Chapter 333, Section 122: Gluttony and the Embroidered Robe

Chapter 333, Part 1.22: Gluttony and Rong Yi
On a winter night, the moonlight was as clear as if it had been washed.

A cool breeze gently swept through the courtyard, stirring the dark chrysanthemums that shouldn't be blooming yet were exceptionally charming. Their translucent, purplish-black petals curled upwards, clustering and concealing the flower's heart. A hint of red tinged the black, as alluring as congealed blood, possessing an inexplicable allure.

The gallery's red pillars are carved with strange patterns, and a man is sitting with his back against one of the pillars, casually resting one foot on the railing.

Her long, smooth, jet-black hair, like that of an ink lotus, was not tied up at all, but simply scattered behind her head, letting the gentle breeze lift the strands of hair.

He was only wearing a pair of white fur trousers, his muscular and perfect upper body bare, and a black robe with ink chrysanthemums painted on it casually draped over his shoulders. His posture was casual, yet he exuded a strangely alluring charm.

A large, eerie black totem was painted on his left chest and abdomen, which upon closer inspection appeared to be a monster with a human face and a goat's body. This totem did not detract from the aesthetic appeal; instead, it added a captivating magic, like an unfathomable black hole capable of sucking everything in.

His handsome, flawless face was calm yet tinged with a hint of melancholy, as if he were grieving over something. His long, narrow, dark purple phoenix eyes gazed silently at the alluring black chrysanthemums in the wind, a hint of darkness in their depths, yet their light was exceptionally clear and pure, untouched by any filth.

His fair, slender hand casually twirled a long pipe with a tobacco pouch hanging from it, taking puffs of the dry tobacco intermittently. The white smoke was instantly blown away by the cool breeze the moment it appeared.

Her languid and casual movements carried a unique mature charm that was incredibly alluring.

"Why are you here smoking in the middle of the night instead of sleeping?" A clear, melodious voice came from behind, tinged with displeasure.

"I didn't bother you." His deep, husky, magnetic voice possessed a mature yet alluring charm, enough to arouse any other person's body simply by hearing him speak.

"If you're in my way, I'll kick you out instead of calmly talking to you here," Ji Qiwei said slowly, glancing at the back of Rong Yi's head.

"Then I really thank you, teacher, for your mercy in letting me go." As she spoke, Rong Yi took another puff of her cigarette and slowly exhaled. The white smoke rose into the air but was dispersed by the cool breeze.

"How long do you plan to indulge yourself like this?" Ji Qi frowned. After the king disappeared, Rong Yi had fallen in love with smoking. Before, it was alright, at least she would just eat to numb herself. Now, she would start smoking whenever her mouth was free, and start eating as soon as she stopped smoking. She was living the life of a 'pig'.

"The teachers are enough for the administrative work; we don't need you. I'll just be a mascot." Rong Yi leaned lazily against the pillar, casually smoking her pipe, showing no intention of turning around to look at the dark face on someone's face.

“I’m saying you…” Ji Qi frowned deeply. Was this person’s laziness almost on par with being lazy?

"Anyway, that's how we got through it, so just leave everything to the teacher." His low, husky, and magnetic voice carried a nonchalant charm, and his every move exuded a strong aura of masculine hormones, captivating and mesmerizing.

With a dark expression, Ji Qi, unable to contain his anger any longer, kicked someone in the back, sending them flying. Afterward, he took a deep breath, seemingly trying to calm himself down.

Rong Yi got up nonchalantly, dusted herself off, and seemed to have long been used to this way of getting along.

As he patted the camera, he said, "I've gotten it dirty, I'm going to take a shower." With that, he swaggered past Ji Qi without a care in the world, heading back to take a bath.

Binge eating does not simply refer to wasting food, but rather to being "addicted" to something, excessively indulging in pleasure and neglecting to make progress.

None of the seven lords' castles could compare to Rong Yi's palace. His residence could be described as magnificent, with carved railings and painted beams, green tiles and red eaves. Rong Yi was the first to break away and own his own kingdom. The area where he lived was large enough to be called a city, and the furnishings everywhere were exquisite. Any one of them would be priceless.

It's incredibly luxurious.

Not to mention his easygoing, luxurious, and pleasure-loving nature, there is simply no one more suitable to be called a glutton.

In fact, Rong Yi was never officially granted the title of lord. The title of lord was merely an alias used to refer to her in relation to others.

In a sacred scripture in the Kingdom of the Unbelievable, they refer to Rongyi as the 'Ghost King,' which roughly means the Demon King or the Lord of Hell. It's not a very nice title, but Rongyi thinks it's actually quite good.

Rong Yi is actually somewhat self-loathing and even misanthropic, but his mind is as pure as a baby's. I don't know how Ji Qi taught him, but he managed to make this ticking time bomb, who was in a completely dark state, harmless and not involved with anyone at all.

Simply put, Rong Yi was disgusted with his own incompetence and excessively indulged in pleasure, but he never thought of bullying or hurting others. Even if he was bullied or hurt, he would silently lick his wounds.

He was actually quite soft-hearted and easily bullied, but the infamous reputation he had received from who-knows-where, which claimed he was cruel and bloodthirsty, perfectly concealed his true nature.

Because he indulged himself excessively in his love of pleasure, Ji Qi ended up taking on all the tasks that he should and shouldn't be responsible for, leaving him with almost no time to rest.

No matter what, Rong Yi always said, "Let Ji Qi do it" or "Just leave it to Ji Qi." This almost caused Ji Qi to die from overwork, leaving him mentally exhausted all day long. Of course, this was impossible, as Ji Qi, whose fighting power was comparable to that of a raging rage, was not tired.

Ji Qi's claim of being tired was just an excuse; he wanted Rong Yi to take more responsibility, even though he knew it was impossible because Rong Yi was a glutton.

As long as Rong Yi continues his gluttonous lifestyle, he will never be able to shoulder the responsibility of giving up his hedonistic nature.

"Go to sleep early," Ji Qi sighed softly.

Rong Yi paused slightly, then suddenly said, "She's here."

Ji Qi knew who she was as soon as he heard the name.

The entire food kingdom is within Rong Yi's domain. Once a stranger enters, he will sense and detect it immediately, and he will even know exactly what that person looks like.

Because of the power of gluttony, one aspect of which is to delineate a territory as one's own devouring range, Rong Yi's territory is the entire Gourmet Kingdom.

In other words, Gluttony's power is space; as long as one is in this space, he can easily take anyone's life, and no one can escape.

All the abilities of the Gluttony faction (Gluttony and even the Apostles) are related to space. Among them, Ji Qi is the best at using it. After all, Mr. Adele was imprisoned in space by Ji Qi and has not come out yet.
