Chapter 379 Martin's Handle

Chapter 379 Martin's Handle

After leaving the studio, Martin, Nicholson and Leonardo took two cars to the hotel where the crew was staying.

The latter two entered the lobby first, and after waiting for a while, Martin came in from outside.

The three of them were just about to go upstairs.

A familiar figure came out from the hotel's revolving door.

As soon as Bell came in, he saw Martin and his two companions.

The already manic emotions these days have begun to churn again.

Martin was very polite, carrying forward the spirit of a British gentleman, and took the initiative to greet him as if he were a close friend: "Chris, come over here, I'll introduce two friends to you."

Bell knew Leonardo and Nicholson without Martin's introduction.

The latter was the culprit that caused his sponge to tear.

Bell stared at the three bastards, focusing on Nicholson. His eyes were red, as if he could emit heat rays. Not even a trace of the three scumbags would be left.

Martin said: "We are all friends. If we get to know each other, we can help each other in the future."

Nicholson was much more direct than Martin, and he smiled at Bell.

The badass trio's most courageous member was standing nearby. Nicholson raised his hand and made a gesture of firing a shoulder-mounted rocket launcher.

He moved his lips and made a "bang" sound with his mouth.

Bale seemed to hear fireworks exploding in his ears, and seemed to see Cate Blanchett slipping, and felt a sudden sharp pain in his lower body.

Michael Caine came out of the turnstile and saw all this.

As a fellow British actor, he took two quick steps and patted Bale: "Didn't you say you would buy me a drink today?"

Bell turned his head and looked at Kane.

Kane noticed that his eyes were red and his jaw muscles were trembling, like Batman angered by the Joker. He grabbed his arm and said, "Come on, let's go have a drink together."

Bell relaxed and followed Kane toward the elevator.

Kane advised: "Don't bother with those vulgar Americans. They will only lower the noble character we insist on to their super low level, and then use those boring ways to defeat us."

Bell nodded slightly: "Those three bastards are all perverts."

Kane patted his arm. "Ignore them."

Bell took a deep breath and tried to calm down, but the negative things that had accumulated from one thing to another were not so easy to dissipate.

He seemed calm on the surface, but in fact all his anger and hatred were suppressed in his heart.

Instead of going upstairs, the two went to the hotel bar to drink.

Watching Kane and Bell turn into the elevator, Martin pointed at Nicholson and said, "Look at you, you scared him away. I wanted to have a good chat with him."

Nicholson said, "What are you talking about? Why is it torn apart again?"

Leonardo pushed the two men forward: "You two bastards, can you do something human?"

In the western restaurant on one side of the lobby, Scott walked out of the connected side door with his legs apart. He saw Martin across from him and said to the person behind him, "Martin and Leonardo."

Sophia took a few quick steps, passed Scott, and waved towards Martin: “Would you like to introduce these two.”

Martin made introductions for the female King Kong with Leonardo and Nicholson.

When Leonardo shook hands with someone, he felt his hand was pinched twice on purpose. This provocative gesture, performed by the blonde, long-legged supermodel, can make people's hearts flutter.

When Sofia did it, Leonardo felt like his hand bones were about to be broken and his mouth twitched in pain.

Seeing this, Nicholson simply didn't shake hands with Sophia, but just smiled and nodded.

Sophia took the initiative to invite: "Martin and I are friends. It's not easy to meet big stars like you here. I'll treat you to a drink?"

Leonardo hid his right hand behind his back and kept moving it, and he felt a little better.

Nicholson glanced at the fat on Sophia's face and her body that was stronger than Tyson's, and declined politely: "We have important work to discuss with Martin."

As he spoke, he glanced at Martin.

Nicholson was doing a righteous thing, and Martin was not vague, saying, "Very important work."

"Then let's wait for the next opportunity." Sophia didn't force it. She said something polite and took Scott to the hotel bar.

Martin and the other two entered the VIP elevator room and took the special elevator upstairs.

Leonardo asked Martin: "Is she one of your financial sponsors?"

This is no secret, and Martin has no need to deny it: "Several of the films I starred in had her investment."

Nicholson patted Martin's shoulder sympathetically: "It's not easy."

"You really have it hard." Leonardo recalled the figure of the female King Kong: "Sure enough, when you were in Atlanta, you were not lying when you said that the situation was difficult."

Martin said, "Do you think she fits my aesthetic?"

Leonardo said: "You can't tell. Your tastes change..."

…………

In the hotel bar, because he was a bit old, Michael Kane had one drink, then said goodbye and went back to his room.

Bell was upset. The monster that had been gradually cultivated in his heart was ready to move after being provoked. He didn't want to go back, so he just continued drinking alone. Before long, he drank half of the bottle of whiskey.

