I'll also work hard to conquer the dungeon today.

Chapter 674, Section 2.5, Chapter 15: 'The House of Silk' and the Dollhouse

"Did you come here just to follow me?" Mu Yegui asked slowly, looking at Miss Lily.

"I'm not that bored!!!" Miss Lily glared angrily at Mu Yegui, then blushed and looked around nervously, saying, "It's just... there's something I need you to do... there's a strange noise coming from the basement... could you go check it out?"

Mu Yegui remained silent, his cool silver eyes still fixed on Miss Lily, as if waiting for something.

Seeing that Mu Yegui didn't respond, Miss Lily blushed and said through gritted teeth, "...Please."

Upon hearing this, Mu Yegui replied, "I understand."

Miss Lily breathed a sigh of relief. At least Mu Yegui had agreed. Although Joan had told her not to get close, if others did, it wouldn't concern her anymore. Even if Joan got angry, she definitely wouldn't be angry with her!

The wind and rain outside the window had quietly stopped sometime ago. The ground was still damp, but no more puddles appeared.

"Then hurry up and go!" Miss Lily urged Mu Yegui when she saw that he was still not leaving.

"I have a question," Mu Yegui said softly, glancing briefly at the diary on his desk.

Miss Lily said irritably, "Go ahead and ask. I'll think about whether I should answer you."

"Does the so-called killing of the Spider Mother simply mean killing her literally, or does it mean erasing her existence from the source?" Mu Yegui asked.

“Do I look like someone who would know the answer?” Miss Lily said, pursing her lips.

Mu Yegui glanced at Miss Lily with a look that inexplicably gave off a feeling of disdain, but Miss Lily didn't notice it because she quickly looked away.

As Mu Yegui walked past Miss Lily, just before stepping out the door, he heard Miss Lily's low, earnest voice.

“There’s a time-correcting stone on the top floor. It seems to have existed before I came here, but the Kingdom’s people can’t touch it.” Miss Lily paused, then added, “I’m not trying to help you, I just don’t want it to be taken away by the evil thing that controls Daddy.”

"Thanks for the reminder," Mu Yegui said softly, then walked out without hesitation.

Miss Lily turned around and looked back at Mu Yegui's figure, her pink lips slightly pursed, her expression carrying a hint of worry and...complexity.

Mu Yegui didn't leave and head towards the basement; instead, she chose the top floor. The Spider Mother downstairs, noticing someone on the stairs, changed direction and crawled towards her.

Something hit it with a 'boom', causing an explosion.

With his fluffy white cat ears twitching slightly and his tail swaying gently behind him, Xin Bai arrogantly raised his noble chin, looking down at the Spider Queen he had knocked down. His expression was proud, and his sandy gold cat eyes flashed with a hint of contempt and disdain.

Xin Bai narrowed his sandy-gold cat eyes, a slight smile playing on his lips, and said provocatively, "Don't run so fast, stay and play with me for a bit."

The Spider Queen shook her head, turned around, and pounced on Xin Bai, seemingly wanting to teach this audacious and arrogant big cat a lesson.

"Fly, now's the time." Xin Bai dodged the Spider Queen's fierce attack, landing on all fours with his white tail standing tall like a living whip.

Fei nodded and ran towards the stairs without hesitation.

The battle on the ground floor was extremely fierce, with loud noises coming from time to time.

Fei showed no intention of turning back to help, but instead ran resolutely towards the top floor. He was very fast, and soon he had reached the sixth floor, his breathing still perfectly normal.

A silver-white figure slowly emerged from the seventh-floor staircase. Her long silver hair was tied up high with a black ribbon, and she wore the kingdom's most standard knight's uniform, with a golden sword at her waist.

His handsome face was devoid of any smile; he simply stared coldly at Fei as he walked up the steps with his blood-red eyes.

A golden phoenix slowly appeared between his brows, only to vanish in an instant. The corners of his eyes were outlined with a thin red, adding an indescribable air of evil and allure to his face, erasing the original sunshine that was full of righteousness.

Rather than saying it was a bright sun, it would be more accurate to say that something was obscuring the sun's light, leaving only a stubborn halo.

The sun had finished its eclipse. "Where are you going?" Jafar looked down at Fei below the steps, his expression cold yet subtly tinged with murderous intent.

