Chapter 172 Broken Heart
On Christmas Eve, most of the tenants who stayed behind came to the rooftop for a party. Bruce specifically went to a few male circles and found that many people were discussing Nevada's dirty laundry.

Mene said eloquently: "Based on my experience of following Washington for 20 years, I can tell that there is definitely something fishy going on in this matter."

He looked at Martin and Antonio and said, "Boss, Anthony, this is what I'm thinking. Will the Pentagon conduct biological weapons experiments there? Create a humanoid weapon that has no sense of pain and only knows how to kill crazily?"

Martin picked up his glass and said, "It's a waste if you don't become a screenwriter."

Mene smiled awkwardly: "I've been helping Bradt with his adaptation of Wanted recently, and I've been quite influenced by him."

Antonio patted his basketball-like belly and asked Martin, "Are you going to be the leading actor again?"

Martin nodded: "About the same. A new movie will be released in early February next year, and there is another movie to be filmed later. I will definitely be the protagonist in both movies."

"You've become a big star, it's not appropriate for you to live here anymore." Antonio was very considerate of himself: "I'm not trying to drive you away, but if a paparazzi offered me six figures to install a pinhole camera in your room, I couldn't refuse."

Mene said, “You are so direct.”

Antonio turned to look at Bruce who was walking back: "I want to make money, but I'm afraid of perverts."

Martin took a sip of wine and said, "Don't worry, Old Bull won't blow anyone's head off."

Antonio moved his butt and thought to himself, I'm not afraid of a headshot. He said, "If you want to change houses, you can come to me and I'll introduce you to one."

Martin was curious: "Do you have any property to sell?"

"No." Antonio raised his head: "But I know a lot of rich people."

He stated a fact: "Don't forget, when I was a millionaire, you were still a bunch of poor people."

Mene looked at Anthony, who was as fat as a ball, and then looked at himself, who was handsome and elegant. He thought that society was really unfair. Why were the rich always these greasy old men?
Martin had a drink with Antonio: "No problem, I'll find you when I need to buy a house."

Bruce is back.

Jessica and Emily followed and toasted with Martin: "Merry Christmas!"

Martin raised his glass: "Merry Christmas!"

Jessica finished her drink and said, “There’s an express from Atlanta. I’ll collect it for you.”

Martin nodded: "I'll get it later."

At around ten o'clock, Mene prepared to return to his residence.

Before leaving, he said to Martin, "Boss, you paid the fine for me. No matter what, as long as you need me, in a word, I am yours!"

Martin pushed him and said, "Go back quickly. What do I want you to do?"

Bruce put his arm around Mene's neck and joked, "I just want your mouth and tongue."

Mene said seriously: "I will lick whoever you ask me to lick." He glanced at Antonio: "Even the fat landlord is fine."

Martin waved his hand and said directly: "When I need you, I won't be polite to you."

Mene was the first to leave the top floor.

After a while, Martin and Bruce came downstairs together.

Jessica and Emily followed.

Martin went to get the express and stood at the door, while Jessica went into the living room to get it.

The petite Emily stood at the entrance, looked up at Martin, and suddenly asked: "Martin, don't you have a date tonight?"

Martin replied casually, "No."

Emily lowered her voice: "You can stay here, Jesse won't object."

Jessica came over with the package and heard it, but she neither agreed nor refuted.

Martin shrugged. "Annie drained me when she went back to New York."

He took the express from Jessica and returned to his apartment.

Emily closed the door and asked, "He doesn't like us?"

Jessica is young, but smarter than Emily: "You and I work at the Hills Have Eyes studio because of his recommendation. Strictly speaking, we are his employees."

Emily didn't understand what this meant.

Jessica was helpless and patted Emily's chest: "Your brain is all here!"

On the other side, Martin returned to the apartment.

Bruce was surprised: "You're back?"

Martin found the wallpaper knife and unpacked it, but he said something else: "You are my manager, who specializes in doing bad things."

The first sentence sounded very pleasant, but the second sentence made Old Bull want to draw his gun: "Because you are a rotten person who always causes trouble."

"So, I need an assistant to manage the blog, communicate with fans, and handle daily affairs." Martin asked: "This position is very important. Who do you think is suitable?"

Bruce thought of Kim Kardashian and Paris Hilton. The more glorious the former was after her betrayal, the more embarrassed the latter was.

He thought for a moment and said, "I feel Jessica is more suitable. She has simple social relationships, is a bit smart, and is easy to control."

Martin said, "She went to art school, worked in Hollywood, and is a bit smart. She's more suitable than hiring a stranger." "Keep a proper distance, especially in relationships between men and women." Bruce suddenly thought of something sad.

Isn't that what happened to him? He got drunk by his former boss, and then... he left quickly.

It was because he was a good man and Vincent treated him well, so he didn't target his former employer.