Bell's cell phone rang, and it was the lawyer calling.

It was still early and the bar wasn't too crowded, and he started to tremble as he answered the phone.

Hibby returned to Los Angeles and filed for divorce!
Bell had a bad temper and his self-esteem was hurt by Hibby's trouble-making. He was too lazy to say anything more and hung up the phone directly.

When he looked up, he found a woman walking towards him with a smirk on her face.

"Hi, Chris." Sophia was a little surprised by Bell's condition: "What happened? Are you tired?"

Bell thought that this man knew Martin and didn't want to talk to him.

Sophia pulled out a chair opposite him and sat down, saying, "Are you still in a bad mood?"

Bell didn't answer and asked, "Are you a friend of Martin Davis?"

"Friend? Haha..." Sophia was prepared and said with a smile: "I am his former boss. He is my tool to make money. When he was in Atlanta, he was my gigolo."

"Male dancer?" Bell seemed a little surprised.

Sophia shrugged. "Bartender and gigolo, where do you think he learned his striptease in Zombie Gigolo?"

Bell wanted to know more about Martin's past. After all, it would not hurt to know more about your opponent. "It seemed that you had a special relationship that day."

"Because I want to get to know you." Sophia was very confident: "So, he can only take me to get to know you."

This didn't match Bell's perception. He took a new wine glass and poured Sofia a glass of wine: "Does he respect you? Or is he afraid of you?"

Sophia smiled with all her might: "Of course he's afraid of me! Martin is a big star now, but to me, he's still that stripper."

She picked up the wine, took a big sip, and deliberately said, "I have a lot of leverage over him. Even now, he doesn't dare to offend me.
After hearing Martin's evidence, Bell suddenly became interested and cheered up a little: "I didn't expect you to bring out a big star."

Sophia added: "I never thought that a man who did so many lousy things could become a big star in Hollywood."

The two had a lot of common topics in this regard and chatted animatedly for a while.

Bell went around in circles trying to find out what he called Martin's weakness.

Sophia smiled but said nothing, instead she kept urging people to drink.

Bell realized where the problem was. Compared to Martin, he was more unfamiliar with Sofia. If he wanted to find out this important information, he had to be closer to Sofia.

How can I quickly get closer to a woman?
As soon as he thought of this question, Bell felt a dull pain down there, and he lost interest and felt bored.

Sofia turned the topic back to fitness.

Bell perked up a little and started chatting with Sophia, an area in which he had a lot of experience.

After finishing a bottle of wine, the topic of fitness became more interesting. Sophia invited him, "I opened a fitness club on Peachtree Street. Why don't we go there together and exchange experiences while practicing."

Bell drank a lot and quickly, and felt that he could not hold on any longer. He declined, saying, "Let's do it another day. I drank too much today."

Facing such a Hollywood star, Sofia didn't dare to mess around in public and said, "Let's do it another day."

She handed Bell a business card: "It has the address of the gym. You can come to see me anytime."

Bell put it away, paid the bill, staggered out of the bar and took the elevator upstairs.

When he returned to the room and hadn't finished taking a shower yet, his wife Xibi called him and told him in person that she wanted a divorce.

An argument broke out between the two.

During the conversation, Hill again used words like "disgusting troublemaker", which made Bell so angry that he hung up the phone and threw it down again.

…………

During this visit, Nicholson and Leonardo only stayed in Atlanta for two days.

On the day Michael Caine's character was filmed, the two also prepared to leave and return to Los Angeles.

Leonardo was well-informed and when he learned about the Joker statue-related products, he specifically asked Martin for some original Joker statues to enrich his collection.

He was something of an art collector, having acquired large collections in North America and Europe.

Martin also gave Nicholson a lot of them.

Whether or not Nicholson did it for fun or to have fun, it certainly helped him.

Martin did not see them off when the two men left.

Before leaving, Nicholson wandered around the entrance of the studio for a few rounds, attracting a large number of entertainment reporters.

"Jack, have you seen the crew's filming and Martin's new Joker?" A reporter immediately asked, "How do you feel about it?"

The reporter's expected criticism did not happen. Nicholson did not play by the rules at all and said, "When God favors a person, he not only gives him an outstanding appearance, but also gives him extraordinary talent."

Another reporter asked, "What do you mean?"

Nicholson said: "I am looking forward to the Dark Knight version of the Joker. You will see what kind of character Martin Davis has created when you see it."

After saying that, he got in the car and left the studio.

The news quickly reached the studio, and Nolan called the screenwriter during a break in filming and said, "The draft will be included in the real footage."
