Immortality begins with becoming a master weapon refiner

The so-called Five Virtues and Five Elements are related by mutual generation and mutual restraint.

Holy virtue, good fortune, merit, unseen virtue, morality.

———These are the Five Virtues.

Luck, end of luck, killing luck, robbery luck, interception luck.

———This is the Five Elements.

In the final days of the Dharma, the holy virtue will be destroyed, and the holy way will not exist.

Qi and fortune are intertwined. Qi refers to one's fate, while fortune refers to one's destiny. The former represents the ups and downs of the fate of all living beings in the world, while the latter can only bring prosperity to one person's destiny. As the saying goes, even supernatural powers cannot overcome the will of Heaven, and individual karma cannot reverse collective karma.

Killing destroys all merits; among all sins, killing is the foremost. Immeasurable merits are destroyed by the karmic fire of killing.

The principle of karmic retribution is that good deeds and karmic causes are the main tenets of the cycle of Heaven. However, if the Heavenly Way collapses, then karmic causes will not be obstructed, and good deeds will be difficult to preserve.

Calamity overcomes morality. Cultivating the Tao is inherently against the will of Heaven, so calamity is bound to befall one. The higher one's Tao, the deeper the calamity.

This is the Five Elements overcoming the Five Virtues, reversed—

Morality overcomes the decline of the Dharma. In this degenerate age, virtuous people will emerge to spread the Way. It is people who spread the Way, not the Way that spreads people.

Saint Deke's destiny, the reincarnation of a saint, the transmission of his teachings, the world is renewed, a single lamp pierces through the darkness of dawn, illuminating the path ahead for all beings.

A person with good fortune can overcome misfortune and be free from harm.

Merit can overcome misfortune, and boundless merit can mend the interruption of the Way of Heaven.

Good deeds can overcome misfortune; even a wisp of good deeds can offer a glimmer of hope amidst countless calamities.

This is the Five Virtues overcoming the Five Elements.

The Five Elements of the Primordial Heaven can actually be encompassed by different Great Daos.

For example, the fate of killing represents the "path of killing."

Another example is the concept of cause and effect represented by the concept of "intercepting the flow of energy".

Calamity corresponds to the [Wanjie Dao], fortune corresponds to the [Tianyun Dao], and the end of fortune corresponds to the [Destroy the World Dao].

The Five Elements can be encompassed by the Great Dao, but the Five Virtues are more complex and contain multiple meanings.

The simplest way for Gu Qing to ascend to immortality and obtain a celestial citizenship is to accumulate good deeds and accumulate merits.

No wonder the cultivators of this world are so enthusiastic about upholding justice and performing all kinds of good deeds.

If one can truly ascend, then any amount of time spent is worthwhile. This act of merit is naturally a merit for the human race, not for the world. In fact, depending on one's personal perspective, it is feasible for all matters concerning one's family and country.

Its scope is so broad that it is easier to accumulate than merit.

No wonder there are so few cultivators in the mortal realm; could it be that they have all ascended to immortality...? Whenever Gu Qing thought about it, he felt it was absurd and wondered how the Heavenly Dao of this world had developed.

For someone like him, who had struggled to rise from humble beginnings, it was utterly abhorrent that such simple efforts could yield such rich rewards—it was simply incomprehensible! He was turning against the Heavenly Gang!

From many details, it can be seen that the Heavenly Dao of the Mountain and Sea Realm defines immortals in a very simple way, with extremely low thresholds.

Doing good deeds and accumulating virtue is nothing more than relieving the myriad sufferings of the world, such as medical care, food, shelter, injustice, love, hate, and so on.

Of the five virtues, merit is the most difficult to attain.

In order to receive the merits bestowed by Heaven and Earth, one must make up for the deficiencies in the universe. Whether one refines magical treasures or creates a golden body, it will have the miraculous effect of causing all things to retreat.

It is often only easy to obtain during the period immediately following the creation of the world.

Killing a person who has performed good deeds can easily bring misfortune upon them.

Given the opportunity, Gu Qing would certainly like to give it a try, but it was just something he did casually.
