Chapter 50 Returning Home
The morning was shrouded in mist, and the sun was rising slowly in the east. The light passed through the sparse mist, forming a light red halo around.

The mountains overlap and overlap, and from nowhere you can hear dull or sharp animal roars, reminding people that this is not a fairyland, but a mountain range of spirit beasts full of murderous intent!

Liuyun stared at the stone carvings on the wall and counted. This was the twelfth month she had been here, a whole year!

When she first came, it was May, a good time for flowers to sprout and bloom, and it is still the same now!

It’s time to go back!

There was no reason to linger here. I simply packed up my things and turned to head towards the waterfall.

In the past six months, she has come here almost every day to practice swordsmanship and has made some progress.

She took out the papers that Jiang Mubai had given her before he left, scattered ten of them and threw them into the water. She moved with arrogant lotus steps and in the blink of an eye she had landed on a piece of paper. She tapped the paper with her toes, and the paper was not torn or wrinkled, and there was not even a ripple.

The sword tip sometimes stabbed, sometimes slashed sideways, and sometimes swept across the air, but no matter what angle it was, she always handled it with ease, like a dragon emerging from the sea or a phoenix soaring into the sky.

After the last sword was swung, Liuyun had no other thoughts and disappeared into the dense jungle, heading towards the exit of the mountain.

Her horse was well-fed in the stable. The stable owner said that Xiong Dan had specifically instructed that the horse be fed the best feed. Liuyun took some silver as a reward and rode towards Wangxian Town.

After a long journey, he finally arrived back at the Ye Mansion before dark. He still had to go through the necessary etiquette and went to pay a visit to his father and stepmother first. After some inquiries, he returned to his humble home. The people in his humble home had already received the news when Liuyun stepped into the gate of the Ye Mansion, and they had been waiting at the gate since early morning.

"Yun'er!" Bai saw her figure from afar and called out softly with full of longing.

"Mom!" Liuyun trotted a few steps and threw himself into Bai's arms.

"How is my Yun'er doing? She has become thinner and taller." Bai looked at every part of her carefully, her nose felt sore, and tears fell down.

"My daughter is fine. I'm sorry that I missed you!" She raised her hand to wipe away Bai's tears. She was already thin, and now she looked even thinner. "Mother has lost even more weight!"

"Miss, Aunt, let's go inside and talk! The wind is strong today, I'm afraid you caught a cold!" Qiuyan also wiped the corners of her eyes. She was watching the mother and son meet from the side and really couldn't bear to disturb them. But Aunt's health has become weaker recently, and she really can't stand the wind anymore!

"Qiuyan is right! Mother! Let's go inside and talk slowly!" Liuyun helped Bai into the main room and told her everything he had seen, heard, and encountered in the past few days. Of course, she glossed over the dangerous parts.

Even though it was so light, Bai's face still turned pale and blue. She clenched her handkerchief tightly in both hands and wiped her tears from time to time. Her heart was in a knot. Fortunately, Liuyun was sitting in front of her with all his limbs intact, and the terrifying experience was over.

Seeing that the mother and daughter had almost finished talking, Qiuyan smiled and said, "Young lady, you must be exhausted after traveling all the way. The servants have boiled some hot water. Would you like to relax?"

The words awakened Bai from his dream, and he finally came out of his expectation, worry, uneasiness and happiness.

"Go quickly! I almost forgot you just got back! You look so exhausted, go take a hot bath and relax! We can talk tomorrow if you have anything to say!"

"Mother is just too concerned and confused. Your daughter knows it all!"

Liuyun bid farewell to Bai and returned to his room. He took off the sword at his waist and his dusty clothes, then lay down in the bathtub, closed his eyes comfortably, and contentedly enjoyed his own leisure time.

Qiuyan would pour hot water slowly on her shoulders from time to time, letting the water flow slowly across her neck and shoulders, and then she would use her fingers to massage the hollow of her neck with moderate force to relieve her fatigue from traveling for many days.

"Miss, Cui Tai has been coming to our house frequently in recent months. I don't know when. After he came, he would talk with the master and the mistress in Minghui Hall for an hour or two. We have tried to find out everything, but we can't find out anything!"

"Well, he never comes here for no reason. Since he's here, it's definitely not good! Besides..." Liuyun used his hand to cut through the water, and his playful fingers circled around the petals. After a while, the small petals were sucked down by the whirlpool. Liuyun seemed to be having a lot of fun, and murmured, "The Cui family hasn't had a good time these past few months!"

"Miss, did you also hear about what happened in the Cui family on the way?" Qiuyan suddenly smiled, as if she was very satisfied with what happened in the Cui family.

"It's such a big fuss, how could I not know about it?! If he could easily resolve it, wouldn't all my efforts be in vain!"

"Three months after the young lady left, the brother of the Wang family told me that the Cui family had gone crazy and turned the top of their tower upside down! The top of the tower had just been repaired and was magnificent. After this incident, they had to start all over again."

"He deserves it! What about three months later?" Liuyun lay on his back in the barrel calmly, as if he had already anticipated everything.

"Three months later, I handed the second letter you left to the Cui family, and then Cui Tai ordered the ancestral hall to be demolished."

"Ha! This old bastard! He really risks everything for Cui Yan'er!" Liuyun couldn't help laughing out loud.

For the Cui family, that tower is the ancestral heritage, the symbol of the family, and the glory of the Cui family. Since the day the tower was built, it has been a foundation for more than hundreds of years. It has been in the Cui family!

Cui Tai's actions as the head of the main family may have made the branch family very dissatisfied!

"So, Miss, what did you write in those two letters? It can make Cui Tai tear down the tower."

"Cui Yan'er is Cui Tai's favorite. For Cui Yan'er, this old man would poke a hole in the sky, let alone a tower!" Liuyun briefly described Cui Tai's psychology and said,

"The first letter told him that the medicine was hidden under the fifth tile at the top of the tower!"

"The fifth tile?" Qiu Yan repeated it silently, and after thinking for a moment, he suddenly realized, "No wonder the entire top of the tower was blown off. It's hard to say where the fifth tile is. How should I count from the top or the bottom, from the left or the right to count as the fifth tile? And the top of the tower is round!"

"Hahaha! You understand things pretty quickly, girl!"

"And the second letter?"

"Well, it's not that difficult actually. I just have a problem with his family." Liuyun said.

"That day I sneaked into Cui's house, and there happened to be a huge pit on the ground, and there was a huge and thick wood outside, so I buried the bottle of elixir at the bottom of the pit."

"Ah! So, after the wood is buried in the pit, the only way to get it out is to dismantle the tower. No wonder Cui Tai went crazy and smashed the house to pieces in those days! I heard that in those days, even if the dog wanted to bark, it had to consider Cui Tai's mood!"

"Pfft!" Liu Yunle smiled broadly, "I'm already being very polite. Humph! I don't know where the Cui family's ancestral tomb is. If I knew, let him dig it up!"
