Chapter 153, Section 110: Strange Things
Chapter 153, Section 1.10: Strange Things
Mu Yegui gazed at the blooming flowers in the courtyard outside the French windows. Sunlight poured down on her, making her long, gray, curly hair appear even lighter in color, as if it were shimmering with golden light.
"I want to go to the tavern, but I'm locked inside by a barrier." Mu Yegui stretched out her hand, but despite the wide-open French windows, her hand couldn't reach outside and instead touched an invisible wall of air, isolating her from the outside world.
“Let’s switch, and see if I get blocked too,” Mu Yin said.
Mu Yegui nodded, slowly closed his eyes, and when he opened them again, he saw those cold, dark gold vertical pupils.
Mu Yin stretched and then took off her dress without hesitation. Standing naked in front of the dressing mirror, she looked at herself thoughtfully before putting on a white shirt and a pair of cocoa plaid overalls.
"I don't want to wear a skirt, I don't want to wear a skirt, I don't want to wear a skirt," Mu Yin muttered to herself.
"Isn't the dress pretty?" Mu Yegui asked, puzzled.
"It's practically useless." After getting dressed, Mu Yin said this as he walked to the door and raised his foot to kick it.
"Wait!" Mu Yegui called out to Mu Yin, "Go through the window, don't get caught."
"I'm not locked up, why should I go through the window?" Mu Yin frowned and said with dissatisfaction. Although he said that, he still obediently chose to jump out of the window.
After landing safely, he looked up at the floor-to-ceiling window and asked, "Do you want to come back like a thief later?"
Mu Yegui responded softly, "Mm."
"Do you have to be so obedient? Even if you swagger away, what can they do to you?" Mu Yin chuckled, but ultimately did not refute Mu Yegui's words.
The east building was heavily guarded, with soldiers patrolling everywhere.
Mu Yin stood in the courtyard, gazing at the long corridor supported by white stone pillars. Suddenly, he saw a figure approaching. Just as he was about to walk over, he remembered Mu Yegui's words and could only crouch down and hide in the bushes. He reached out and gently brushed aside the leaves, peering through the gaps at the corridor.
"Sir, what if they tear up the bill?" Jill asked, running ahead of Sher.
“They won’t tear it.” Sheldon paused, glancing at the bushes where Mu Yin was, his expression as cold as ever. “Some bugs have gotten in. Send someone to catch them.”
"Yes!" Jill stood up straight and ran off with Sher's orders.
Sher stood there in the corridor, staring intently at the bushes. A gentle breeze ruffled his long, misty white hair that draped behind his head, and a hint of murderous intent flickered in his light golden eyes.
"Come out." His voice was cold and ruthless, as chilling as a winter's chill.
Mu Yin frowned slightly. Who was this person? Why did he notice him so quickly?
To be honest, he didn't really want to confront this person head-on, not because he felt he couldn't beat him, but because he had a gut feeling it would be troublesome and could lead to a series of complicated issues.
Before Mu Yin could finish thinking, a cold voice came, and soldiers in silver armor surrounded the bushes where Mu Yin was hiding with their swords.
Sher strolled over slowly, his light gold eyes coldly fixed on the bushes, and said icily, "Do I need to ask you to come out?"
Mu Yin pursed his lips. There was no other way but to force his way in!
Mu Yin placed his hand on the hilt of the short sword at his waist, his eyes narrowing slightly. Just as he was about to force a breakthrough, a commotion broke the tense atmosphere.
"My lord! Lord Jealousy and Lord Wrath are fighting again!!" Jafar rushed over, his handsome face showing a hint of distress.
"I understand, lead the way." Sher frowned slightly, wondering what was wrong with these two now.
"Hey, hey, how did you recognize Jafar?" Jill asked curiously.
"Just look at the hair color. Even if you don't know what someone looks like, you can still recognize them by remembering the key features," Jafar said proudly, raising his eyes.
"Oh, I see..." Gil exclaimed, explaining why Jafar, despite being face-blind, could accurately identify people. The voice faded into the distance, leaving only a group of soldiers staring at each other in bewilderment.
"Just knock them out; it would be troublesome if they hurt them," Mu Yegui warned.
Mu Yin nodded, and within seconds he had knocked all the soldiers surrounding him unconscious. However, the wounds on his face looked rather serious.
"What happened to the rule of not hitting someone in the face?" Mu Yegui asked, puzzled.
"It's precisely because slapping someone in the face hurts that people remember them." Mu Yin snorted coldly, then skillfully avoided the soldiers and returned to the royal city.
The capital city was just as bustling as when I first visited, filled with leisurely players.
Shui Qi stood in front of the fountain, waved to Mu Yin, and asked with a smile, "I've finally waited for you."
Mu Yin was slightly taken aback. Although he didn't quite understand what Shui Qi meant, he still walked over on his own.
Shui Qi casually handed him a newspaper, "Open it and take a look."
What's so interesting about newspapers...?
Mu Yin opened the newspaper, and the first page featured a string of bold text: "[Candidate Mu Yegui has violated the rules and is now imprisoned in solitary confinement for three months]." It was even written three times as if afraid that others would not see it.
Mu Yin: "..." Now I'm really famous.
He casually flipped through other newspaper reports, and the original list of crown princes was pitifully relegated to a corner because of Mu Yegui's public reprimand.

"What's going on?" Mu Yin frowned. Why were all the things related to Ling Tong displayed as '???'? Was it because they couldn't be displayed, or was there some other reason?
“I asked Feilu, and she said there was nothing unusual,” Shui Qi shook her head and said softly.
"Why are you telling me?" Mu Yin turned his head, his dark golden vertical pupils fixed on Shui Qi, as if trying to find a clue in his expression.
Shui Qi chuckled and shook her head, saying, "Probably because you're easier to fool." Then she left.
Mu Yin: "..." I want to chop him up!
However, Shui Qi's words should be true; he has no reason to lie about something he could easily find out by asking.
So what exactly was his purpose in doing this?
He didn't seem to have appeared in front of Shui Qi, so why was Shui Qi able to tell the difference between him and Mu Yegui?
Filled with doubt, Mu Yin walked into the tavern. "Boss, what's the status of the bounty I posted?!"
