I'll also work hard to conquer the dungeon today.

Chapter 452, 1.27-30: A Bouquet of Blessings
"What are you doing here?" Jafar asked, frowning slightly as he stepped out of the door and saw a drunken man standing in the flowerbed.
If you were to ask him who he dislikes the most, it would probably be that group of charlatans from the Kingdom of the Unbelievable.
Dionysus yawned lazily and said slowly, "Can't I just call you over to catch up if I have nothing better to do?"
As soon as he finished speaking, a flash of silver light appeared, and a cold touch pressed against his neck.
Dionysus: "..." Where did he learn his quick-tempered, violent nature?
“You know we’re not the original beings here, so even if you kill me, it won’t change anything. Besides, I’m just following the script. Any unexpected events are purely due to sabotage.” He glanced at the silver spear pressed against his neck with his narrow, gilded eyes and spoke slowly.
“I don’t believe you were unaware that someone was causing trouble,” Gafar said coldly, looking at Dionysus.
"She's part of the instance, not an outsider. Whatever she does is permitted by the instance. How could I possibly find out?" Besides, he was drunk at the time. Who would care about a little bug?
"So this is your reason for making this dungeon more and more complicated?" Jafar snorted, a hint of disdain in his sea-blue eyes.
"Actually, it's not really a reason. You can just take it as the normal unfolding of this instance," Dionysus said lazily.
"Would a normal progression force players to actively maintain the instance?"
"This was an accident. After all, if you hadn't broken the rules, I would have ended the dungeon long ago."
"If you follow the normal procedures, I will never break the rules. Compared to me, who is more at fault—you, who used the convenience of the instance to force players to perform some kind of ritual and have a bunch of unnecessary memories implanted in them?"
I've always found it incredible that the Fairy Tale Kingdom has a dungeon called the Wonderland, but I never imagined it was for this kind of purpose.
Laziness wanted to use a body to resurrect the king in an alternative way, and such a crazy act went on for so long without anyone noticing.
“You interrupted the ceremony,” Dionysus said, shrugging, completely unfazed by the threat of the silver spear. “If you hadn’t interrupted, it would have been the perfect vessel, and our king would have returned without having to go through all this trouble…”
“Only you guys from the Kingdom of the Unbelievable would be so crazy. The king has long since disappeared, and the appearance of the crown prince is the best proof. One of them will become king and reach the top, while we are just examiners responsible for testing the crown prince.” Jafar frowned and said.
"So the White Knight is still too young. You were born in an era without a king, so of course you don't know how desperate we were when we lost our king. In our hearts, only the one who opened up a home for us to live in can be called a king, while others are just thieves who stole the glory that belongs to our king."
Dionysus reached out and brushed aside the silver spear, then slowly walked to the apple tree in the corner of the flowerbed.
"It's not just me who can't accept that the king is gone; even the other seven can't accept it. Laziness is just an excuse to avoid collapsing compared to others."
Do you think I don't know that this is self-deception? But rather than letting laziness drive someone mad, it's better to give him something to do.
So he chose to find vessels, infusing them one by one with the king's memories, discarding the inferior and choosing the superior. Although in the end, they were nothing more than people he killed. Dionysus wouldn't comment on this, after all, they were the people he served, and whatever they did was not for him to decide.
He could have refused, but he didn't want to.
“I have seen the King, though only from afar, but not everyone is qualified to wear that crown. Compared to others, I would much rather have my King return.”
Jafar was silent for a moment, then slowly said, "I will not judge whether your ideas are wrong or not, nor will I agree with you. We each act according to our own ideas, so it is only natural that we are hostile. As long as we are in this instance, you will always be my enemy."
"Hmm? Were you found out? I thought I could successfully persuade you to give up." Dionysus raised an eyebrow slightly, surprised.
"Do you take me for a kid who believes everything people say?" Jafar scoffed. Did he really look that naive? Believing everything people say, swayed by nothing... If that were the case, what would he be doing as the White Knight?
“Failure, failure. I thought I could succeed. After all, Jafar is just an innocent child at that age.” Dionysus said slowly, a hint of a smile flashing in his long, narrow, golden phoenix eyes.
"May I just cut your head off like this?" Gafar suddenly smiled brightly, his dimples making him look quite adorable. He chuckled as he spoke to Dionysus.
Dionysus: "..." Suddenly, he felt possessed by something strange, and it became terrifying.
“You…” Dionysus hesitated, looking at Gafar who was smiling broadly, and said, “I’m just a logistics staff member without any fighting skills. Is it necessary to use force against me?”
"If you say another word, I'll kill you." Jafar still smiled brightly, but his sea-blue eyes were cold and flashed with murderous intent.
"How terrifying." Dionysus put on an expression that showed no fear whatsoever, speaking with an air of complete seriousness without any emotion whatsoever.
"I suddenly remembered I haven't drunk my wine yet, I should go back..." Dionysus said, making excuses as he walked toward the door.
Before he could finish speaking, Jafar thrust his silver spear forward.
Dionysus calmly stepped aside to avoid Gafar's attack, saying as he dodged, "Let's talk this out. Don't be impulsive. Is it really okay for you to treat a weak man with no fighting ability like this?"
"Too much talk." With his azure eyes narrowing slightly, Gafar reversed his wrist to anticipate Dionysus's evasive position and slashed without hesitation, cleaving him diagonally in two.
"Oops, I still got slashed? But it's not my true form anyway, so I don't care. Let's have a drink together when we get out." Dionysus glanced at his wound and said calmly.
Dionysus's figure flickered, then became distorted and slowly disappeared.
"Who wants to drink with a drunkard like you!" Jafar frowned, his tone full of disdain.