Martin opened the package and found the gifts Harris had mailed to him: a star made of crystal, a star map made of copper plate inlaid with rhinestones, and a high-end and classy certificate.

This set, plus the shipping fee, would cost at least $100.

Bruce came over to look through it, and the more he looked, the more interesting it became: "Give me a set, and I'll give it to Jin."

Martin said, "She got excited and asked you to take a picture?"

Bruce looked heavy-hearted: "It's almost time. I decided to take a photo with her. We'll say goodbye after the photo shoot."

"You're going to be a world-class celebrity." Martin had no doubt about it. Kim Kardashian, who had awakened, was definitely a master of hype. He exclaimed: "Maybe she'll be more famous than the other Bruce, a world-renowned top celebrity."

Bruce said, "Of course I'll be the one controlling it. I won't show my face."

Martin lost interest: "No face? That's boring."

Bruce asked Martin to get him a star gift, and then said, "You should go to bed early. I will go to see Jin to celebrate Christmas."

Martin sadly discovered that he had become a lonely man.

Fortunately, before going to bed, I received a call from Louise: "Thank you for the Christmas gift."

"You're welcome. This is specially prepared for you." Martin said deliberately: "The bartender can not only create original recipes, but also improve existing recipes. The improved recipes of three classic cocktails are more suitable for modern tastes."

He mailed Christmas gifts to not only Louise, but also to his friends in Atlanta such as Kelly Gray, Elena and Lily, as well as his partners such as Vincent and Sophia.

Louise realized that she hadn't prepared a Christmas gift for Martin. Thinking about Martin's various heartwarming actions after the failure of "Alexander the Great", she said softly, "I will take over the preliminary preparations for Wanted. You can focus on preparing for the role and leave all the chores to me... Well, we will leave for Hong Kong the day after tomorrow, and all the expenses will be on me."

Martin smiled: "It feels so good to be kept."

Louise said: "Not just you and me, but also Angelina Jolie."

Martin was surprised: "Why is she attending the annual meeting of the Bartenders Association? She also wants to be a bartender?"

Louise said simply, "Julie is going to Cambodia and will be transferring from Hong Kong City."

Martin had a vague impression that some of the children Julie adopted were from Southeast Asia. He thought for a moment and then said, "You are in charge of the wanted list yourself, so it's a good opportunity to invite Julie to play Fox. You've read Bradt's script outline. Cool Girl is a good fit for Julie."

Louise was surprised: "You still dare to invite her? The market response to Tomb Raider 2, Mobile Murder, and this one is very average. Are you sure she can make a comeback?"

Strictly speaking, Jolie has messed up three movies in a row. If "Mr. and Mrs. Smith" fails, she will basically be finished in Hollywood.

But Jolie managed to make a comeback thanks to the scandal with Pitt.

What’s even more frightening is that Jolie has no public relations and all responses come from her own.

Martin said, "Surely her pay will go down?"

Louise said: "I am sure that I can invite her with $500 million and make her grateful to me, but her appeal..."

"I heard that Jolie and Pitt were involved when they were filming Mr. and Mrs. Smith." Martin could only say: "Scandal is not necessarily a bad thing. If Jolie had exposed it herself and worked with the film company to hype it up... audiences often only care about the popularity, regardless of whether it is a scandal."

Louise said directly: "You are gambling."

Martin said: "In fact, I am the main character. If she becomes popular, it will be the icing on the cake. If she doesn't become popular, she won't become a burden."

He thought more: "Besides, if she doesn't expose it, we can still expose it for her."

Louise has seen a lot of such bad people and bad things. She thought from a Hollywood perspective: "If Jolie takes away Pitt, and you intervene as a third party and take away Jolie, wow..."

She became excited: "Just thinking about it makes me feel it's exciting. This movie is going to be a blast."

Martin asked, "Do you think this is feasible?"

Louise thought about it carefully and felt that it was feasible, so she said, "I will have a good talk with Julie when I meet her."

Meanwhile, at a party in Century City.

Thomas met Anne Hathaway's agent Maha.

The two took the initiative to find a quiet place to chat.

Maha said directly: "Annie and Martin are tied together. They are very popular in the media. They are both relatively young. There are some things we need to keep a close eye on for them."

Thomas thought that his man was more clear-headed than anyone else, but he agreed with Maha: "I have communicated with Martin, and he agreed to cooperate."

Maha was relieved: "Annie too." She emphasized: "Annie is still very young, and so is Martin. They are both in the rising stage of their careers. You must tell Martin to take protective measures. I don't want Annie to get pregnant."

"Martin will do a good job." Thomas believes Martin in this respect: "Next, let's discuss the rhythm and plan of the two people's exposure. They should not be out of the media and public view, but also should not cause disgust."

The two agents were worried about their clients' love.
