Chapter 94, page 1.7, section 11: Lias's Voyage
The door to room 0302 was wide open, and a rotten, foul smell slowly wafted out from inside and filled the air in the corridor.
With a snap, Mu Yegui closed the door behind him. It was best to leave the toxic gas in room 0302 to prevent it from spreading to the entire cruise ship.
The crisp cracking sound of bones came again from all directions.
Mu Yegui paused slightly as he prepared to leave, noticing several gleaming white skeletons standing swaying on both his left and right sides.
Her long, misty gray hair cascaded down her back, and the excessively fluffy and soft hair slightly obscured her already delicate and petite face. Her cool, silver eyes swept over the six skeletons, and Mu Yegui stood silently before the door of room 0302.
Her silence did not mean the skeletons remained silent; they all charged towards Mu Yegui.
Mu Yegui took a step to the left, stretched out her right hand and slashed horizontally at the skull closest to her with a knife-like motion. In just one strike, the skull 'rolled' to the ground and rolled twice.
The headless skeleton instinctively moved and realized its head was gone. It hurriedly tried to back away to retrieve its head, but Mu Yegui kicked it to pieces.
in fact……
These skeletons are rather weak and don't seem very intelligent.
Maybe it's because they don't have brains.
Mu Yegui crouched down and swept the remaining five skeletons to the ground, scattering them into pieces. However, even when they were scattered, they were restless, their bones jumping and gathering together as if trying to piece themselves back together.
She remained crouched, watching the bouncing bones, and pointed a slender finger at one of the skulls. The skull reflexively bit down, resulting in several of its teeth being knocked out and its jaws snarling.
"How exactly did it start moving?" Mu Yegui didn't pull his fingers out. Instead, he used his left hand to lift the skull and hold it above his head. His cold, silver eyes held a hint of confusion as he asked.
With his thumb pressed against the skull's teeth, he easily pried them open with two fingers. However, seemingly due to accidentally using too much force, the skull's jaw dislocated with a 'clunk'.
Mu Yegui paused for a moment, then put his hands together and pressed the chin back down.
It's so pitiful that someone is missing four teeth and doesn't even have a chin.
"Since it's missing four teeth, let's call it Little Four." Mu Yegui stood up and casually pressed the skull head onto the skeleton, though it was a little crooked, probably due to the orientation.
The skeleton stretched out its hand, trying to turn its head back, but Mu Yegui had used too much force, so it was powerless and could only keep its head tilted.
Skeletons are fearless and only attack instinctively, but no matter how many times they attack, they are scattered by Mu Yegui. It's like child's play for Mu Yegui, but it's quite a challenge for the skeletons, since they need to expend energy to maintain their movements. Once their energy is gone, all that's left is a pile of white bones.
Mu Yegui pulled out the ruby-encrusted hairband from her left wrist and tied it around 'Xiao Si's' neck, walking it like a dog, while the others were kicked to the ground.
Xiao Si attempted to attack Mu Yegui countless times, but Mu Yegui slapped him back every time. Finally, relying on instinct, he came to room 03212 where there were living people.
The skeleton suddenly turned into dust and vanished at the doorway, and the hair ribbon that had been holding 'Little Four' naturally fell down.
Mu Yegui tied her long hair, which was loose at the back of her head, with a hairband and made a bow. After doing this, she lifted her skirt with both hands, and without caring whether she had a key card or not, she kicked the door open. 'Bang!' The door was forced open with too much force and bounced several times against the wall.
Lias was sitting at his desk, about to write something, when he heard the door being violently opened. He trembled a few times in fright and quickly hugged the black book tightly to his chest, looking as if he would rather die than hand it over.
"Young Master Lias, may I ask what you are doing?" Mu Yegui's cool silver eyes quietly watched the flustered Lias. His expression was calm and even undisturbed, as if it were just a casual greeting.
"I...I...I'm going to sleep!" Lias said nervously, clinging to the black book as if he wouldn't let go even if it meant death.
Mu Yegui didn't speak. She glanced at the room's furnishings and finally fixed her gaze on the crumpled paper next to the trash can.
She took a few steps forward, picked up the crumpled paper, and slowly unfolded it.
Lias swallowed nervously, his face flushed with guilt, and he timidly looked at Mu Yegui, who was calmly staring at the contents of the crumpled paper, hoping to glean some other emotion from it.
The next second, everything went black before his eyes. His head was slammed onto the table with a 'thud'. He was clutching the black book tightly with both hands, but one hand was pressing down on his head while the other side was pressed against the table.
Mu Yegui bent down slightly, her clear, cold silver eyes still as deep and calm as an ancient pool, and her expression remained unchanged.
"Young Master Lias, speaking ill of us behind our backs will be punished." The soft, childlike voice sounded like a devil's call, making Lias flinch in fear. He struggled desperately but couldn't move.
"I...I...I..." Lias's mind went blank, and he had no idea what to say. His head was pressed down on the table by Mu Yegui, and he couldn't even think about why Mu Yegui had found him or discovered him.
“I know that young master Lias is a good boy.” The two looked at each other and Mu Yegui said in a serious tone on Lias’s behalf.
“I’m a good boy!!” Lias quickly continued Mu Yegui’s words, his emotions running high, afraid that Mu Yegui would say something else.
"So young master Lias will behave obediently, right?" Mu Yegui asked again.
"Yes, yes! I will definitely be a good boy!!" Lias desperately hoped that Mu Yegui would let him go, because his head had hit the table violently just now, and he was so dizzy that he didn't know what he was saying at all.
"Then, young master Lias, give me what you're holding." Mu Yegui made no attempt to hide his intentions, showing no intention of being tactful.
Lias loosened his grip slightly, and the black book fell, only to be caught by a hand.
She released Lias and took a few steps back, glanced at the black book, tore off a page, and stuffed the book back into Lias's hand. She then folded the torn page in half and put it in her pocket.
