Chapter 185, Section 112: Sher and Urias
Chapter 185, Section 1.12: Sher and Urias
"Is this outside?" Urias looked at the flowers in the garden outside the corridor with curiosity, gently loosened his hand from Mu Yegui's sleeve, and then ran into the garden.
The soft sunlight shone in the garden, casting golden glints on Urias's tender horns.
Because of your actions in the instance, Urias has appeared in this world as your apostle.
"Can a crown prince also have an apostle like the owner of the instance?" Mu Yegui stood on the corridor, watching Urias frantically swarming the butterflies, and asked slowly.
Theoretically, the Crown Prince, as someone of equal status to the owner of the instance, can possess Apostles without any restrictions. However, the Apostle's consent is required, and this consent is not limited to any particular method. Generally, the Crown Prince must possess at least one Apostle to meet the standard; currently, only you are considered a true Crown Prince.
"It seems that others don't know this." At least Xiao Yin certainly doesn't.
[The other princes didn't ask me these questions, did they?]
Phyllis's words were very clear: there are some things she will only answer if asked, otherwise she will remain silent and will not offer any advice no matter what happens.
As a conceptual entity within this world, it is perfectly qualified, clearly knowing its own role.
But what exactly is this conceptual entity?
Could it be something similar to the game AI that Nalanxu is currently developing?
If this is really the case, then what kind of existence is this world?
"What are you thinking about?" Shel's voice, slightly cool yet subtly tinged with worry and concern, came from beside me.
Mu Yegui turned to look at him. Xie Er looked a little haggard, but even so, it couldn't hide his stunningly handsome face that made people's hearts flutter. The haggardness only added to his unique charm, making him look so fragile that it made people feel sorry for him and wanted to hug him and comfort him.
Her long, misty white hair was scattered behind her head, swaying gently in the breeze and lifting strands of silver.
Her light golden eyes gazed at Mu Yegui with a hopeful longing for her care.
"I called you just now, but you didn't seem to hear me. Are you thinking about something?" Xie Er asked again when Mu Yegui didn't answer.
"Shel is really stubborn, even though I did it." Mu Yegui pursed her pink lips and said softly.
"..." Sher didn't say anything; he simply reached out and grabbed Mu Yegui's wrist to show his attitude.
Mu Yegui suddenly looked up at Xie Er, her silver vertical pupils meeting his light gold eyes. She smiled slightly and said slowly, "Now Xie Er is my older brother."
Sher was slightly taken aback. Almost immediately after hearing Mu Yegui's words, he grabbed her hand and pulled her into his arms, holding her tightly as if he wanted to never let go.
"As long as you still care about me... I don't want to lose you again..." Sher's voice was tinged with tears as he whispered his vulnerability in Mu Yegui's ear.
Mu Yegui reached out and gently patted Xie Er's back, seemingly to comfort her.
Sher's pride and arrogance never existed in front of Mu Yegui; he wholeheartedly trusted and relied on his family. The cold mask he wore in front of outsiders was merely a means of protection and disguise; he didn't want anyone to know his vulnerability, as long as the person in front of him understood him.
His only family...
As long as that person is still here...
I don't care about anything else.
"How old are you? Why are you acting like a child?" Mu Yegui took a few steps back to get away from Xie Er, but Xie Er held her sleeve tightly, as if afraid that she would slip away from him.
"Urias!" Mu Yegui called out to the little boy frolicking in the garden. "Huh?" Urias, with a flower in his mouth, looked at Mu Yegui blankly, completely not understanding why she was calling him.
"Come here," Mu Yegui said.
He scratched the slightly itchy corner of his mouth, and then ran towards Mu Yegui with the flower still in his mouth.
He said something to Mu Yegui, but because he had flowers in his mouth, it was impossible to hear what he was saying.
"An apostle?" Cold, light gold eyes swept over Urias, causing the latter to shrink back towards Mu Yegui. Then, the man's expression turned even colder, as if he were being challenged for favor.
“Yeah.” Urias looked up at Mu Yegui, then suddenly grabbed the flower from his mouth, made a face at Sher, and said.
Sher's expression grew even colder, but when he turned to look at Mu Yegui, his expression softened again, and he asked softly, "Can I help you train your new apostle?"
His light golden eyes glanced at Urias with a hint of murderous intent, clearly showing his extreme dislike for him, even though this boy looked like a little kid who hadn't even grown up yet.
"No, no, that won't do!" Urias glared at Sher and said angrily.
“Sure. I haven’t fully obtained the invitation to the September instance yet; I’m planning to go to the Fairy Tale Kingdom to get it. Urias will be yours to raise until the September instance ends, but don’t bully him too much.” Mu Yegui pondered what he needed to do next and agreed to Sher’s request without hesitation.
Even though Sher seemed to want to kill Urias, she didn't refuse in the slightest. After all, Sher was inherently a tsundere and would never actually lay a hand on Urias. No matter how much he looked like a lion, he was still a kitten.
"Waaaaah~ Does Master not want me anymore?" Urias cried. This is practically deep inside enemy territory! What kind of master sells out their apostle like this?! I want to find someone else!
the other side.
White dandelions bloom on the small hill covered with lush green grass.
The boy, holding a bunch of lilies, stood silently before a simple mound of earth topped with a stone. A gentle breeze ruffled his white hair, and dandelion blossoms danced in the air, chasing their way through the air.
His icy blue eyes were fixed on the stones on the small mound. He suddenly sighed softly, bent down slightly, and placed the bunch of white lilies in front of the mound.
Goodnight, Lanlos. Sweet dreams.
In the wind, only this sigh echoed faintly across the hill.
Dao Lin slowly walked down the hillside when he suddenly heard Fei Lu announce the birth of the new crown prince, causing him to pause slightly. He had a rough idea of who it was; ever since he learned from the tavern that Mu Yegui was in the royal city, he had been wondering if it was some kind of alternate version of the story.
The book that Mu Yegui used before must have been the royal prop she obtained, since she had never used it before.
I looked up at the clear blue sky. It was almost time. The circus seemed to be about to start its parade. I needed to get an invitation first.
The circus parade has begun, the Fischer Line has officially started, waaaaah, my husband's show is finally here!!!
