Chapter 424, 1.27-5: A Bouquet of Blessings
"What did you say!" The little girl glared at Mu Yegui, her face filled with disbelief, as if she never expected that there would be someone in this small town who would dare to speak to her like that.
"I have to say, it takes guts to wear a miniskirt and show off a stick-like figure when you're not very tall. But to wear a miniskirt and twirl around in circles, even with leggings underneath, is no different from a pervert who takes advantage of being drunk to grope women. One is using alcohol to embolden himself, and the other is using leggings to embolden himself. There's no difference."
Her cool, silver eyes gazed intently at the little girl, and she covered her mouth with her hand, which wasn't actually upturned, giving the impression that she was smiling, but it was just an elegant mockery.
Jafar's lips twitched slightly. How come he never noticed before that Mu Yegui's words were so sharp?
"That's too much! I'm going to turn you into a seed!" The little girl glared at Mu Yegui and swung her scepter, shooting out a black beam of light that struck Mu Yegui.
Mu Yegui simply stepped back with his right foot and turned sideways, dodging the magical attack from the little girl with an extremely elegant turn.
With a slight sway of her skirt, she gently grasped the two sides of the unfolded skirt with both hands, took a small step back with one foot, and gently bent her knees, performing an elegant bow to the little girl without making a sound.
Greetings, Your Excellency.
The little girl frowned, completely bewildered as to why the girl who had been mocking her just a moment ago was now bowing to her with an aristocratic gesture.
"I said you..." The little girl felt a sense of frustration and helplessness, with anger rising to her throat but she had to swallow it down. For a moment, she didn't know whether she should continue to get angry or swallow her anger.
Continuing to get angry would seem unreasonable, but swallowing her anger... she couldn't swallow it!
Mu Yegui's series of movements were fluid, graceful, and incredibly beautiful and elegant. He resolved the previous topic with just one simple movement.
The little girl glared at Mu Yegui resentfully, bent down to pick up the seeds on the ground, deliberately walked past Mu Yegui, and even snorted coldly.
However, the next second she seemed to kick something and fell forward, landing face down on the ground.
With a 'bang', dust flew everywhere.
Jafar watched as Mu Yegui silently withdrew her small, round, white foot. The latter simply turned to look at him, her face expressionless, and said in a soft, childlike voice, "I didn't do anything."
Jafar muttered helplessly, "...because you moved your feet."
When he was with Sher, Jafar had not had much contact with Mu Yegui. It wasn't until now that he realized how nasty this guy's personality was and how he liked to bully others, but he didn't evoke any feelings of disgust.
Perhaps it was because Mu Yegui was too beautiful, or perhaps it was because her movements were always so elegant and full of captivating charm...
Jafar didn't dislike Mu Yegui; in fact, he felt he admired her somewhat, as she could easily evoke others' goodwill towards her with just a few simple actions.
"Who! Who tripped me!" The little girl stood up and angrily scanned her surroundings, shouting.
Before anyone around could react, Mu Yegui took a few steps toward her, bent down slightly, and extended his hand toward her.
The little girl stared blankly as Mu Yegui reached out to her, then looked around at the others who looked wary and afraid, and suddenly felt a lump in her throat.
"I...I don't need your help!!" The little girl blushed, wiped the dirt off her face, shook off Mu Yegui's hand, and climbed to her feet on her own, not forgetting to pick up the magic hat that had fallen to the ground.
"Hmph! Don't think you can just let this go! I will never forgive your rudeness!" The little girl took a few steps forward, and the crowd dispersed in fear. She suddenly turned around and pointed at Mu Yegui angrily.
After saying that, he stormed off.
“You were the one who tripped her up,” Jafar said with a raised eyebrow and a light laugh.
"I didn't do anything," Mu Yegui said, tilting his head and putting his hands behind his back. Jiafa'er: "..." Shameless, shameless.
The farce ended, and the crowd gradually dispersed.
Back home, Mu Yegui picked up the broom in the corner and obediently began sweeping the floor, asking as she swept, "Can she turn people into seeds?"
“I can’t reveal too much information; you’ll have to discover it for yourself. I can only tell you that she’s one of the most important characters.” Jafar thought for a moment and then added the last two words as his hint.
one?
Mu Yegui pondered, "One of them" means that there are many other important roles like this.
"How do you use that thing?" Jafar asked curiously, holding up a white square cloth in front of him.
Mu Yegui put down the broom in his hand and leaned against the table, then walked over to Jiafaer and took it from him.
The cool, silver eyes stared intently at the square piece of cloth, then folded it into a triangle.
"Squat down," Mu Yegui said.
Jafar instinctively knelt on one knee and bowed his head to Mu Yegui.
“You don’t need to kneel on one knee.” Mu Yegui reached out and pulled him up, pressing him onto the stool, then walked behind him.
"Tie it to your head?" Jafar asked curiously, feeling Mu Yegui's hand touch his head.
"Hmm." Mu Yegui recalled the shape of the headscarf on the maid's head, then aligned the slanted edge of the triangular square cloth with Jafar, and the two right-angled sides with himself. He gently placed it on Jafar's head, and then tied the two hanging corners into a knot.
"Alright," Mu Yegui said, taking a few steps back to distance himself from Jafar.
Jafar touched the headscarf tied around his head with a strange feeling; it was the first time he had dressed like this, and it felt odd.
“I’m not wearing an apron.” Mu Yegui said slowly, picking up the white apron hanging on the wall.
"I don't need this, do I?" Jafar looked at it with a conflicted expression. He felt that if he wore it, he would lose his masculinity, but if he didn't wear it, his clothes would get dirty.
After thinking it over, he reached out and took the apron, putting it on himself.
Rather than letting a headscarf erase any semblance of masculinity, he chose to wear an apron that wouldn't soil his clothes.
After putting on a headscarf and apron, the originally handsome and dashing Jafar suddenly became gentle and approachable. Although he was still very good-looking, he was completely different from his usual spirited knightly demeanor.
He carefully cleaned the dust with a feather duster, his sea-blue eyes quietly watching the corner of the wall, not missing a single spot.
When Mu Yegui walked in carrying a basin of water, this was the scene he saw. His cool, silver eyes looked at the young man who was still somewhat naive and inexperienced as he tried to clean.
"Would you like to rest for a while?" she asked softly.
Mu Yegui's movements were incredibly elegant and beautiful.
