Chapter 377, Section 124: Luo Bo Town

Chapter 377, Section 1.24: Luo Bo Town

In March, when all things revive, the six kingdoms finally welcomed the warm spring after a long winter.

The fairytale kingdom of Lobo Town.

The streets were bustling with people, each carrying a white envelope printed with a golden radish. The envelopes also had a pair of long ears that swayed gently in the breeze, making them exceptionally cute.

A large white rabbit stood on the street, holding bunches of balloons and handing them out to passersby. It was more like a rabbit costume than a human being; its size was comparable to that of an adult.

Two figures, one tall and one short, slowly approached from a distance.

The man had beautiful, long, misty white hair, wore a gray octagonal hat, and a long gray trench coat, which made his already tall figure look like that of a model.

A pair of large sunglasses covered half of his face, making it impossible to see his true appearance, but one could vaguely sense that he must be very good-looking.

Beside him was a girl wearing a white shirt and a gray plaid suspender skirt. She had long, gray curly hair with only one small braid tied on the side of her face, the rest of which was loose behind her head. She was wearing a gray beret.

Her delicate, beautiful face, no bigger than a palm, was flawless, like a lifelike doll. Even without expression, it drew everyone's attention, her curled eyelashes fluttering like butterfly wings. Her clear, silver, round eyes were utterly calm, as still as a deep, ancient pool, reflecting no one's image.

She didn't look tall, much shorter than the average height of girls. She was petite and delicate, as if she would fall over if pushed.

The two walking together gave off a very harmonious feeling, but due to the huge height difference between them, they looked more like siblings than lovers.

"Didn't you say before that we couldn't leave the capital city?" Mu Yegui paused slightly, turned to look at Xie Er, and asked softly.

“I could have left, but I didn’t really want to at the time.” Shel gently twirled the frame of his sunglasses, revealing his beautiful light gold eyes, a faint smile in them, as he spoke softly.

"Then why do you want to come along now?" Mu Yegui asked, puzzled. Although his eye condition was quite severe, and he appeared perfectly fine on the surface, Xie Er was no longer using his eyes to see; he was relying solely on his senses to perceive his surroundings.

Samuro usually only abandons using his eyes when hunting and chooses to use his senses to directly locate his prey. What he perceives with his senses is more comprehensive than what he sees with his eyes, but it requires mental strength to maintain.

However, someone at Sher's level wouldn't care how much mental energy he would consume; it would basically be replenished as soon as it was used up.

"I'm afraid you'll disappear again." So it's better to stay with me.

"I don't have any extra invitations or tickets," Mu Yegui said. She only had two tickets: one that she shared with Mu Yin, and the other that was gold and silver. Xie Er didn't get any.

Shel pondered, watching the people coming and going around him. Then, he reached out and knocked out one of the men passing by. When he looked again, he was holding an envelope with a pair of long white ears between his fingers.

“Now we have it,” Sher said.

The blatant act of grabbing tickets caused players who happened to see it to take several steps back and keep their distance, and some even started talking amongst themselves.

Mu Yegui subtly took a step back, indicating that he didn't want to stand with Xie Er. This guy really didn't care at all how bad his behavior was in the eyes of other players.

She knew he wasn't a player, but the others didn't. In their eyes, Sher was just a bandit who would stop at nothing to steal without an invitation. Such behavior was unacceptable and would only provoke disgust and resistance from everyone.

Although for Mu Yegui, the absence of a name on the envelope meant it could be stolen, making Xie Er's actions legal—as long as he could enter the instance—he still felt a certain disdain, lest this person take advantage of him.

"Did Ye Gui also receive the invitation?" A familiar smile came from behind the two.

Mu Yegui turned to look at the person who had come, and was slightly taken aback. It seemed like he hadn't seen this guy in a long time. He felt that the person he was with was completely different from before, as if he had become a different person.

He wore a simple white shirt and black trousers, leaving two buttons undone, and his loose tie gave him a casual and approachable air. His short, black hair moved slightly with his movements, shimmering with a faint blue glow in the gentle sunlight.

He held an envelope in his left hand and waved it in the air. A pair of black and white wings could be seen on his index fingernail, giving it a mysterious feel.

His handsome face carried a gentle smile, exuding a warm and approachable aura, yet subtly hinting at an impending storm. His long, narrow blue eyes held a smile that didn't reach his depths, remaining unfathomably unfathomable.

"Shui Qi, long time no see." Mu Yegui nodded to Shui Qi as a greeting.

Sher, wearing sunglasses, stood behind Mu Yegui without saying a word, but was observing the man's behavior.

Shui Qi looked at Xie Er behind Mu Yegui with curiosity and asked softly, "An apostle?"

"No," Mu Yegui shook her head and denied it.

"I'm her brother." Sher managed to say those words with a cold expression, but inside he was jumping around like crazy.

He said it! He said it! He really said it! I'm so happy!!!
No matter how excited she was inside, she remained outwardly cold and indifferent, giving Shui Qi no friendly look and utterly rejecting his approach.

Shui Qi was slightly taken aback; he had never heard of Mu Yegui having an older brother. However, upon closer inspection, the two men's hair colors were indeed very similar. But because Xie Er was wearing sunglasses, he couldn't compare whether the two men's appearances were similar.

The aura they exude is indeed very similar; perhaps he really is Mu Yegui's long-lost brother...

Do you think he would think that way?

That familiar hair color immediately brings to mind the Duke I saw at the banquet in the King's City. Without a doubt, this person is the Duke, the first of the seven deadly sins, Pride.

Although he didn't know how Mu Yegui had gotten involved with him, now that they had encountered each other, he had to take it seriously. Moreover, judging from the Duke's words, he clearly didn't want his identity to be discovered, so he decided to pretend he didn't know.

Thinking of this, Shui Qi put on a friendly smile and said softly, "I see."

Smart people understand immediately and are unlikely to be fooled.

As expected of Shui Qi.

Ye Gui's portrayal of Sher is just too cute!!