A flicker of jealousy flashed in his blood-red eyes, then vanished in an instant, as swiftly as the black snake shadow that appeared on his neck, so fast it seemed like an illusion.

Fei looked up at Jiafaer on the steps, his thin lips moved, but he ultimately said nothing.

He silently placed his hand on the hilt of the long staff at his waist and slowly drew out the sword, which gleamed with a cold silver light. He raised his hand, pointing the sword tip at Jafar, his expression calm, but his iris-purple eyes were filled with a firm and unwavering fighting spirit.

"Last time it was a draw because I let you win. Do you think I'll let you win this time?" Jafar sneered, his handsome face filled with a hint of mockery, as if he were looking at an insignificant ant.

He raised his hand and summoned his silver spear, then lowered his body slightly and thrust it towards Fei's chest.

A clang rang out as the spear and sword collided, sparks flying.

Fei held his sword to his chest, blocking Jafar's spear. The two were extremely close, which allowed Fei to clearly see Jafar in front of him. His iris-purple eyes reflected Jafar's beautiful, jewel-like blood-red eyes, and he saw the resentment, jealousy, helplessness, and anger in Jafar's eyes.

Compared to the slight strain on the Flyer, Jafar's posture was extremely relaxed.

He sneered, as if mocking Fei's overestimation of his abilities, and slowly said, "The weak have no right to approach her. Your presence is too obstructive. Could you please disappear?"

"I'm sorry, I might not be able to do that," Fei said stubbornly, struggling against Jafar.

"You really don't learn your lesson. Have you forgotten what you learned before?" Jafar gave him a slight shove, sending him crashing into the wall on the sixth floor before he fell to the ground.

Jafar, spear in hand, descended the steps one by one. "Shouldn't a clueless fellow like you face reality and eke out a living like a bedbug?"

Fei slowly got up, and although he had wounds on his body, no blood flowed out.

He drew his sword and assumed an attacking stance, retorting, "Ahem, you said it yourself, I lack self-awareness. So why should I do as you say?"

Jafar glanced at Fei's wound and suddenly realized, "No wonder I found it strange before. So the puppeteer was involved too?"

Jafar lowered his eyes and said in a low voice, "Indeed, we should kill him."

The difference in combat skills led to a one-sided battle; Fei could only manage basic self-defense and was unable to inflict any damage on Gafar.

"I've never quite understood why it was me. I haven't done anything to get in your way, so why did you notice me?" Fei didn't understand; he truly didn't understand.

The titles of Black Knight and White Knight are very similar, but the two are on opposite sides. Is it necessary for only one of them to survive?

“Because this is destiny.” A deep, intoxicating voice, as rich and mellow as red wine, rang out, interrupting the two’s battle.

"who!!"

It's worth noting here that Jafar isn't the kind of person who would kill you just because he doesn't like you. It's just that he has too many negative emotions, which causes him to lose control of his behavior. In other words, Jafar here is no longer able to think clearly and is instead controlled by his emotions.

There are three reasons for this:

1. The small bottle of wine in the bouquet of happiness stirred up Jafar, causing him to fall into a state of 'degradation,' as evidenced by the bloodshot eyes he had. As long as this state persists, his negative emotions will continue to suppress his positive ones.

2. As a jealous individual, it's impossible for Qi not to feel jealous of Jafar, the Knight of Muyegui. Therefore, he must have planted a 'seed of jealousy' in Jafar. After all, even the lazy Lanlos couldn't resist it, so Jafar naturally couldn't resist such emotions either. He already harbored a slight dissatisfaction and jealousy towards Fei, the Black Knight, and with the seed present, his jealousy was naturally amplified infinitely.

3. Laziness overlaid Mu Yegui's mark, turning Jiafar into her apostle. Jiafar was powerless against laziness, and the combined effect of the first two emotions led him to see Fei, who was clearly not Mu Yegui's apostle, standing beside her, while he, as her apostle, was forced to distance himself because of laziness. This created a tremendous sense of disparity within him. This disparity was amplified infinitely by the first two emotions.

The three negative emotions surged forth together, ultimately causing Jafar to be controlled by them and completely turn to the dark side.

The second stage of a solar eclipse is when the sun is completely obscured by darkness, leaving only a halo of light.
