Chapter 47 Conan Radar, Activated!
It was already morning when Kitahara Natsuhiro, Okino Yoko, and Yamagishi Sakae came out of the Metropolitan Police Department.

Before leaving, they also got a free breakfast, though it was a bit bland.

Yoko Okino looked at the sun, feeling somewhat dazed, yet also relieved.

Thankfully, Kitahara Natsuyu was there; otherwise, she wouldn't have seen the sun today.

Now, it's all over, the storm has passed and the sun is shining.

As for Fujie Akiyoshi, he will be prosecuted by the Metropolitan Police Department for attempted murder and will face imprisonment.

"Yoko."

At this moment, Sakae Yamagishi looked at Yoko Okino, bowed to her and said, "I am very sorry, I have caused you so much trouble this time."

"I'm really sorry."

He knew that he was the one to blame for all of this, but he believed that his intentions were good, and that he had simply failed to handle things properly, which led to this situation.

He also knew that his career as an agent had come to an end.

He's made such a huge mess, no one will dare to hire him again.

However, it's not a big problem. He has made a lot of money in recent years thanks to Yoko Okino, which is more than enough to open a shop back in his hometown.

"I know what I've done. I'll resign when I get back to the company and promise not to cause you any trouble, Yoko."

"Thank you so much for taking care of me during this time." Yamagishi Sakae bowed again.

Seeing Yamagishi Sakae apologizing and reflecting on his actions, Kitahara Natsuhiko's opinion of the guy changed considerably; he was much better than that bespectacled brat.

Yamagishi Sakae was just a little incompetent, but he wasn't a bad person.

"That's what I should be saying; it's me who has received your help."

Yoko Okino also bowed slightly to express her gratitude.

Although Sakae Yamagishi made a huge blunder, he was still very dedicated to his role as a manager.

Yoko Okino owes a great deal to Sakae Yamagishi for her success today, and she certainly deserves his gratitude.

"I'll go to the parking lot and drive the car out first, then you guys can talk."

Sakae Yamagishi was quite perceptive and didn't disturb Yoko Okino and Natsuhiro Kitahara.

In the past, he would have broken up the couple and kicked them out with the money.

but now
He decided to hand it over to the next agent, trusting in the successor's wisdom.

Yoko Okino nodded, and after watching Sakae Yamagishi leave, she turned to look at Natsuhiro Kitahara: "Natsuhiro, thank you so much for today. I don't know what would have happened if it weren't for you."

She still feels lingering fear when she thinks about what happened that night.

After all, the dagger had nearly pierced her heart; death was beckoning her.

Fortunately, Kitahara Natsuyu was there, and she was safe and sound.

Kitahara Natsumi smiled and said, "We are good friends and neighbors, so it's only right that we help each other. There's no need for such formalities."

"Aren't you going to rest before going to the company? Can you handle it?"

Upon hearing this, Yoko Okino clenched her fists, pretending to be full of energy: "Don't worry about that!"

"I'm an idol, staying up late is nothing new to me, it's a regular thing."

"Moreover, the company does need to address this issue to prevent it from escalating further."

Paper cannot keep out fire.

Just because nobody knows now doesn't mean nobody will know in the future; it's better to deal with it as soon as possible.

"Xia Yu, you still have class today."

Kitahara Natsuyu noticed the weariness in Okino Yoko's eyes, but said nothing: "I'm even less of a problem. I don't have any classes today, so I can just sleep on my desk. There's nothing wrong with me."

He's not sleepy right now; he'll just slack off when he gets sleepy.

Hearing this, Yoko Okino was relieved.

"It's getting late, I have to go to school now. Be careful on the way. If you encounter any accidents, you can call me anytime, or you can call Inspector Megure."

Although Inspector Megure's abilities are average, he is a trustworthy person. "Okay, you'd better hurry up! Don't be late."

"Ok!"

Kitahara Natsuhiro nodded and prepared to run to school, which would take about twenty minutes.

Yoko Okino responded and looked at Kitahara Natsuhiro's retreating figure, thinking to herself, "Thank you, thank you for risking your life to save me."

"I will remember this for the rest of my life."

At that moment, a black car appeared at the entrance of the Metropolitan Police Department; it was the car driven by Sakae Yamagishi.

"Yoko, let's go!"

"Ok!"

Yoko Okino nodded, got into the car, and headed to the company.

"Uncle Mori, I'm going out!"

Conan shouted, yawned, slung his backpack over his shoulder, and headed out the door.

Upon hearing this, Kogoro Mouri didn't even look up, simply responded, continued drinking beer and smoking, and then watched the morning's news.

Another day of boundless magical power.

"I'm so sleepy! That damn Kitahara Natsuhiro made me copy the school rules ten times, and it took me all night!"

He started copying the school rules at the firm after school yesterday, but he fell asleep halfway through.

Fortunately, he woke up; otherwise, he wouldn't have been able to finish copying it even after ten times.

He finished copying, but he was so sleepy that he had no energy left, and his hands were aching terribly.

All he could do was curse Kitahara Natsuyu in his heart to make him feel a little better.

"Vending machine?"

Conan stopped and looked at the vending machine next to him, then saw the coffee on it.

"Would you like a cup of coffee to perk you up?"

He felt he needed a cup of coffee to prevent Kitahara Natsuhiro from catching him dozing off in class.

If he gets caught, he'll be in trouble again, but he's just a child now.
Just as Conan was contemplating whether to get a cup of coffee, a figure passed by him, and a faint sound came from behind.

"Yes, I will do as I say, and I promise I won't let him affect our business. We'll deal with it later."

Upon hearing the sound, Conan instinctively turned his head to look, and then his pupils contracted and his expression changed drastically.

"A black hat, a black trench coat—this outfit is exactly the same as theirs, and considering the conversation we just had, could it be them?!"

Looking at the person's back, Conan subconsciously thought of the two people he had met at the amusement park, and a strange pain appeared on the back of his head, along with a hint of excitement on his face.

"It's them, it must be them! As long as I catch them, I can return to my original form."

During this time, he was obsessed with returning to his original state.

He really couldn't stand elementary school life anymore; it was just too painful.

So now he reacts whenever he sees someone dressed in all black.

But he wasn't Sherry, nor was he Radar; he always returned empty-handed.

However, this time he felt that the man in black in front of him was definitely the person he had been searching for, no doubt about it.

"You can't escape this time!"

Conan took a deep breath and quietly followed.

However, he didn't see the person behind him when he followed.

"Conan, the Men in Black? Interesting."

Kitahara Natsuyu watched the two figures disappear, his eyes narrowed.
