Chapter 187, Section 112: The Cotton Candy Food Truck

Chapter 187, Section 1.12: The Cotton Candy Food Truck

The capital of the fairy tale kingdom was decorated with festive ribbons everywhere, and noise could be heard from time to time on the road. Elephants, monkeys and lions led the way, banging drums and gongs to advertise the Amazing Circus performance.

"Boss, give me a strawberry-flavored marshmallow..." Before he could finish speaking, a promotional flyer was slapped onto his cheek.

Mu Yin's face darkened instantly. He peeled it off with obvious disgust, not even glancing at it, and crumpled it into a ball before throwing it into the trash can next to him.

The cotton candy food truck was decorated in an extremely cute pink theme, with various colors of cotton candy used as decorations. The manager was a fluffy, long-eared rabbit wearing a pink apron; to be honest, Mu Yin thought the rabbit looked even tastier than the cotton candy.

Ahem, there's a frequency mismatch.

"Your cotton candy is ready. There are 5 rabbit heads in total. Thank you for your patronage." The rabbit shopkeeper stood on a high stool and leaned forward to hand the cotton candy to Mu Yin, while extending another fluffy little paw.

"Can I pay by scanning a QR code?" Mu Yin subconsciously took out his phone, opened the payment interface, and asked.

"Small business, we don't accept any virtual currency." The rabbit shopkeeper pointed to the sign in front of him, then patted the table.

Although it's called slapping the table, it actually makes a really cute "cheep cheep cheep" sound. You could say that the rabbit shopkeeper is the biggest mascot of this cotton candy food truck; everything he does looks adorable.

“…Alright then.” Mu Yin’s lips twitched slightly. He put his phone back, took out five copper coins from his pocket and placed them on the table, then took the cotton candy.

"Could you please push it in a little? I can't reach it." The rabbit shopkeeper tried to stand on tiptoe and lean forward, but no matter what she did, she was just a little short of reaching the coin that Mu Yin had deliberately placed on the edge.

"Beg me," Mu Yin said slowly, taking a bite of his cotton candy.

Rabbit Shopkeeper: "..." Damn it, all he knows is how to bully rabbits!
Mu Yin watched as the rabbit shopkeeper used his extreme movements to grab the coins while munching on a cotton candy, finishing it in less than half a minute. He pulled out five more rabbit coins from his pocket and slammed them on the table, saying, "Another one, please."

The shopkeeper had just touched it, but Mu Yin's slap sent the coin flying again. This person definitely did it on purpose!

"Does the customer still want the strawberry flavor?" The rabbit shopkeeper scratched his long ears, then glanced at Mu Yin with murderous intent in his ruby-like eyes before politely asking.

"I want durian flavor this time," Mu Yin said casually, pointing to the rabbit-shaped characters on the menu that he couldn't understand at all.

The rabbit shopkeeper's three-lobed mouth twitched slightly. It really wanted to remind this person that he meant the mango flavor, but it still suppressed the urge to complain.

Finally, he managed to utter two very practical words: "Add more money."

"Isn't it enough to just add fragrance and coloring? Why do we have to pay extra?" Mu Yin blinked his dark golden vertical pupils, puzzled.

"We are a genuine, honest fruit and cotton candy shop!!" The rabbit shopkeeper bent down angrily, picked up a durian from below, slammed it on the table, casually peeled off a segment, and then threw the peel hard at Mu Yin.

We must be friendly to our guests; to hell with that rule!

Mu Yin tilted his head to dodge the durian peel attack from the rabbit shopkeeper, rolled his eyes, and said, "I didn't taste any strawberry flavor, just sugar."

This is absolutely 100% a deliberate provocation, and it's directed at Mu Yin.

He had originally intended to find circus flyers, but then found the circus parade too noisy and decided to go directly to the Amazing Circus's temporary tent. However, he was kicked out because he didn't have any flyers. Then, Mu Yin's short temper flared up, and he really didn't want to go anymore!

So I wandered over to Central Park and saw a very eye-catching pink cotton candy food truck in front of the fountain. What happened next is what just happened.

It can only be said that Mu Yin was bored and looking for trouble.

Because of the special nature of obtaining an invitation to the Amazing Circus, which requires the person to participate in person, Mu Yegui planned not to bother Mu Yin again until Mu Yin obtained the invitation. This emboldened someone to act even more recklessly.

"What is this? A durian peel? Who littered in this park?"

A voice came from behind, and Mu Yin involuntarily took two steps to make way for Boss Rabbit.

'Thud,' that's the sound of a durian peel falling into the trash can.

"Huh? They have cotton candy? Boss, give me two durian-flavored cotton candy." She walked over and said to the rabbit boss who was making cotton candy for Mu Yin.

With his neat, short, dark hair, a very casual-looking hoodie paired with light-colored shorts, he dressed very boyishly, yet he exuded a particularly handsome vibe.

"Why are they all durian flavored! Can't they change to another flavor?!" Rabbit Boss forcefully handed the durian-flavored cotton candy to Mu Yin while muttering to himself.

"Hmm..." Moya pondered for a moment, then suddenly called out to a woman behind him, "Koya, what flavor do you want?"

"Do whatever you want, I'm fine with anything," Ke Ya said softly, brushing aside some of her long hair that was obscuring her eyes.

Mu Yin chewed on a cotton candy, thinking that the two people seemed familiar, as if he had seen them somewhere before.

Where is it?
Suddenly, Ke Ya seemed to notice Mu Yin's presence, glancing up and down at the person draped in a black cloak, her tone tinged with doubt, "Mu Ye Gui?"

"I'm not expressionless. My name is Mu Yin. You are... that guy from the Golden Carrot dungeon?" Mu Yin was lucky to vaguely remember such a person. He wouldn't have any impression of people he didn't care about.

Ke Ya was slightly taken aback, then chuckled and said, "Sorry, I mistook you for someone else. But how do you know about the Golden Carrot instance? Did Mu Yegui tell you?"

Mu Yin gritted his teeth and muttered under his breath, "I have a strange feeling that I'm being tested."

The next second he tossed the skewer in his hand into the trash can beside him and casually said, "Yeah, you're here to get an invitation to the Amazing Circus?"

"Does Ke Ya know anyone?" Mo Ya handed Ke Ya one of the two strings of cotton candy, then suddenly froze when she glanced at Mu Yin.

This face, so exquisitely beautiful like a doll, with its fluffy, soft, naturally wavy hair and dark golden vertical pupils that seem almost animalistic, doesn't look human at all; it's practically a 1:1 lifelike doll!

"A doll? Or a human? Ahhh, so cute! Can I hug you?" Moya suddenly became excited and reached out to hug you, but stopped because of the sudden attack.

Mu Yin held a short sword to Mo Ya's throat with one hand, his cold vertical pupils staring at her silently. He said in a low voice, "You actually stopped on your own. If you dare to hug me, I'll immediately separate your head from your neck."
