I'm the king of the roll at Hogwarts

Chapter 178 Harry's Birthday Party

Chapter 178 Harry's Birthday Party

There was no way Harry would call Louis in the middle of the night. After all, he knew Louis was grumpy when waking up. If he disturbed this guy, he might get into trouble.

The next morning, Harry went downstairs for breakfast and found the three Dursleys already sitting at the kitchen table, watching a brand new TV, which was a gift for him and Dudley to come home for the summer vacation - at least that's what his uncle told him.

Dudley had been complaining loudly about the distance between the living room refrigerator and the television, and for much of the summer Dudley had spent time in the kitchen, his greedy little eyes fixed on the television screen, his five-layered jaw quivering as he stuffed his mouth with food.

Harry sat down between Uncle Vernon and Cousin Dudley. Uncle Vernon seemed to have gained a little weight, and it was not easy for Harry to sit between him and Cousin Dudley, fortunately he was rather thin.

There seemed to be something extra for breakfast today. When Harry looked closely, it was a blueberry pie and a few pieces of bacon, both of which were his favorite foods.

"Happy birthday, Harry." Uncle Vernon's large hand patted his thin shoulder, nearly knocking him and the stool apart.

Aunt Petunia also came over with a plate of sausages and joined Dudley in wishing him a happy birthday.

This made Harry a little flattered. After all, this was the first time in thirteen years that he heard this family wish him a happy birthday.

"Thank you, thank you." Harry's eyes were sparkling. This was once the thing he most desired.

He took the plate of blueberry pie and saw Dudley's eager eyes. After hesitating for a moment, he gave him half a piece.

"Thank you, Harry." Dudley was not too surprised, because he knew that his little cousin was soft-hearted.

Harry took a bite of his blueberry pie and turned to look at the TV, where the reporter was midway through a news report about a fugitive criminal.

"The public must be aware that Blake is armed and extremely dangerous. We have set up a hotline and anyone who knows of Blake's whereabouts must report it immediately."

"Don't tell us he's up to no good," snorted Uncle Vernon, glaring at the prisoner over the top of his newspaper. "Look at him, dirty-looking, and with that expression, he's not a good guy."

Harry looked at the Black on the screen and it was true. His face was covered with unwashed dirt, his beard was not clean shaved, and his hair seemed to have not been washed for a long time and seemed to be sticking together.

The newscaster reappeared on the screen: "The Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries will announce today--"

"Go on!" roared Uncle Vernon, staring at the announcer furiously. "You haven't told us where this lunatic escaped from! What's the use? He could be right down this street!"

Harry knew that his uncle was quite afraid of death.

"Uh, Uncle Vernon..." Harry called out to his uncle at this time, and looked at him nervously with anger on his face.

After all, no one would be happy if their anger was interrupted.

But Harry's next words caused Uncle Vernon's expression and attitude to do a 180-degree turn.

"Can I use the phone?" Harry asked somewhat tangledly, "You know, today is my birthday, and my classmate Louis asked me if I could come to my birthday party..."

"Your classmate, Louis?" Uncle Vernon's voice rose an octave, like a cat whose tail was stepped on: "Your Highness? Then what are you waiting for? My Harry, inviting classmates to our house for the birthday party is what we should do. You should call immediately!"

"Ah... I suggest waiting a while, Louis usually gets up late..." Harry reminded carefully.

"Oh, I didn't think it through, Harry." Uncle Vernon's eyes almost disappeared with laughter. He pinched Harry's cheek and said with a smile: "You are still thoughtful, Petunia. Tonight's dinner must be sumptuous, very sumptuous..."

"Oh, right, uncle." Harry finally revealed the dagger hidden in his Yan State map, which was the Hogsmeade signature form, and handed it to Uncle Vernon: "The school said that third-year students can go to this Hogsmeade village on weekends, but they need the signature of their guardian..."

Uncle Vernon said nothing, turned around, took out a ballpoint pen from a corner, and signed his name on the application form in a flamboyant manner.

