Chapter 468, Part 2.0: Laziness
After Mu Yegui returned from selecting the royal decree, he discovered that the conference room had been forcibly demolished.

The reason was that Adele and Jealousy got into a fight, and Shu Ming, fearing that things wouldn't get out of hand, added fuel to the fire, dragged Zhu Yan into it, and then dragged Lanlos into it as well, which turned it into a chaotic melee.

Of course, this only damaged the table at most. The final reason the meeting room was destroyed was because someone broke the throne during the melee, which caused Sher to erupt and destroy the meeting room.

In fact, it wasn't just the conference room; half of the surrounding buildings collapsed.

Adele, sneezing incessantly from the dust, crawled out of the rubble. Her beautiful face was filthy and disheveled from the dust, even bearing a few scratches. She glared relentlessly at something, trying to kill it with her eyes, though they were utterly ineffective.

Jealousy casually swung away the stone, stood up with a dark face, and saw that someone was still glaring at him. He gave him a cold look, and the latter immediately turned his head away in a panic like a rabbit.

Rong Yi's hand holding the long pipe trembled slightly, and the protective space around him vanished. He remained seated calmly in his chair, without even a single rock in sight.

Ji Qi stood behind Rong Yi, leisurely waving his fan and watching the others' disheveled appearance.

"Gluttony is too cunning, using space to block it!" Adele complained, her eyes red. Why was this guy so relaxed?

"Have you considered my physical condition as a support staff member?" Lanlos said coldly with a dark face as Ifa carried him out of the ruins.

All notions of purity and cleanliness vanished in that instant. Lanlos glanced coldly at his dust-covered robes, then snapped his fingers, thoroughly cleaning himself. Even so, he still felt incredibly filthy and desperately wanted to take a bath right then and there.

Sher stood there, looking down at their disheveled state with an arrogant expression and a hint of disdain in his light gold eyes.

Jealousy raised her hand, looked at her scarred hand, and said to Lanlos, "I'm injured."

"This kind of wound is considered an injury?" Lanlos turned his head to the side and said coldly, "Just lick it yourself."

"It hurts so much." Adele touched her bleeding arm and said tearfully, "Why am I the one who is injured the most?"

Everyone: Because you're the weakest.

When Shu Ming sensed the danger, he instinctively hid in a safe place and only returned after it was over.

"The situation seems a bit intense?" Shu Ming said with a slight smile, his eyes narrowed.

To other people, that smile inexplicably seemed a bit irritating, making them want to punch him.

Zhu Yan kicked away the huge rock that was pressing down on him, his blood-red eyes filled with anger. "Xie Er, where are you attacking!" Blood was flowing from the boy's fragile neck, cutting into his snow-white collar like blooming red plum blossoms.

Compared to Adele's gruesome scrubbing all over her body, Zhu Yan only had two or three wounds, but each one was bleeding profusely, making it look particularly terrifying.

Lanlos glanced at the heavily injured and bleeding Zhu Yan, then casually summoned a very delicate staff, only about thirty centimeters long. The gem at the tip of the staff suddenly emitted a dazzling golden light, and the skin touched by the light instantly healed, returning to its original fair and smooth appearance. Of these seven people, only Laziness possessed healing abilities; in game terms, Laziness was essentially a healer, and a super healer at that, unmatched by anyone else.

Apart from Ji Qi and Tang Xiuna, all the apostles had fainted due to Xie Er's power and were now being carried out one by one.

Tang Xiu Na had hidden himself as soon as he sensed the danger; knowing Adele would be alright, he chose to prioritize his own safety. However, he didn't leave afterwards, but instead followed the servants.

Sher watched coldly as Lanlos finished healing the other person before slowly asking, "Sloth, why did you destroy the throne?"

"Why keep that kind of thing?" Lanlos chuckled and said slowly.

“That is…” Ji Qi took a step forward, but before he could finish speaking, Rong Yi stopped him and shook her head at him, signaling him not to speak.

"It's been gone for so long, even if I kept it as a memento, I'd get tired of looking at it by now. Something that's not needed by its master might as well be destroyed, since it doesn't have a master anymore anyway." Lanlos slowly closed his eyes, as if he were struggling with something, and finally said softly.

"You shouldn't have touched it; you're the only one who has no right to touch it." Sher moved his hand, but ultimately failed to cause him any real harm.

"Because I'm on the side of the rules now?" Lanlos sneered. "Little Sher, after all this time, how can you still be so naive? I've never cared who my master is; I only care who can bring me something new. The former king was one, and the current rules are another."

"Yes, so you're not the one who became despondent and committed suicide hundreds of times after the king disappeared." A cool voice came from afar.

Lanlos choked for a moment, then turned his head and saw a drunkard wearing a white priest's robe but with his chest and belly exposed slowly walking over. His slightly messy wine-red hair was casually scattered behind his head and swayed lightly with his walk.

"Dionysus, what are you doing here?" Lanlos frowned and said coldly.

"Hey, lords, I'm here to see Sloth." Dionysus ignored Lanlos's words and walked straight up to greet everyone, saying, "I reckon he's about to have another attack, so to avoid any serious accidents, it's better if I take him back."

He paused here, his long, narrow, golden phoenix eyes sweeping over everyone before finally settling on Sher, and said, "After all, this guy's mental state has been unstable since the king disappeared; sometimes he doesn't even know what he's doing."

This statement implies that laziness has gone mad, and its current seemingly normal state is actually the most bizarre.

"Suicide?" Ji Qi frowned and asked.

"It seems you have a deep misunderstanding about him. He sided with the rules not because the rules were powerful, but to test the rules' intentions. Unfortunately, his attitude suddenly changed drastically later. I guess he must have discovered something, but to avoid being detected by the rules, he deliberately drove himself crazy."

As Dionysus said this, his lips twitched slightly. Sloth was as ruthless to itself as ever.

His laziness after going mad is incredibly contradictory; sometimes even he himself doesn't know what he's doing.
