Happy Children's Day! Summary of May!

Finally, let’s talk about the plot!

At the beginning, the story was still stuck in the process of building the foundation after a million words, and I felt it was too slow. Later, I intentionally sped it up a little without affecting the established plot.

But overall, a little over two million words should still be in line with expectations.

The main reason is that there are too many places in the front that need to lay the groundwork for branch plots and foreshadowing, which takes up a lot of words. After the Jindan stage, many branch plots and foreshadowing opened in the early stage have to be slowly concluded and filled in.

In addition, regarding the readers’ feedback about the lack of outstanding younger generations in the protagonist’s family, it is not that I intentionally ignored it, but I just did not want to write too much about it before the protagonist reaches Dan Formation stage.

My personal thought is that after the protagonist reaches Dan, no matter what he does, he may go into seclusion for several years or even more than ten years at a time. If it is written that so many years have passed in the blink of an eye, it would be a bit cliché and monotonous.

And if he really came out of seclusion after decades of seclusion, the changes in the family would definitely be huge.
