I'm the king of the roll at Hogwarts

Chapter 323 I Say Minister’s Opinion

Chapter 323 I Say Minister’s Opinion
"You must have read Ms. Rita Skeeter's article," Harry said quietly, and it was not until he spoke that the others in the room noticed that Harry had been awakened.

Fudge's face turned slightly red, and it seemed that his face was not so thick as a wall. But as soon as he had this thought, Fudge's face quickly changed into a look of resistance and stubbornness.

"Also, I found out," Fudge looked at Dumbledore and said unyieldingly, "I found out that you have been hiding some information about this child from reporting... He is a Parseltongue, right? His behavior is strange in every way..."

Louis burst out laughing, looked at Hermione, and said in Chinese at a normal volume with a smile: "What a weird talk, full of bullshit..."

Hermione couldn't help but let out a chuckle, and the commotion here of course attracted Fudge's attention.

"Mr. Mountbatten, what are you talking about?" Fudge narrowed his slightly cloudy eyes and spoke in a very bad tone.

"That's a good point, Minister." Louis said cheerfully, turning back to look at Hermione. The two smiled at each other, and everything was said without words.

It was always good to tease Fudge. Besides, Hermione knew Chinese. She had studied Chinese by herself in the library when she had nothing to do. Of course, she was influenced by Louis. She not only studied Chinese systematically, but also Latin and Greek.

Know more and live a more wonderful life. This is Louis's motto and it has also become their motto.

Before Fudge could get angry, Dumbledore coldly changed the subject: "I suppose you are referring to the pain in Harry's scar that he has been feeling?"

"So you admit that he has been having these pains?" Fudge said rapidly, as if to confirm his theory. "Headache? Nightmares? And perhaps - hallucinations?"

He looked at Harry as if he were a madman.

"Listen to me, Cornelius," said Dumbledore, taking a step towards Fudge, his eyes so determined and fierce that Fudge flinched a little. "Harry is as sane as you and I...his scar on his forehead has not clouded his mind! I believe that Harry's scar only hurts when Voldemort is lurking nearby or when he feels particularly murderous."

Dumbledore's emotions were so contagious and calm that they frightened Fudge, a mean-spirited man with only petty ambitions in his heart, and he took a half step back from Dumbledore, but his expression remained stubborn.

"Forgive me, Dumbledore, but I have never heard of a cursed scar acting as an alarm before..."

As Fudge said this, he couldn't hold it in anymore. He looked at Harry and Dumbledore with incredible eyes, as if he had heard some joke.

"I saw Voldemort come back!" Harry shouted. He struggled to get out of bed, but Mrs. Weasley held him back. "I saw the Death Eaters! I can name them! Macnair!"

When Harry called out the name, the scene of last night and the Death Eater with his yellow teeth and a sluggish look appeared in his mind.

"He has been declared not guilty long ago, Potter." Fudge's tone was unfriendly. He glanced at Dumbledore, trying to find an instigating look on his face, but unfortunately, Dumbledore had a blank expression and he saw nothing. "He is currently working in the Ministry of Magic!" Fudge added.

"Avery! Nott! Crabbe! Goyle!" Harry shouted loudly, gasping for breath. He remembered clearly the names of the Death Eaters that Voldemort had named last night. He believed that even if those Death Eaters turned into ashes, he would still recognize them.

"You are just repeating the names of people who were acquitted and found not to be Death Eaters thirteen thousand years ago!" Fudge shouted angrily. "You can find those names in the past trial reports! For God's sake, Dumbledore - I know that at the end of last year, this boy's head was full of some weird stories that were made up. His lies became more and more bizarre, and you actually believed them all - I think this is just a pretense to attract attention! This boy can talk to snakes, Dumbledore, and you still think he can be trusted?"

At this point, Fudge's whole face turned red, and he glared at Harry fiercely with an expression that was difficult for others to understand, as if Harry was the murderer of his father.

In fact, it is understandable. After all, this is related to the position under the buttocks. It is understandable that Fudge is a little hysterical. However, he has completely lost his character now and has completely lost the ability to maintain his temper as the Minister of Magic.

"You fool!" Professor McGonagall was full of dissatisfaction with the cowardly Minister of Magic. She shouted angrily, "Don't the conspiracy of Barty Crouch Jr. and the attack on Barty Crouch Sr. explain everything? This is by no means the random behavior of a madman! He even had a plan! He had a premeditated plan! He sneaked into Hogwarts in an organized manner! He also caused all kinds of accidents in the final!"

"I don't see why not." Fudge's face flushed, and he was no less angry than Professor McGonagall. He argued loudly: "It seems to me that you just want to create a panic and destroy everything we have painstakingly built in the past thirteen years!"

Harry was stunned. He couldn't believe his eyes and ears. Fudge had always been domineering and arrogant, but he was kind at heart. But he didn't expect that the angry little wizard standing in front of him would refuse to believe that his orderly, stable and comfortable world could be destroyed. He didn't understand why Fudge refused to believe that Voldemort could make a comeback.

"Voldemort is back," Dumbledore said again. "Fudge, if you accept this fact immediately and take the necessary measures, we may still be able to save the situation. The first and most important step is to free Azkaban from the control of the Dementors!"

"Nonsense!" Fudge shouted again. "Abolish the Dementors? I'd be thrown out of my office if I ever suggested that! Half of us only sleep soundly at night knowing that there are Dementors standing guard in Azkaban!"

