Chapter 74 Harry's Little Trouble

Chapter 74 Harry's Little Trouble
"Louis, Louis--" a sweet and gentle voice sounded from outside the door, "Get up quickly, or I'll come in."

Louis opened his sleepy eyes and looked sideways. The morning light was shining on the ground through the gap in the curtains. Judging from the angle, it was about seven or eight o'clock. Muttering that it was still early, he turned over and was about to continue playing chess with Zhou Gong, but he heard the door open and felt cold.

Turning around, the uninvited guest who had snatched his quilt was looking at him leisurely.

"Ah... Sister Diana, please let me rest for a while. Young children are still growing, and lack of sleep will affect their development."

Diana was unmoved. She put the quilt aside, lifted Louis up from the bed, and urged him softly, "Get up quickly. Don't be as lazy as your grandfather when you are young..."

"What's for breakfast?" Louis asked cutely, hugging his pillow.

"Sausages, toast, baked beans in tomato sauce, roasted tomatoes, and scrambled eggs." As Diana spoke, she quickly made the bed for Louis, obviously urging him to get out of bed.

"Sausage? Salami (Italian sausage) or Bratwurst (German sausage)?" Louis asked persistently.

“English sausages.”

"Oh, no..." Louis felt a wave of nausea rising from his stomach to his throat. He buried his head in the pillow and moaned weakly, "I don't want to... I don't want to eat the emulsified high-fat offal tube..."

"It's not a good habit to be picky about food, my dear baby." Diana said, and then she turned around and shouted, "Come in."

As the words fell, a row of maids came in one after another, escorted Louis to wash up, and then helped him change clothes as usual. After this complicated procedure, Louis was so tired that he felt exhausted.

Louis, with a tired face, sat at the dining table, facing the traditional English breakfast, which he found difficult to swallow.

In fact, this breakfast is not bad. The difficult part lies in the emulsified high-fat offal tube. Louis was fortunate enough to taste it once, and even the most authentic Cumberland sausage could not arouse his interest.

If you want to learn English cuisine, everyone will understand.

As for the other fried, deep-fried dishes, they were quite appetizing to rice, but the Mountbatten family’s tradition of not wasting food forced him to finish the sausage with a life-and-death attitude.

"Why do I always have tears in my eyes? Because I love emulsified high-fat sausage deeply." Louis murmured indignantly, and the maid who was serving him immediately cut the sausage into slices and put them in front of him. He closed his eyes, picked up a piece of sausage and stuffed it into his mouth.

It has to be said that it is a bit smelly.

Just clean and hygienic.

After years of cultivation, even stones would have some flavor. Louis, who was smart, naturally learned the manners of the nobles. Even when he forced himself to eat food he didn't like, he could do it in a gentle and elegant manner.

Coupled with his handsome appearance, he looks even more elegant.

"Flutter, flutter..."

It seemed like something was flapping its wings. Louis looked in the direction of the sound and saw an owl trying hard to hit its window.

That fat round-faced Scottish chicken doesn't seem to be very smart.

"How come there is an owl? Oh... Susan, go get some food and go out to feed this poor little creature. It looks like it's lost." Diana put down the newspaper and looked at the owl with pity in her eyes.

Louis' previous letters were all collected and mailed by servants at home, so Diana didn't know that owls had the ability to deliver letters.

Louis called Susan: "Ms. Susan, please stop for a moment. Don't go yet. Yes, yes, Mr. Bill, could you please open the window first? I think this little guy seems to be looking for me."

Diana frowned her delicate eyebrows but did not object to her brother's behavior.

She also wanted to get close to this little thing.

The butler Bill bowed to show that he had received it, then stepped on a stool and opened the window above. An owl fluttered in, landed on the table, and threw a letter in front of Louis.

He didn't rush to open the envelope, but instead picked up the fork and pushed the emulsified high-fat offal tube in front of the owl. The owl was not picky about food, and it chirped a few times to express its gratitude, then lowered its head and began to enjoy the rare delicacy.

Take asparagus.

Diana also put down the newspaper and looked at the little creature eating heartily in front of her. She stood up and walked over to touch its feathers. Then she looked at the letter on the table and said with interest, "This little guy is actually not afraid of people... Hmm, is it here to deliver a letter?"

Louis nodded and opened the letter.

It says:

Dear Louise:

I heard that Harry has been in some trouble at his uncle's house recently, and I think as his good friend, you will not sit idly by. Also, give my regards to old Louis.

Your faithful
Albus Dumbledore

He put the letter down, and Diana asked with concern, "What happened, Louis?"

"It's my principal. It's not a big deal." Louis handed the letter to Bill and asked him to keep it. "The letter said that one of my classmates has a little trouble and needs my help to deal with it."

"But..." Louis hesitated: "He didn't seem to tell me where my classmate's home address is."

As if by telepathy, another owl landed outside the window.

Susan went over to retrieve the letter and fed it some beef jerky. The owl hooted happily twice, then flapped its wings and flew away.

Dear Louise:

Oh, sorry, I forgot to tell you Harry's address. I hope you won't blame an old man for his forgetfulness.

4 Privet Drive, Little Whinging, Surrey.

Yours faithfully
Albus Dumbledore

Louis drew several periods in his mind.

"Okay, I need to go to Surrey later...Mr. Bill, please inform Mr. Askin to prepare a car for me." Louis handed the letter to Bill and instructed.

"I'll go with you, Louis." Diana said with a hint of worry between her brows: "It's too dangerous for you to go alone."

"It's okay, Duch (Diana's nickname)." Louis smiled and said, "My classmate's family situation is quite complicated. His parents died when he was very young, and now he lives with his aunt and uncle... Oh, his aunt and uncle are both Muggles... Ordinary people who can't do magic, and their attitude towards him is quite bad."

"Oh, how pitiful." Diana suddenly felt pity for the poor little thing she had never met before: "Then I must go with you and take him home. Alas...poor child..."

Having said this, she covered her chest with her hands, her big eyes filled with sympathy and sadness.

"Okay, if you don't mind the hassle." Louis shrugged. He didn't care.

As for Harry's uncle... Vernon Lewis has his own way of dealing with him.