"We should care about the growth of young people, right?" Uncle laughed until his eyes disappeared. Then he stood up and said, "I'd better leave right away, Petunia. Maggie's train will arrive at ten o'clock."

Harry was still immersed in the joy of getting the signature, but he was shocked when he heard this, and returned to reality unhappily. "Aunt Marge?" He blurted out: "She - uh, is she coming here?"

Maggie is Uncle Vernon's sister. Although she has nothing to do with Harry, Harry still has to call her aunt according to the etiquette of relatives. Aunt Maggie lives in the countryside. There is a big garden around the house where she keeps dogs. She doesn't come here often, but every time she visits, she will leave Harry with terrible memories. Those memories are so fresh that they cast a big shadow on his little heart.

"Maggie will be staying here for a week." Uncle Vernon looked indifferent, turned to look at Harry, and comforted him: "Don't worry, Maggie will only stay here for a few days, she will definitely not make things too difficult for you."

Look at what he said. Harry would never believe that Aunt Marge, who had always targeted and looked down on him, would let him go.

After calling Louis, Harry sat there in an unhappy state, acting emo. He really didn't like Aunt Marge.

But his emo state didn't last long. After a while, Aunt Petunia called him and asked him to go downstairs to greet the guests.

After standing there for two or three minutes, there was the sound of pebbles being crushed, as Uncle Vernon's car drove back into the driveway, then the bang of a car door, and the sound of footsteps on the garden path.

Aunt Petunia opened the door and Aunt Marge stood on the threshold. She looked a lot like Uncle Vernon, with a stocky figure, a thick, purple face, and even a bit of stubble, but she was not as heavy as Uncle Vernon. She was carrying a huge suitcase in one hand and holding the bad-tempered old dog Lippy under her arm on the other.

After being intimate with Dudley and stuffing him with a brand new twenty pounds note, Harry took the heavy box and tried to drag it upstairs as long as possible. His mentality now was like an ostrich, and it would be good to sit with her and chat later.

But happy times always pass very briefly, and he couldn't move for a day. When he returned to the kitchen, Aunt Marge had already eaten fruit cake and drank tea, and Lippy was licking food in the corner. Harry saw a flash of disgust in Aunt Petunia's eyes - Aunt Petunia hated all kinds of animals, and could be said to treat them equally.

But looking at Aunt Petunia, it seemed that she dared not speak out. This elder sister-in-law had a rich family background and often bullied her. But since Harry was born, she would not target her every time she came here. Thinking of this, she suddenly felt a little sorry for Harry from the bottom of her heart.

Harry felt better now. It turned out that his aunt wasn't targeting Hedwig...

Just as he sat down, Lippy began to bark, and Aunt Marge turned her attention to Harry for the first time. "So you're still hanging around here, aren't you!" Aunt Marge demanded angrily.

"Yes," Harry replied halfheartedly, in which he adopted Snape's attitude.

Harry swore to God, he felt that Snape's attitude was not bad sometimes, at least at this moment, it was too...

It feels so good, Professor Snape, I, Harry Potter, want to kiss you in person!
"Don't say 'yes' in such an ungrateful tone!" Maggie roared. "Vernon and Petunia were very kind to take you in. I wouldn't have done that. If someone had dumped you on my doorstep, you would have gone straight to the local orphanage."

Harry thought to himself that it might be a good idea for me to go to an orphanage.

But although he was annoyed at heart, he still had to smile on his face. Professor Snape's signature smile was put on his face again.

"Don't smile at me!" Aunt Marge said in shock. "I can see that you haven't made any progress since the last time I saw you. I hope the school can force you, a little beast with no sense of humanity, to learn some manners." At this point, she swallowed a big mouthful of tea, wiped her stubble, and said, "Vernon, I forgot again, where did you send him?"

"Royal Westminster College," said Uncle Vernon promptly.

"Oh, Westminster Royal College..." Aunt Maggie repeated in a low voice, as if talking to herself, and then raised her voice by an octave: "What? You actually sent him to Westminster Royal College? God..."

