I'll also work hard to conquer the dungeon today.
Chapter 155, Section 111, Chapter 1: The Amnesiac Corridor
Chapter 155 1.11 1 The Hall of Amnesia
Mu Yegui looked down at her maid outfit, a hint of confusion in her expression. Had she forgotten something?
Why does it appear here?
Who is she?
Why would you wear these clothes?
"Ye Gui, what are you doing? The housekeeper is telling us to do things!" The maid beside her asked with a gentle smile.
"Who am I?" Mu Yegui blinked and asked, looking at her.
"Aren't you called Mu Yegui?" The maid looked at her in confusion, not understanding what she meant at all.
"Are we that familiar?" Mu Yegui asked again, his cool silver eyes filled with a hint of confusion.
The maid smiled and said, "Of course, we're good friends."
“It’s impossible for me not to remember my good friend, so you’re lying.” Mu Yegui took a step forward, grabbed the maid’s chin with both hands, leaned closer to her, and lowered his voice slightly, “Tell me, what are you hiding from me? If you don’t answer, I’ll kill you.”
The maid raised her hands in a gesture of surrender, her face deathly pale, and said fearfully, "Don't...don't do anything...I'll tell you everything..."
Two people observing from the shadows.
"Good! The fastest dungeon record belongs to you!" Ji Qi clapped his hands, chuckled, and praised Ji Qi.
Jealousy frowned, her mind filled with doubt. "This shouldn't be. How could it have been discovered so quickly? I've never had any problems with my script. It must be her fault."
Ji Qi squatted behind the bushes and looked at Jealousy, who was also squatting beside him, and said slowly, "Don't shirk responsibility. Look for the reasons within yourself. Isn't it because your script is too brain-dead, and this candidate is too smart, so he saw through it at a glance?"
"No, there can't be a problem with my script." Jealousy frowned, her expression slightly serious, and said slowly.
"So what? The fact is that your script can't proceed within a minute." Ji Qi squatted on the ground, still fanning himself. He usually gave people a graceful feeling, but now his posture was really unbearable to look at.
Jealousy watched that scene intently from between the leaves for a long time before finally speaking slowly in a low, husky, and cold voice, "Rewrite the script."
"I'm just jealous, no matter what..." With a hint of murderous intent in her dark orange eyes, Jealousy slowly stood up.
He reached out and used his left hand, painted with black nails, to fiercely grab his right arm, leaving a long, straight scratch. Blood gushed out from the five scratches, but instead of dripping to the ground, it floated in the air near his right arm, forming a blood chain.
Ji Qi stared blankly at the jealous action, momentarily forgetting to stop it.
"I won't allow anyone to be above me. Jealousy is truly addictive." Dark orange eyes flashed with murderous intent, and a twisted smile played on Jealousy's lips. His fingers, painted with black nail polish, pulled out a bloodstain from the air, forming a red line.
"Qi! Calm down!!" Ji Qi called out his name for the first time without Jealousy's permission.
[Longing for magnificent, luxurious castles]
Chasing after unrealistic dreams in one's heart,
They came singing all the way.
Avoiding the guards,
Pretending to be a maid,
In search of something that cannot exist.
In the secluded East Tower,
It hides a secret known only to its owner.
Searching for the golden key to open the tower.
Walk through the mysterious Ten Nights Corridor.
On the first night, offerings were made to the demon.
On the second night, the melodious voice will be stolen by the nightingale.
On the third night, the moonlight shines down, and you can never escape it.
On the fourth night, all was quiet.
On the fifth night, the treasure chest glittered in the darkness.
On the sixth night, darkness shrouds you and lingers for a long time.
On the seventh night, feet were gouged out.
The eighth night, the heart was ripped out. The ninth night, the demons descended.
On the tenth night, no one survived.
The East Tower stands proudly and lonely.
I. The secret scroll remained unknown to the public.
Second, the fragments of the dream reappear.
Third, you will have everything.
Fourth, it can make deals with demons.
A beautiful yet cruel dream, one that everyone is willing to go crazy for.
If I can accomplish all of this, I will bow my head and offer my faith in eternal life.
Ji Qi stared intently at the earnest jealousy on his face and sighed deeply.
He shook his head, stood up, and left quietly without saying a word.
Tears welled in her dark orange eyes as she gazed silently down the long corridor with a mixture of jealousy and sorrow. Five distinct, bloody welts marred her fair right wrist, making her look both ferocious and terrifying.
Jealousy suddenly chuckled softly, a laugh tinged with sadness and despair. Looking at his wound, he murmured, "You really are untrustworthy. Since that's the case, I don't want to wait for you anymore..."
"Since no one calls this name 'Qi,' it might as well not exist at all; it's long since lost its meaning." Jealousy stared intently at Mu Yegui, who stood in the corridor, a chilling killing intent surfacing in his dark orange eyes.
He snorted coldly, turned around and left without looking back.
Mu Yegui released his grip on the maid's chin and glanced back at the bushes where the two of them had been.
A hint of confusion flickered in her cool, silver eyes. Had someone been hiding there just now? This clump of bushes seemed somewhat familiar; it was as if she had seen it somewhere before.
"P-Can you please let me go?" The maid asked Mu Yegui, her eyes trembling with tears.
Mu Yegui remained silent, then nodded.
The maid staggered several times, running away as if something was chasing her. Even when she fell to the ground, she quickly got up and continued running.
Mu Yegui: "..." Is she that scary? She was just asking a friendly question.
However, she still didn't know why she was there.
On one of the white stone pillars in the corridor, something seemed to be shimmering.
Mu Yegui was slightly taken aback, then slowly walked over. Her cool, silver eyes quietly watched it. It was a yellow rose, but it was being held in the mouth of a large, winged sea serpent, as if it were about to swallow it whole.
When her slender, fair fingertips lightly touched the mysterious totem, a series of memories were suddenly flooded into her mind.
His cold, silver eyes were deep and lifeless, as calm as an ancient pool, like a bottomless abyss into which one would never return.
"I am searching for a golden key to unlock the forbidden East Tower and obtain the secrets buried in history."
Mu Yegui looked down at the sword and shield engraving on the black ring on his left middle finger, his tone slightly puzzled, "What does that key look like?"
No one answered Mu Yegui. A gentle breeze ruffled her long, gray, curly hair, and her delicate, beautiful face remained as calm as ever.
A new instance is here.
