fast as a ray of light piercing through the heavens and earth. Although Pietro tried his best to dodge, he was still easily grabbed by the neck.

"Uh!"

"So strong!"

Pietro was lifted up by Hela. He was no match for Hela in terms of either combat experience or personal strength. He kicked her a few times in the air, but it was like kicking a steel plate. He couldn't move her at all, and his own feet hurt.

"How is this possible? Could this woman really be Thor's relative? She's ridiculously strong!"

Pietro struggled to hold onto Hela's hand that was gripping his neck, but he couldn't break free. As Hela tightened her grip, his face turned increasingly red.

He never expected that he wouldn't even last a single move against Hela before being captured.

"stop!"

Seeing the situation was dire, Mantis disregarded the difference in strength and rushed forward. However, Hela didn't even touch her, simply unleashing a divine force with her gaze to send Mantis flying.

"what!"

With a thud, the Mantis Woman was thrown heavily away and crashed to the ground, feeling as if every bone in her body had shattered.

Just then, Number 18 and Wanda began to gradually wake up, and the first thing they saw was Pietro being strangled to death.

"not good!"

The two instantly snapped to attention and rushed to the rescue, gathering their strength to fight back!
"Bang bang bang!"

Hela sensed a strong sense of danger and quickly released Quicksilver, dodging away.

"Boom!"

Two dazzling explosions brought brightness and color to the land of death.

Hela, who had dodged the attack, slowly descended from mid-air, glancing back indifferently with a hint of interest in the battle.

Two beams of golden and red light intertwined, almost tearing the earth open with a long crack, as deep as a ravine and as long as a mountain range.

She hasn't met a worthy opponent in a long time, and she hasn't had a proper, satisfying match in a long time either.

"Are you okay?"

Lazuli and Wanda stood side by side. Seeing Wanda's pale and weak face, they quickly reached out to support her.

Having finally broken free from the control of the controller and the self-destruct program, Lazuli's eyes, besides being clear, were filled with overwhelming rage.

"It's okay, I'm okay."

Wanda's body was uncontrollably radiating a scarlet light, clearly indicating that she was still unable to control the energy within her body and was obviously forcing herself to stay afloat.

Lazuli protectively shielded her with heartache, her gaze hardening. She would leave the rest of the battle to her: "Don't push yourself. You saved me, you've already exhausted yourself. Rest well, I'll handle the rest."

Lazuli helped Wanda sit down and assumed a posture to face Hela. She knew very well how well Carrot Al protected Wanda. He usually didn't even let her and Quicksilver do too much training, raising them like children, hoping they could live peacefully.

Furthermore, Stark shares the same mentality with them, so Wanda's ability to achieve what she has today is already a testament to her exceptional talent.