"Cornelly, if we knew that you let Voldemort's most dangerous cronies guard those guys who would serve him at his command, then the rest of us would not sleep well!" Dumbledore persuaded earnestly, trying to make Fudge turn back, "Those guys can't be loyal to you, Fudge! The power and pleasure that Voldemort can provide them are far more than what you can provide - after all, you are not like Voldemort who has no bottom line and can provide him with souls at will... Once Voldemort has the support of the Dementors, his former cronies will return to him one after another, and then it will be difficult for you to stop him from regaining the power he had thirteen years ago!" Fudge's mouth opened and closed, as if no words could express his anger.

"The second step you must take, and you must take it immediately," Dumbledore continued, "is to send a letter to the giant."

"Send a letter to a giant?" exclaimed Fudge, suddenly able to speak again. "What kind of crazy talk is this?"

"Reach them the hand of friendship before it is too late," said Dumbledore, "or Voldemort will win them over. He has done this before, and he is the only wizard of all wizards who can offer them rights and freedom!"

"You - you have to be kidding me!" Fudge gasped in shock, shaking his head and backing away from Dumbledore again. "If the wizarding world knew that I was associated with giants - and people hate giants, Dumbledore - my career would be over!"

"Cornelly, you are too obsessed with your official position, which makes you lose your proper judgment." Dumbledore said, his voice gradually rose, people could feel the aura of power surrounding him, and his eyes were shining again. "You attach too much importance to the so-called pure wizard blood! You have always been like this! You don't realize that a person's birth is not important, what matters is what kind of person he grows up to be!"

"Let me tell you now - as long as you follow my advice and take some measures, the Ministry of Magic and the entire wizarding world will always remember you as the bravest and greatest Minister of Magic in history. If you do not take action - history will also remember that it was you who stood idly by and gave Voldemort a second chance to destroy the world we have worked so hard to rebuild! For this, you will bear historical responsibility!"

Dumbledore's words hit Fudge's heart like a heavy hammer. "Absurd," he whispered, continuing to step back. "Crazy... It's really crazy. I never thought, Dumbledore, that even you are crazy..."

There was a silence, Madam Pomfrey stood beside Harry's bed, covering her mouth with her hands. Aunt Molly was still standing in front of Harry, holding his shoulders with both hands to prevent him from getting up. Bill, Ron and Hermione all stared at Fudge in surprise.

"We should really ask Weatherby to come over and take a look, my God..." Ron said to Louis beside him in a very low voice, "Look at the Ministry of Magic bureaucrats he worships, what kind of bugs they are, my God..."

Louis glanced at Ron with amusement. It had been almost a year, how come he hadn't forgotten the "Wetherby" joke?
"If you persist in your delusion, Cornelius," said Dumbledore, "we must go our separate ways. You do as you see fit. I will do mine."

There was no threat in Dumbledore's voice; it sounded like a statement, but Fudge was furious, as if Dumbledore were looming over him with a wand raised.

"Well, well, Dumbledore," he said, waving a finger threateningly, "I have always given you complete freedom. I have always respected you. I may not agree with some of your decisions, but I always keep silent. Not many people would allow you to employ werewolves, or keep Hagrid, or decide what to teach students without consulting the Ministry. But if you are prepared to go against me..."

"The only one I want to oppose," Dumbledore sighed deeply, "is Voldemort... If you are against him, Cornelius, then we are still on the same side."

Fudge seemed to be unable to think of how to answer. In fact, deep down in his heart, he still believed what Dumbledore and Harry said about "Voldemort's return". Because of this, he didn't want to offend Dumbledore at all. After all, only Dumbledore could deal with Voldemort.

His feet were a little unsteady, after all, Dumbledore's words really shocked him. He swayed back and forth for a moment, spinning the bowler hat on his head with both hands. Finally, he spoke, with a hint of begging in his voice, "He won't come back, Dumbledore, he can't... absolutely can't..."

Everyone knows that this plea is not for anyone, but a refusal to accept the truth that may come. Voldemort's return is not limited to his position being in jeopardy. In fact, if that madman is in this world, even if he is the Minister of Magic, his life is in danger.

At the same time, he knew better than anyone that what Dumbledore said was actually very right. Dementors were unreliable and had no moral principles at all. They would obey the orders of anyone who had no bottom line. And now it seemed... Voldemort was the most suitable person for them to serve - after all, a murderous demon like Voldemort did not mind providing them with an endless supply of souls, which was enough to make them serve him until they died.

Dumbledore glanced at Snape, and Professor Snape immediately turned around and walked out of the medical wing. A moment later, just as Fudge was pacing back and forth anxiously, Snape came back, holding in his hand a person who looked extremely familiar to Fudge.

It was Barty Crouch Jr.

He was restrained by Snape's spell and could only walk in front obediently. But to be honest, Snape could only restrain him from using magic, but not him. After seeing Fudge, he suddenly pounced on him, frightening Fudge to step back repeatedly, but he tripped and fell because he did not stand firmly.

Fortunately, Ron was quick to catch Fudge's fallen body, otherwise his embarrassment would not have been limited to this.

"Impedimenta!" Louis was quick-witted and pointed his finger at Barty Crouch Jr., which stopped him from rushing forward.

Louis glanced at Professor Snape. He didn't know if it was an illusion, but he seemed to see a flash of gloating in the professor's eyes.

He was certain that his professor had done it on purpose... He had definitely released the spell on Barty Crouch Jr. the moment he entered the room. He had definitely wanted to scare Fudge on purpose and make him look ridiculous.

It seems that Snape is quite resentful towards Fudge, and Louis is also very happy about his misfortune. He does not have any opinion on Fudge, but is just a fun person.
