Chapter 98, page 1.7, section 15: Lias's Voyage
For some reason, Daolin felt a deep sense of sympathy for Mu Yegui, and at the same time, a bit of admiration. After all, not many people could remain unfazed or even unresponsive after being targeted by a pervert.
"Do you want to have a second round of intelligence exchange?" Shui Qi asked with a smile after seeing the somber expressions and dark eyes of the crowd.
"No, let's get out of this illusion first..." Moya waved his hand, but before he could finish speaking, he was knocked over by the sudden rocking of the ship.
Mu Yegui took a step back, because she was standing not far from Dao Lin at the moment, so when Dao Lin was knocked down, she bumped into her.
She reached out and gently lifted the person up, but the others were not so lucky.
"Mmm mmm mmm," Lias cried anxiously, but because his mouth was sealed, he could only make mmm sounds.
"What's going on!" Moya shouted, grabbing onto a nearby railing.
Shui Qi remained silent, and connecting this to Dao Lin's earlier words, he roughly guessed what had happened. He gripped the wall tightly with both hands, trying his best to control his body.
Mu Yegui stepped forward and tore off the seal from Lias's mouth. Lias, who could speak again, immediately shouted, "Those people are here! Pirates! They're attacking the ship!!"
Fernana was stunned. She pulled out the small knife that she had been hiding in her sleeve and slid it hard across the cover of the black book.
As the black book was ripped open, the surrounding scenery became distorted and blurred, and the light gradually dimmed.
Finally, they found themselves in the cabin of an old-fashioned wooden ship, illuminated only by a few dim oil lamps. Lias was tied to a barrel, not the pillar they had expected.
“A sailboat…” Dao Lin frowned and murmured.
"The storm is coming! Come on! Let's die together! It's not the first time, you damned outsiders!!" Lias cursed incessantly, his expression crazed, as if he had experienced this several times before.
"Do you know what ship we're on right now?" Moa grabbed Lias's vulnerable neck and said angrily.
“Of course it’s a merchant ship that’s about to be hijacked by pirates. Those pirates have been eyeing these delicious wines for a long time, and they’re ready to harvest them now. After all, I personally leaked the information.” Lias chuckled, his small, hidden canine teeth both innocent and eerie.
"Can I punch him in the face twice?!" The furious Moya turned to look at everyone and asked through gritted teeth.
Although she was asking a question, her fist had already been thrown as she spoke. However, the fist did not hit Lias's face; instead, Mu Yegui grabbed his wrist, and Moya tried to break free but could not.
With her cool, silver eyes fixed on Moya, Mu Yegui said earnestly, her expression still impassive, "We can't bully children."
"It's hard to say whether he's really a child! Are you trying to stop me, Mu Yegui?!" Moya roared.
"I don't mind fighting you. If you move again, I'll break your wrist." Mu Yegui's face was expressionless, and his tone was calm, as if he were just saying that the weather was nice today.
Dao Lin frowned and took a step forward, trying to stop the sudden fight between the two, but was stopped by Shui Qi.
He looked at Shui Qi with a puzzled expression. The latter chuckled, but her eyes were fixed on the two of them. She said in an ambiguous tone, "After all, everyone has a different personality, and some things are hard to resolve."
“This is not a good thing. Now is not the time for internal strife,” Dao Lin said, shaking his head.
“You’re rational, but Moya has a very volatile and direct personality; reasoning with her is useless,” Fernna said worriedly. The ship rocked violently, and everyone had to grab onto something to keep their balance. Only Moya and Muye remained locked in a standoff, neither willing to back down.
Moa was furious because he had been tricked by Lias and he was determined to beat him up.
As for Mu Yegui, it's because the character card can't be out of character (OOC). No matter what, she has to ensure that Lias is not harmed, so she can't let Moya attack Lias.
"I didn't grow up being threatened!" Even a lolicon couldn't stop Moa's anger at this moment. She just wanted to beat up Lias, who had tricked her, so that she could vent her anger. Before that, anyone who stopped her was her enemy.
Moya struggled to pull her hand back, but Mu Yegui tightened his grip on Moya's wrist slightly, and everyone heard a 'crack' followed by Moya's painful scream.
"Ahhh—" Moya lost her strength for a moment, and due to the violent rocking of the ship, she involuntarily knelt on the ground with both knees. Her right hand was hanging down, and the bone of it had been crushed by Mu Yegui. The bruises on her wrist were clearly visible and quite frightening.
Fernana's face turned pale. She never expected Mu Yegui to act so suddenly and without the slightest hesitation.
It was obvious how much pain Moya was in, and Dao Lin couldn't bear to watch any longer, so he turned his head away.
"Very well, since that's the case, I won't stand on ceremony." Moya's face was deathly pale, and beads of cold sweat trickled down her forehead from the pain. She gasped for breath and gritted her teeth as she spoke.
She reached into her pocket with her left hand, pulled out a bandage, and tightly wrapped it around her right wrist several times to secure it. After doing all this, her fractured right hand suddenly healed.
"A recovery item, and you even got it in this dungeon." This Moa is no ordinary person. After all, healing items are extremely rare, and probably none of the others present have ever obtained one.
Moya stood up and walked out first, saying, "Come out."
Before leaving, Mu Yegui glanced at Dao Lin, and then followed Mo Ya out.
“Let’s go out too,” Daolin said to the two of them as he stepped forward to untie Lias.
“That’s true. You can’t know what’s happening outside while you’re in the cabin.” Fernana nodded, took Lias from her, and pointed the knife at the back of Lias’s neck, chuckling as she said, “If you make any rash moves, I’ll stab you.”
Lias felt the sharp, cold sensation on the back of his neck. He stiffened, but dared not say anything, fearing that Fernana might accidentally kill him.
Once outside, everyone learned that the pirates were bombarding the ship with cannons and were attempting to approach and hijack it.
"Stop fighting, you two!" Fernana shouted anxiously at the two men who were fighting on the deck with weapons.
The sky was dark, and a fierce wind swept through the waves, carrying a sharp edge.
A storm is coming.
"Hold your fire, all of you, open fire!" Fish sat on a chair on the largest pirate ship, resting his chin on his hand and watching the merchant ship that was about to be overwhelmed with a light laugh. His azure eyes flashed with a crazy killing intent.
