Chapter 15 Why Humans Go Extinct

Chapter 15 Why Humans Go Extinct

In the classroom of the Methodist Association's training center, Elena was flipping through the training materials distributed by the teacher. She recognized the individual letters and most of the words, but when they were combined into sentences, she couldn't understand what they meant.

The computer software operation explained by the teacher on the podium was almost like a mystery.

This is a free skills training provided to believers by the Methodist Church and the Methodist Association in collaboration.

Because free food was distributed after the training, Elena held back and did not leave even though she was drowsy.

There's enough food for breakfast tomorrow, and counting Martin's idiot, we'll save at least $6.

Harris wants to apply to college, but even if he goes to a cheap public school, the cost is still high.

These troubles were so complicated that Elena's head exploded.

After finally getting through the training, Juliet at the next table asked, "Are you going to the mutual aid meeting tomorrow afternoon?"

“I haven’t thought about it yet.” Even though Elena’s face was thicker than the wall, she still found it ridiculous.

Juliet was enthusiastic: "Come on, let's go together. Ms. Jennifer will host tomorrow afternoon and bring gifts."

Hearing about the gift, Elena restrained the swear words that came out of her mouth and said, "I'll think about it and give you an answer tomorrow morning."

There are mutual aid meetings organized by the Methodist Association every week.

After Elena received the food, she came out of the training center. The headlights of the Ford flashed, illuminating the night. She ran over and got on the passenger seat.

Martin started the car and turned to take a look: "There are a lot of good things."

"Of course!" Elena put two large paper bags on the back seat: "Who would listen to these idiotic classes if we don't give them out?"

Martin said from the side: "Learn more skills and find a stable job."

“I just want to make money,” Elena said.

Martin knew her family's situation and said, "I got a job from my boss and need help. If you do a good job, you will get at least $500."

This is included in the club's separate expenses.

Elena thought about the last time: "Stupid Harris breaks his arm again? I have no problem with that."

"No need to be so cruel." Martin said roughly: "Are you familiar with the people in the Methodist Association?"

Elena shrugged: "Fortunately, I can talk to them. They are all extremely conservative people."

She remembered what Juliet said: "The Methodist Church will have a mutual aid meeting tomorrow. It is said that an important person named Jennifer will host it and will bring gifts. I hope they are not the damn paper cranes and lucky stars."

Martin thought for a while and said, "Will you take the job? If you do, go and join us tomorrow."

Elena asked back: "You let me participate in that event?"

Martin laughed and said, "Go ahead and do me a favor. Contact more people and invite them to the club for free to drink and have fun..."

Elena said, "I'll call Monica. There's free food and night clubs. No mobilization required."

The Ford drove into the Clayton community, and Martin drove into the backyard of the house and stopped at the place where James was buried.

The wheels compact the ground.

James didn't say anything against it, which means they did the right thing. …………

Near noon, Bruce parked his pickup truck and entered the Beast's House carrying a pile of newspapers and information.

Besides Ivan the idiot guarding the porch, the only other idiot in the club was Martin.

Bruce placed the items on the ring stage and asked, "Why can you tell me what to do?"

Martin threw him a can of beer and opened another for himself, saying, "This is the difference between a smart person and a civilized person."

Bruce sat on the stage: "They are all betting on how soon you will be on this stage."

Martin boasted: "My dance is scary. I do a backflip and the earth explodes, and humanity is extinct."

Bruce finished his beer and threw the can accurately into the trash can: "This is the first time I realize that people can be as shameless as you."

"Because you have too little experience." Martin also threw away the can and took out two sets of pens and notebooks, one of which he gave to Bruce: "Stop talking nonsense and do what Boss Martin tells you to do."

He took a pile of newspapers and magazines and said, "The major print media, radio stations, and TV stations in Atlanta all have news hotlines. There are prizes for collecting news. Write down all the corresponding media phone numbers. Boss Martin will help you make a fortune."

"We can't break the law, we are civilized people!" Bruce complained, but his hands were not slow and he worked quickly.

…………

The northwest part of the Atlanta metropolitan area borders Marietta.

Elena joined Juliet and entered the Methodist branch.

We arrived at the large conference room, where seven or eight people sat on chairs, forming a big circle.

Jennifer, who was dressed conservatively, waved for the two people to come over and sit down.

A few minutes later, another five people rushed to the meeting room.

Jennifer presided over the chastity support meeting and said loudly: "You are willing to purify your body and mind and become the glory and pride of your family. I am proud of you!"

She looked around: "So who should we start with?"

A girl in her twenties was the first to stand up and tell her story.

Juliet followed, winking at Elena as she sat down.

Elena was preparing herself mentally to avoid her habitual swearing. She slowly stood up and said, under everyone's encouraging eyes, "I want to talk about a painful experience that haunts me like a nightmare. I hope to use your power to help me purify this unclean memory."

Jennifer smiled warmly: "Child, please speak up."

Elena tried her best to practice with Martin, with her eyes wide open and a look of horror on her face: "One night last weekend, my friend and I accidentally walked into a bar called Beast House on West Street. Everything there was too crazy..."

She racked her brains to describe the depravity of the Beast House and the negative impact it had on the people around her.

At some point, Jennifer took out a pen and notebook and asked, "West Avenue? Beast House?"

Elena said, "Yes."