I thought Harry was lucky to be able to go to an ordinary public school, but who would have thought that he could go to such a good school? One of the best...

"Are you crazy, Vernon? You sent him to such a good school, but my baby Dudley..." Aunt Marge scolded Uncle Vernon with spit flying.

Uncle Vernon endured his sister's roar, and waited until she finally stopped before continuing, "In fact, Harry's father has a very good relationship with a prince. Not only Harry, but also our family has made a lot of money thanks to his father..."

Aunt Maggie opened her mouth but for a long time no words came out.

I thought Harry was an orphan who had lost both his parents, but I never thought he was a returned Dragon King?

Even Lipi, who was gnawing on a bone nearby, raised his front paws again and looked at the young man in front of him, whom he had once bitten and who seemed to have a promising future.

Just when the atmosphere suddenly fell silent, the doorbell rang suddenly. Harry stood up as if he had been pardoned: "It seems that Louis is here. I will go open the door."

"Go quickly, go quickly, don't keep His Highness waiting anxiously..." Uncle Vernon said hurriedly, urging everyone to get up quickly to welcome the distinguished guest.

Maggie stood up reluctantly and asked Vernon quietly, "Vernon, who is the prince you are talking about..."

"Oh my God, of course it's His Royal Highness the Duke of Cambridge, His Majesty's nephew..." Aunt Petunia said quickly, with a sense of honor - this is my nephew's friend.

Harry opened the door and was pleasantly surprised to find not only Louis in front of him, but also classmates with whom he had a good relationship at Hogwarts, including Catherine, Hermione, Neville, Hannah from Hufflepuff, Justin from Ravenclaw, and he even saw his arch-enemy Malfoy.

"Happy birthday, Harry," everyone said in unison.

Harry was stunned for a moment, his eyes turned red, and tears welled up in his eyes, dropping to the ground with a plop.

"Damn it, Pott, why do you look like a woman..." Draco complained to Harry with disgust.

At this moment, even Draco was so cute in his eyes. He hurriedly called the classmates to come in. Now the originally spacious room seemed a little cramped because of the arrival of the classmates.

"Your Highness." The family bowed to Louis and Diana. Aunt Maggie was reluctant at first, but after seeing Diana, she couldn't hold it back and began to bow hurriedly.

Looking at the bustling living room, Aunt Marge felt a strong sense of dissatisfaction in her heart. She poked Vernon privately and planned to leave.

Seeing Harry living so well was more painful than sleeping in a pigsty.

Vernon was naturally unhappy. Since his family's conditions had been improving, he began to dislike his sister who usually acted arrogantly because of her wealth.

If it weren't for the etiquette of relatives, who would be willing to tolerate such a bad temper?

After Maggie left, Harry's face lit up with a happier smile, and he became the heartless fool at school again.

A fool has good fortune, as the old saying goes.

The only regret is that the Weasley family is on vacation in Egypt and can't come here to attend his birthday party. If the Weasley twins were here, it would surely be very lively.

From the corner of his eye, Harry saw a big black dog clinging to the window, staring at him intently. Yes, Harry felt that the big dog was staring at him.

really weird……

Before he could take a closer look, the big dog was driven away by Aunt Petunia through the window.

He turned around and found Uncle Vernon chatting enthusiastically with Louis. Thanks to Louis's talkativeness, he was able to continue chatting with him. He looked to the side and saw Dudley looking at Hermione with a dazed look - this scared him, and when he looked more carefully, oh, Dudley was not looking at Hermione, but the cauldron cake and liquorice wand in Hermione's hand.

It turned out that Louis and his friends had brought a lot of snacks from the wizarding world when they came. Harry saw the Beebe's Many Flavour Beans lying aside, so he walked over, opened the beans, took out a handful of beans and handed them to Dudley.

"Cousin, would you like to try this delicious bean candy?"

Harry's smile instantly changed from a big fool to a little fox. If Petunia saw it at this moment, she might think of the funny James.
