Chapter 38 Troll

"None of your business!" Hermione screamed. "You're the little beaver!"

"You are so fragile. Look at you. When something happens, you just squat in the bathroom and cry." Catherine wrinkled her delicate nose: "I am beginning to believe what you said. You are not a little beaver."

Hermione rolled her eyes at her.

"You're not a skunk, damn it..." Catherine put on a look of sudden enlightenment, and then said with disgust: "How can you stay in an environment with this smell?"

Hermione's defense was broken.

"Ah————!!!" Hermione screamed, "I'm not a skunk——!!! You disgusting woman!!!"

"I don't have time to play this kind of boring debate trick with you." Catherine's eyes flashed with disdain: "Whether you are a beaver or a skunk, you should understand that sulking here alone will not solve the problem, and it will only make people look down on you even more."

Hermione wanted to say something, but was interrupted by a muffled "dong, dong, dong".

She wiped her eyes, stood up from the toilet, and asked curiously, "Ms. Wo...Worey, did you hear any noise?"

Catherine nodded and turned to look in the direction of the sound. A dark shadow was stretched long by the light and was approaching the bathroom door.

So, who was wrong to design the bathroom door so big?

This was an idea shared by Catherine and Hermione.

A tall monster was standing at the door, holding a big wooden stick in his hand, staring at the door in front of him with eyes full of wisdom.

The sour smell of stinky socks that hadn't been washed for months wafted over at the right moment, and Hermione couldn't help but vomit all over the floor.

She swore that she would rather smell the garlic in Professor Quirrell's Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom than endure this inhuman torture.

"It's...it's a troll!" Hermione's face looked very bad. She didn't know whether it was because of vomiting, smoke, or being scared.

The giant monster looked over in the direction of her voice. Her heart tightened and she said hastily, "Oh no! It discovered us!"

"Oh my god..." Hermione's throat was a little dry. She felt as if all the strength in her body had been drained away. She could only lean against the door of the compartment to maintain her standing posture: "I read in a book that trolls are highly resistant to magic... At our age, it is difficult for any spell to cause effective damage to it..."

"Stand behind me!" Catherine didn't look back. She pulled out her wand and stared at the troll in front of her.

"No, I can't leave you alone—"

"Stand behind me!" Catherine grabbed Hermione's wrist and threw her not far behind her: "You will only get in the way if you stay next to me!"

As he was speaking, a rumbling sound was heard again, and another giant monster came over.

"I feel... we're going to die." Hermione's words seemed to come from the deepest part of her throat, with a feeling of seeing through the world.

"I guess it won't be today." Catherine waved her wand, and a dark green flame gushed out, devouring the first troll as Hermione looked at it as if it were a miracle.

Full-level Fiendfyre, so terrifying. At that moment, Hermione's eyes had some inexplicable elements that she herself did not understand.

"Stupefy! (passed out)"

A light blue spell shot out from the tip of Catherine's wand and hit the second troll right on the forehead. The troll staggered, treading on cotton wool like a drunk, and finally fell to the ground with a thud.

"Hermione! Hermione!" Harry and Ron's voices also rang out there, and at the same time, two little heads popped out from the other side of the door.

When they saw Catherine, they were both stunned, and their originally happy faces instantly fell.

"Miss...Ms. Wally..." The two of them greeted each other stutteringly.

"Red-haired squirrel, and four-eyed frog?" Catherine looked at the two cowering people with cold eyes. After a while, she put her wand back into the pocket of her robe and said, "If you had come a little later, maybe each of you could have received a can of beaver meat sauce."

"Harry, Ron..." Hermione was very surprised to see her two friends. She ran over and hugged Harry. When it was Ron's turn, she thought about it and gave him a hug: "I didn't expect that you two would come to see me... Oh my God."

Hatred between children comes and goes quickly, and Hermione has already forgotten what Ron said badly about her this afternoon.

"Hey, I thought that's what you were going to say." Ron smiled and scratched the back of his head. "That's what friends are, isn't it?"

Harry also had a silly smile on his face. Catherine looked at the budding trio with disdain and said with disdain, "So... Miss Beaver and her squirrel boyfriend - oh, and the frog sisters. If there's nothing else, I think I'll leave here."

As soon as these words came out, the three of them blushed, especially Ron, whose head seemed to be steaming. He looked at Harry, then stole a glance at Hermione, and seeing that Hermione was also looking at him with a red face, he quickly turned his face away again.

Potter stood there grinning like a fool, looking no smarter than the troll.

A burst of hurried footsteps woke up the trio and interrupted Catherine's steps to go out. The first person to appear in front of everyone was Professor McGonagall. She looked at the unconscious troll on the ground, one hand covering her chest, breathing heavily.

"Who can tell me what happened here?" She swept a stern look across the group, making San Xiao feel a little uncomfortable.

Catherine didn't care, it wasn't her fault anyway.

Snape also came in at the right time, limping. He first looked at Harry with concern, then quickly looked away and put on a serious face. Professor Quirrell followed behind him, only looking at the troll, first a flash of surprise flashed in his eyes, and then he let out a weak sob, sitting on a toilet, clutching his collar tightly.

"It's my fault, Professor." Hermione was the first to speak up: "I thought I could deal with trolls, you know, I read about them in books..."

"It was Miss Volley. She saved me and knocked out the troll with a spell." She didn't say there were two trolls. After all, dark magic like Fiendfyre... wouldn't have a good impact if it was spoken out.

She didn't want to cause trouble for Harry and Ron, nor did she want to bring trouble to Catherine who saved her.

"Harry and Ron were just worried about my condition, so they came to rescue me," Hermione added.

Professor McGonagall looked at Harry and Ron with a stern look. The two silly boys nodded their heads quickly, fearing that they would be scolded by Professor McGonagall if they nodded too slowly. It seemed that these two were not very smart.
